Works like it said. I tend to be a little rough on power cords, so knowing I'm not paying extra for the name on something that work just fine for me is great.

Black + Decker chargers are apparently notorious for crapping-out. You might save yourself major $$$ with this FLAGPOWER replacement. For no reason, the B+D charger for my two year old String Trimmer/Edger would not charge either of my LBXR2020 Lithium Ion batteries. It just kept rapidly flashing an annoying RED light and did nothing more (even after leaving it plugged in overnight). I thought it VERY unlikely that *both* batteries I have for the tool had died at the same time, so I thought I'd gamble on this FLAGPOWER LCS 1620 Charger. (NOTE: The batteries cost $50 each at Lowe's - ridiculous! But you can buy generic-brand versions on Amazon for less.) The new charger is a **WINNER**. Out of the box, it started charging the first battery (flashing GREEN until charged, when it changes to a steady green) and fully completed the charge in 5 hours or so (which is normal - depending on how depleted the battery is). Then it did the same for my second battery. Both batteries are *fine* and now work as they should. I don't know how long this new FLAGPOWER charger will work, but even if I have to replace it once a year, it is a MUCH better deal than having to buy B&D batteries at rip-off prices (like razor blades and printer cartridges)!

If your charging B&D 20 volt batteries you'll like this little charger. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it takes the battery to a higher level of charge than the charger that came with your tool. (Whatever that is.) Also this one disconnects from its power cord so when you're messing with the frustration of trying to stab it onto the battery there's one less thing to get in your way. I'm getting another one!

Lost original great replacement

Charger works great. I have charged my battery and can now use my backpack sprayer. Lost the original charger and this was a good replacement. Fast delivery too

It works

I misplaced my original charger and needed a reasonably priced replacement. This works fine. It has a flashing light when charging and a steady light when fully charged. I am not sure how quickly it charged my battery, but when I checked after an hour, the charge was complete. I am totally satisfied.

Great little charger for the 20 volt Li-ion battery from Black and Decker yard tools. Interesting that the Black and Decker Charger will not charge the battery but this on does. Not sure the rating of 2 amp versus 1.5 amp has an effect on battery life.

Nicely built

I bought this to take apart and use it to mount to a porter cable battery and use that battery to power a ts 100 soldering iron. When I took this apart I was expecting some cheaply made charger but it wasn't, it was built quite well. It was built so well instead of just gutting it I left the charger circuit in place and ordered a second one to gut.

Excellent Replacement For OEM B+D Charger

I bought this charger when I ordered a replacement battery because my original B+D charger would not charge my original battery - the instructions with the B+D charger indicated that the battery was bad. But the original B+D charger also indicated that the new battery was also bad, so I decided that the B+D charger was faulty instead of the battery. This FLAGPOWER charger successfully charged BOTH the original, so-called defective battery, and the new battery. I'm happy with this charger, and now have a spare battery to boot!

Excellent product and performance. I can't tell any difference between the FLAGPOWER unit and the factory original, except cost. And that's significant.
