Wide Enough for Two People

I own at least a dozen hammocks of all shapes and sizes. This one is staying up in my front yard. Pros: * Really wide * Really long * The rope mesh is cool and well ventilated on a hot day. I live in Texas and got to try this out when it was over 100F. * Wide enough for 2 people Cons: * You can feel the rope mesh (netting) on bare skin, some people might prefer a solid fabric hammock. I liked it, but I could see it's not for everyone. * The mesh stretches quite a lot so you have to make the ropes pretty tight or risk bottoming out. * It's a bit bulky to carry with you in a backpack for being lazy in a park. This is really for home use.

Relaxing and looks great

This is surprisingly comfortable. If the ropes bother you, you can lay on a light blanket. I like that the wooden pieces, keep it fully opened. Some hammocks seem to swallow you but not this one. It is roomy enough that my husband and I can both comfortable share it. Getting on and off isn't difficult. My son loves to lay in it and read. We have it hanging using a chain around a tree and it attached to the chains. The hammock looks and feels to be well made. We've had no issues with it unraveling or mildewing. So far, it is holding up well in the rain and storms we have had this summer. It dries quickly in the heat. I like the look of it, too. I really love this.

Indoor, covered patio hammock very comfortable but missing 2 clips

This is a nice hammock BUT you should know what you are buying before placing an order. If you are wanting a full-time outdoor hammock - this is NOT for you. It's all cotton and will decay fairly rapidly. If you want something to set-up and take down now and then, this will work great. If you want something for your porch or another covered indoor area this will work great. It's soft, sturdy for average sized adults and quite comfortable. I've owned probably two dozen hammocks over the years - from super simple to super fancy. Cotton rope hammocks are among my favorites. This comes with single mount hardware which means you will need two more clips...I was a bit annoyed by that but since I have the clips, didn't deduct for it. Aside from the lack of four clips (only includes two), this is a comfortable solid choice.

Cotton hammocks are much more comfortable than nylon cloth hammocks, but because it is very soft, the hammock stand must be at least 15 foot. Lying on top will not get stuck in your skin, very comfortable.

This rope hammock is easy to set up. It works good in my back yard. Kids have a lot of fun with it.

Great Quality

I prefer the flat hammocks to the kind that kind of roll up around you. When I saw this on the vine, I couldn't resist. The cotton ropes are nice and large, much larger than a lot of the flimsy ones I've seen. The weaving all seems very well done. You're going to need a 12' stand if that's the route you take, the 9' is too short for this one. It comes with hooks and chains for attaching to stands or trees or whatever at various lengths. It's quite comfortable, especially if you add a blanket and a pillow.

Exactly as described

This is an excellent replacement hammock! It does stretch so needs to be hung tight when first putting it up but is very comfortable and no large gaps in the weave. I would definitely recommend this product.
