Wow!!

First of all this book is huge. I absolutely love it. The pages are flawed, and the first page did have a substance on it, but its handmade paper, so that's to be expected. To me, this book is worth the price. The leather, the stones, the way its bound and the way it clasps together is so unique and truly looks like it could be from ancient times. Shipping was super fast as well. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Wow!! This book is amazing.

The quality was amazing and better than expected!! The leather work is absolutely gorgeous and the stones are mesmerizing in the correct chakra order and not cheap plastic but real stones. The pages are high quality and of no holes in them due to the paper making process. The pages have a very nice feel to them and are sturdy. The pages look and feel old like you are looking at an antique book. The leather binding is well made and of durable material that will surely last a very long time and was not at all flimsy but sturdy. The two metal clasp that secures the book are beautiful and durable. Overall, I am very impressed with the workmanship and have begun adding entries to my journal. My only regret would be that I didn’t have enough money at the time to order another one right away but will definitely do so again.

Well worth the money!!! Its made beautifully! It has a ton of pages! (The pages are sort of fragile, so don't use marker on them) Very happy! It will work perfect for what I have in store!

Looks incredible, feels incredible

It looks exactly as advertised! (With one small exception, I'll come to that) The stones look very nice, the paper is a nice rough parchment which is exactly what I hoped for, and it's going to be great. Using it for the DnD campaign I'm dm'ing. Planing to fill it with puzzles and riddles for the party to have a physical rep, I figured it'd be a neat thing. The one issue that wasn't advertised, is that on the inside of the front cover, the sewing for the embroidery around the stones in the leather is clearly visible, and looks just a *tad* plain. Easily covered or even ignored, however. Even with that, 10/10. Easily recommended.

Masterpiece

This is my 2nd scrapbook from this seller, and each one I get is unique. I hadn't planned on keeping this one - long story, series of mishaps and crossed messages, but voila, here it is and it's just too gorgeous to send back. Seriously, if you've never owned a handmade book before, you just can't imagine the craftsmanship that goes into this. It's so beautiful that I almost don't want to defile it by writing in it and pasting my own silly photos and doodles onto its pages. This is the kind of item that becomes a family keepsake. It would make a really breathtaking gift for a writer or artist in your life, if you can bear to part with it.

A large, quality journal

This book is amazing and very large. I've used a gel pen, sharpie marker, lead pencil, and acrylic paint on the paper to test what you can do with this journal since a lot of people were asking about the paper quality. Don't use sharpies, they bleed right through (unless you're okay with not being able to use the back of the page you used the sharpie on). You can use a pencil, however, erasing takes a toll on it and starts to rub off the fibers and damaging the page. Gel pens are excellent for writing in this journal and they don't bleed through. And, surprisingly, acrylic paint did well and did not begin to show signs of bleeding through until I used generous amounts of paint. I'm using this journal for my book of shadows and I am very pleased with this product. I prefer this material of paper over regular paper any day. It has a more natural feel to it. 100% recommended.

Freaking GORGEOUS!

You have got to really appreciate a book like this! The book itself seems to be hand-stamped and the attention to detail is striking! The papers within the book are each unique and handmade, gorgeous and thick! I love writing in this book! Be careful when using pencil, draw/write and erase lightly before you commit fully (as far as sketching out drawings). Fine tip Sharpie bleeds through minimally depending on pressure. Watercolor pencils do not work, and markers bleed through should you press hard or color again and again to fill in. You can use markers lightly or stick with colored pencils as I have. Such a wonderful book, I am contemplating getting more!

Beautiful book!

Beautiful book!! The book is huge! Guess I didn’t look at measurements so pleasantly surprised. Paper is obviously hand made which is awesome. I read several reviews that complained of imperfections in the paper.. hand made paper is made with mixed material so it is supposed to have that. It is thick and beautiful, fantastic quality all around! I used a calligraphy marker and no bleed through. Thank you for a beautiful piece!

Totally Worth The Money

Impressed with quality, design, weight, and craftsmanship

More than impressed with the quality and design of this beautiful leather journal. Felt craftsmanship was remarkable, especially for the price. I had researched many of these before purchasing this one and found several through private companies that were substantially more and in my mind not as uniquely attractive. Mine is already half full and I am considering purchasing a second one.
