After letting all the color grow out of my hair, I was told I needed to use a shampoo specifically for grey hair. I tried a store brand but couldn't find a conditioner to go with it, but after searching on Amazon, I found ArtNaturals purple shampoo and conditioner set. After reading some of the reviews I decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did. This shampoo and conditioner has brought out all my natural colors, now everyone tells me I have the hair color people pay for and it's all natural. Never will I color my hair again. Not only will I continue to use this shampoo and conditioner but I highly recommend it!!!

Amazing product. My hair turn orange after a keratin treatment, so I was looking for a blue or purple shampoo without sulfate that could help. I'm glad I found this natural brand. It leaves my hair soft and toned down the brassy colors. I recommend them to any one with bleached dry hair.

wonderful on keeping your blond vibrant in color

Im 59 and yep, do the whole foil color. I have super fine and thinning hair and I have used the top end of a product like this. However, I was wanting to try something not too expensive but hopefully would work. I was very impressed at first use. yes, its very deep purple and yes it gets on your hands of course but DOES NOT STAIN YOUR HANDS OR ANY OTHER PART OF YOUR SKIN. It will take the dullness out and I have iron in my water so you can imagine how brassy I get. The shampoo will take all that out but you HAVE to use the conditioner because it puts the moisture back in your hair. Its a lighter purple and its really great for your hair and scalp. I will continue to use this product and no other. Generous on the amount they give you as well. I use it 2 to 3 times per week. Thank you for making a great product. I don't usually give reviews but this deserves one.

Best purple shampoo & conditioner I’ve ever used

This shampoo reduces yellow tones so well I literally used it in place of a toner when I bleached my roots before realizing I had run out of toner. I put the shampoo on the roots of my damp hair and left on for half an hour, and the yellow was completely gone. This shampoo & conditioner when used regularly will literally make your hair gray, silver, or white, depending on what level of blonde your hair is. The conditioner is SO MOISTURIZING and makes my hair soooo soft. I can’t say enough good things about this product. If you’re just trying to slightly reduce a small amount of brasiness but maintain a warm undertone, I wouldn’t use it more than once every 4 or 5 washes or else your hair will actually turn silver. If you are trying to maintain gray, silver, white or cool-toned platinum, this is the product for you. In this pic, my hair was about a level 9 blonde with wella t-18 toner and regular use of this shampoo & conditioner

Brass blaster! Enemy of yellow! I have used at least two dozen purple shampoos, AND THIS IS IT. If your hair is platinum blonde (level 10) and porous, only leave in for a couple of minutes to start. This has turned my hair the slightest tinge of purple once or twice, but it was lovely! It is PIGMENTED and can stain clothes and the shower (get your magic erasers on standby) but I’ve had minimal issues so far.

smells great, and VERY purple

My new daily set. It's natural, smells great, and VERY purple. I've had friends try it who have never heard of purple shampoo just for the shock value. Most IMPORTANTLY it does not stain my Carrara marble shower like the Clairol version.

Smells great, packaged securely

I've used high end (fanola, davines) to low end (shimmer lights/sally beauty/drug store) purple shampoos/conditioners and none have worked as well as this set. Smells great, packaged securely, affordable and best of all, it works on my bleached ashy blonde asian hair.

hair felt nice and tones down brassy color

Excellent Product to Maintain Gold Tones and Remove the Brass!

I love the way this shampoo leaves my hair looking shiny; how it helps to remove the brassy tones, and keep the gold tones on my naturally dark brown/black hair! The only thing I don't like is that it sort of stains my fingernails. It does come off after washing my hands a couple of times, but I guess that's a good sign that it's working well on my hair. Every other time I shampoo, I also use a clarifying shampoo before applying a second application of the Purple Shampoo just to get my hair really clean because the Purple shampoo alone doesn't give my hair and scalp that really "clean" feel, but I will definitely buy this product again.

Silver hair is difficult to upkeep but this product keeps my hair light and bright. It effectively neutralizes the brassy yellow tones and has kept my silver hair bright! My hair was professionally lightened to a platinum blonde and toned with a cool toner to make it more white-gray. Just using the purple conditioner alone made my hair nearly white. So I used a daily pastel silver conditioner/treatment on top of the purple shampoo to keep the look strong.
