  • An Amazon brand

We've got a toddler and an infant at home and ohhhhh how life has changed, yet again! I'm OK with it now. I'm over my 21+ years but not quite "over the hill". There I was on Amazon doing my regular (and daily) shopping and noticed these "Mama Bear" brand, which Amazon has created. Cool. I noticed they had a coupon for their diapers which was nice, but I also noticed the prices were right up there with the big two name brands we typically buy. I wasn't scared since Amazon has not let me down yet. So, I purchased a case and they arrived in usual Prime time. These diapers look AND feel just like the two big name brands out there. Everything from the forming elastic waist and leg bands, to the absorbent padding is top notch. The prints and fabric feel is top notch. I'm really impressed. My daughter took to them right away and never batted an eye at night, or during the day, with the change in diapers. This is a good thing for parents who may be concerned with how a new material may impact their child. Absorbancy is great and again, that elastic has prevented a blowout or two already! I get it. You're skeptical and you should be, as was I. If you're looking at replacing your name brand diapers with these, look for a coupon and give them a try. We are so happy and with the saved trip to the store, we can keep fresh diapers on hand and not worry about when our baby goes from a size 3 to a size 4 since ordering the next size up is as easy as a "one click"! Update 07-18: My wife especially likes the Mama Bear brand so much that we have now subscribed for simple and automatic delivery of the diapers and the wipes. If you have not subscribed, look into it. It's easy, and you can save another 15%. If you have the Amazon store card, you save another 5%! With those savings factored in, this is a no-brainer! I don't get anything from writing these reviews other than a bit of satisfaction knowing I may have helped you make an informed purchase decision. We have only been using these diapers for about three days and so far for the price we like them pretty well. Pros: super soft, not as paper thin as other store brands, quilting inside the diaper is soft and nice, the fit is GREAT (I have a skinny and long 13 month old) like I’m talking way better fit than pampers or huggies and pampers are our absolute favorite. They also don’t have a chemical smell. And they are about 20 dollars cheaper than the equivalent amount of pamper swaddlers. The print on mama bear is so cute. Cons: they sag when they are wet. I find myself changing them much more frequently than pamper swaddlers. I personally wouldn’t use them overnight unless I ran out of our overnight diapers, BUT my son is a heavy wetter and drinks fluids right before bed time. Overall, I think these are worth the price. I think it’ll take some getting used to with the sagging but I’ve also used pampers since my son was born, sooooo yeah. Updated review after 4 months of every day use: I LOVE these diapers. They work so well for us and we haven’t had a single leak or blowout. I have gotten used to the sagging (which only happens when completely saturated) and it honestly doesn’t bother me anymore. They continue to wick the wetness away from my sons skin and are a great value for the price. We will be using these until our son is out of diapers and for our next little one!

We’ve tried all kinds of other diaper brands (Honest Co., Babyganics, Seventh generation…Costco, Pampers) and finally settled on buying these. They are more comparable to the name brand, hypoallergenic diapers like Honest Co. and babyganics but much more affordable. It's nice that not only are these hypoallergenic, but free of fragrances and PVC. We tried the Kirkland's brand diapers from Costco, but they had a really strong rubber smell to them. We have been using these for several months and haven't had any leaks, even at night and my son is a very heavy wetter. They seem to be comfortable for him. He has sensitive skin, but has never had a rash from these. I really like that they have the wetness indicator on them. They don't really sag, unless they are really full. The only con that I have found with these is that they seem to pill up and leave little bits of fibers that look like clumps of fuzz on his skin. It happens more with certain clothes, but it’s easy enough to wipe off and hasn’t been a problem.

I used to order honest company but the diaper bundle just didn’t work for us as my son grew. These diapers are very comparable in quality to honest company at a pampers or huggies price. I’ve never been a luvs user or a buy the cheapest diaper person. These things are on my son 24hrs a day. I prefer quality to price. The bear print is cute but I may switch to solid white. The problems I have with these diapers is the blue from the bears rubs off on my sons thigh and the tabs are difficult to grab when changing because they are straight. I do like that these have a wetness indicator unlike the honest diapers or many other high end diapers. I usually change my son at the slightest wetness and these make it easy. These are my go to diaper now. Wish they could do something about color transfer. That was never an issue with the Honest or Parasol print diapers and don’t know why it is with these. These diapers survive the night leak free (if you find leaking go up a size) now they need to make a pull up style for potty training.

My son would immediately get a rash with any regular brand of diapers we tried (huggies, pampers, and target up and up brand that we got from the diaper raffle at my shower). We also tried 7th generation, babyganics, Bambo nature and Honest co., and ended up going with honest. They worked great for us and were super cute, so that’s all we used, but after 2 years of spending $90 a month on diapers, I was kind of sick of spending the money, plus my kid is huge, so we needed a size 6 and the honest diapers were super expensive by the time you get to that size because you get so few in a package. I decided to look on amazon and see if how much the multi pack babyganics were and the mama bear diapers popped up. I read a ton of reviews and decided to give it them a shot. They’re softer than the honest diapers, and no rash! I’ve been super happy with them. Obviously they’re not as cute as the honest, and I don’t think they’re quite as absorbent, but we’re sort of potty training, so that’s not a problem. And they’re so cheap!!! I really wish I had known about these a lot earlier

I should start by saying my son fits most diapers just fine & rarely has an issue with a diaper, aside from outsoaking when they start to get small (normal). He is on the slightly small but average size, not a big chunky baby but not a super skinny baby either. I've tried all the major brands and major green brands. He's currently in a size 3. I find the size 3, slightly narrow in comparison to other diapers, not as much side cheek coverage, wish it were a little wider, but so far have only had 1 pee leak (tried it overnight & is definitely a day diaper for heavy soakers) & had one slight poop leak on a really large poop. I'd expect most diapers to have leaked a bit with either of those scenarios, my son needs an overnight & if he hasn't gone poo for a day or two watch out. I imagine this slightly narrow fit won't work great for babies with larger bottoms or the heavier cuties. His skin isn't particularly sensitive, but I still prefer to avoid fragrance (what's the point they still smell like diapers!), these have zero fragrance. They are rather soft for a greener diaper, think any of the greener diapers with bamboo, as opposed to 7th or honest which are stiffer. The price is good, for a diaper meant for sensitive skin. I like them enough that I'd buy them again, for use as a day time diaper. Cute print, the colors are a bit more male friendly imo (blues & greens). I rather like printed diapers, I know some people don't care & some prefer white because white doesn't show under light clothing. I think they are cute & fun, anything to cheer up diaper change time is good in my book. Anyway, I'd buy these again. I'd try a small pack first if you have a larger heavier set baby, at least in the size 3 which I find kind of narrow. Can't speak for the other sizes, I've only tried 3s.

UPDATE#2 ***The baby is now 12 months and still in size the size 4's. He's had a bit more solid food now, still BF-ing, and his poop has not escaped the diaper for months! I can now proudly (relieve-ed-ly?) say that he lasts the night in one diaper with no issues, so the 12 hour guarantee (the same one I once mocked) has finally come true for this house.*** UPDATE: ***We have been using these for a couple of months and will never look back! My now (almost) nine month old's butt has grown so we are now in size 4s. They have been wonderful. The babe likes to poop around 5 am every morning. Sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't and the 4s have been awesome at sucking up the moist juicy poo and stopping it from leaking out. My baby is still EBF (no solids yet), so yes, his poo is still the watery yellow stuff.*** My husband first ran the numbers and told me that we were going to be in debt soon if we didn't switch diapers soon. We were using the Bambo brand which we love, but as our baby's butt got bigger, the prices followed suit. We are on our third baby in 4 years and have been through a lot of diapers. I feel like a professional diaper reviewer by now. We suspect that our baby might have the MTHFR gene so we are adamant about getting him non-toxic diapers. Also, we are not Kardashians so we needed something affordable to the middle class. Wa are kind of crunchy, but cloth diapers are where we draw the line. These managed to check off all our boxes on paper, so we put them to the test: the 7 month old's precious baby bum. PROS: -When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised with how cute the diapers were. That's not high on my list, but again, "pleasantly surprised." Bonus. My baby's butt is extra cute now. -No fragrance and no chlorine! I love that these don't knock you out with some nasty perfume smell tantamount to an old lady covering up sweaty panty-hose. -The quality is excellent. The feel alone was much better than Earth's Best. They are softer, more "cloth-like." Not that cheap public-bathroom-paper-towel feel. -the back has a stretchy band that actually stretches. Far superior to Earth's Best and Bambo diapers. -Non-toxic! It's really sad that we have to label this, because why are other brands putting toxins on baby's butts in the first place??! -I haven't dealt with any urine leaks yet. My baby is a belly sleeper and nothing has leaked out near his belly button. Also, I tote this baby around a lot in my Tula (front carry). I'm always wary that he'll pee and it'll get all over my stomach (yeah, it's happened a lot), but so far in the past week or 2 that we've been using these diapers, I am happy to report that no pee has leaked on me! SUCH A RELIEF! -Pee indicator. I haven't had diapers with these on them in a long time. You don't really need the pee indicator at this point as the diaper undeniably swells up when it gets wet anyhow. CONS: -Not a big deal, but when he pees, it gets super pouchy. The Bambo brand seemed to hold a bit more pee. I find myself wanting to change these diapers more often. I'm sure it's just a mental thing because we haven't had any pee leaks yet. -On day one we had our first #2 blowout sale in his pajamas. It leaked through the legs and the sweet yellow goodness got all over his clothes. It was 5 am so I wasn't very happy in the first place. It is inevitable with any diaper, though. Crap happens. -the packaging says "leakage protection up to 12 hours." I guess if your baby rarely pees, then yeah. Go for it. In the meantime, I'll definitely be changing my baby's butt WAY more often than that. Overall, I would definitely recommend these diapers. We are quite pleased and grateful for the affordability.

I just started using these diapers about two weeks ago and I really like them. We've also experimented with other diapers such as Pampers, Huggies, Kirkland Signature, Target Brand (Up & Up), and other popular brands. This Amazon Brand diaper is by far in my top three favorite brands for diapers along with Huggies (super soft and absorbent) and Kirkland Signature (Absorbent and Cost-Effective per Unit). These diapers have put up with challenging blowouts, huge amounts of urine, and seem to do well at pulling away moisture from babies skin. Our baby might wear a diaper for up to five, or even six hours at night (he's 3 months) before he wakes up to cry and let us know he needs to be changed. Sometimes I have expected to pull the diaper off him and see diaper rash, but his skin looks great! I am actually impressed with how well it can hold sooo much poop and pee in it and doesn't irritate his skin. The design is great and the material is incredibly soft. I'm going to recommend these as one of our top brands to all my pregnant/momma friends. The only thing I would improve upon is making the price more competitive against vendors like Costco who sell the bulk Kirkland Signature brand diapers.

Don’t waste your time or money on any other diaper! Our son has been in these diapers for 4 weeks and I wish he’d been in them from day 1 leaving the hospital! All other diapers leaked, or, he managed to pee through the side or up the back. We tried every brand of diaper on the market & the only diaper that has held up has been Mama Bear. We have not had a single o’dark thirty wardrobe change because of a leaky diaper, anyone who is the parent of a newborn understands how important it is & wonderful to not have to wake your baby up too much because their diaper has leaked or blown out all over their night clothes and swaddle and now you have a screaming baby, double laundry & you have to change the crib sheet... The fit of these diapers is excellent, unlike all the other brands we tried these seem the truest to weight. Our son is tall and skinny and so we had a real difficult time getting him properly fitted in other diapers. For instance- newborn swaddlers by Pampers were too small, as were Huggies & Luvs, but the next size up was too big & he’d be swimming in them (hello leaks)...The gussets on these diapers are perfect and they contain even the worst poopy diaper juice from going out and down his skinny thighs, something other diapers failed at. The final test of these diapers- a clean one somehow made it into the washing machine. It came out bloated in size probably weighing a pound or so from whatever gel or absorbing core compromises the diaper but the structure of the diaper and it’s absorbing core were not compromised in ANY way...if that isn’t leakproof I don’t know what is! Baby also has extremely delicate skin & these diapers do not irritate in the slightest. They are soft too...Other diapers on the market like 7th Generation may be hypo allergenic etc. but feel like you’re putting your kiddo into a diaper made from a paper bag (with the same amount of absorbency). Mama Bear gives you the best of both worlds. Buy these diapers you will NOT regret it.

When my son started crawling we began to research diapers. What we found time and time again were ruff and stiff diapers. Plus some of the chemicals in the cruisers caused him to have a horrible rash. Mama bear diapers are soft and have a custom fit look and feel to them with all the extra elastic that is in them. This kid moves around and is all over the place and we have had ZERO leaks in the 3 months we have been using them. I am very pleased with the quality and durability of this diaper. Highly recommend
