Like wemo but less than half the price

Easy to set up, just like my wemo / took a few tries but finally connected (just like the more expensive brand name ones have for me), easy to set rules (on/off timer). Connected to my echo/Alexa with no prob..: SUPER happy! Definitely A better buy than the ones twice as expensive. Would buy again. If your not wanting a wemo switch, this is just as good, no compromises.

Great for getting appliances turned on or off when not at home. Huge energy saver

For those of you that are old enough to remember The Clapper from many years ago, this product is like that but smarter and better. I have a very old house and in our upstairs we rely on space heaters and window air conditioning units to keep our rooms comfortable in the winter time and summer time. But when we are gone all day, we don't want to leave those running, but we also don't want to come home to a freezing cold or burning up room. It's very uncomfortable, and also unsafe for our baby. These are absolutely amazing for that particular purpose. We can get on our cell phones and turn these things on ahead of time so our rooms are the temperature that we want when we go to bed at night. These seriously are the smartest little plugs. I will be buying more of these for other rooms of the house.

It’s a love-hate

My problem is that the light switches don’t work for the power outlets in my apartment (might be fixed soon..new management & just started reno) and its a pain to walk in the dark and find the plug in. The only annoying part about these plugs is setting them up. I don’t have working switches so that was difficult to figure out. I ended up using a power strip with an on and off switch and that worked (for anyone else with that problem). I loveeeee how I can turn it on & off with my phone now. No more walking in the dark or getting out of bed! It’s also cool how you can set a timer...this is where the hate comes in. You can make the lights kick on at the same time as your alarm to help wake up. Just like how those evil parents wake their kids up on weekends..the light burnssss! But they’re right.. it does work. So if you struggle getting up for work/school like I do, the alarm setting will help. It may be painful at first, but it’s better than rushing and being late everyday.

Great product at a great price.

I purchased the first two of these smart plugs because they were conveniently packaged two to a box. I bought two more when they they proved to be as good or better than anything else I had found. Grand product at a great price.

Works great.

Easy to set up, looks nice and feels well made. I was able to do exactly what I wanted which was set lights to on/off based on the sun rise/sun down in another time zone.

Surpassed expectations (updated)

Six months ago I purchased the first gosund plug after poor results with the Wemo product. I was so impressed I picked up a two pack. Again good results. I’m at a dozen gosund plugs to date including 4 controlling devices at a vacation home. I’m trying to think of something negative to say or a change I’d make but these plugs have performed flawlessly for months including power outages & router reboots. They automatically reset & keep going. Initially my expectations were low, after all these are half the the price of other popular units. I’m going to say straight up these have out performed my other major name smart plugs costing twice and those others have been returned to the club whse store. I’ve encountered no wifi drop issues whatsoever and they have linked with Alexa seamlessly. About 10 seconds after entering my WiFi password Alexa announces the new plug is ready to use. It’s early December & I’m buying some to give as gifts. I didn’t get these on a promotion or for free to review so this is my unbiased experience. Of all the tech gadgets I’ve purchased recently these have by far been the biggest success.

I like these better than the lights as I am able to plug in alamp or multiple socket . Put one on my entertainment center and it turns off all power while no one is home.

Works great, fast and easy to set up. The app works great and was easy to add the skill to Alexa and control with voice. The 2-pack is a better value and the size is smaller and less cumbersome than the big square models.

Works great, love them!

Purchased a two pack first one works great, second didn't work out of the box. Sadly I just tried it as I didn't have a use for it until today and now it's too late to return :( I want a replacement! Update: I emailed the company and though I never received a reply, less then a week later a replacement arrived and works perfectly A+ Will buy more in the future as needed!
