Great way to introduce knitting

Got this as a Christmas gift for a friend and she loved it, she's already on a knitting spree having completed several scarves and 2 blankets! Such a good way to introduce someone to a new hobby.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced knitter, Knit Picks kits are a terrific buy! I'm about an intermediate knitter, and I love these kits to try the yarns and needles that are included in the kit. I'd never tried the Caspian birch needles before and I absolutely love them! So much so that I bought the interchangeable circular needle set after using the straight needles from the kit. The yarn is lovely, knits up beautifully with a nice drape. The pattern booklet that is included is very well written and includes clear photos for each step of the project that is terrific for a beginner as well as a refresher if you haven't knit for a long time. This was for a high school Tricky Tray, so I haven't looked at it.

Perfect starting kit!

I was really excited to start knitting again after 10+ years, but I really wanted to have directions, tools and materials together so I could really accomplish a project. This box was such an excellent choice! I finished the scarf and it turned out perfectly. I used the booklet and online tutorials with ease and just recently finished the beanie box!
