I was skeptical about these because of all of the reviews about them not holding anything up. I even bought back ups of another kind just in case. But they held up the name cards I had just fine. Not sure what others were using them for but for simple little name cards for seating they were great and never fell over. They won’t hold a big 5x7 card as they are small, but little regular name cards are good to go!!
