Well, this is my third box of lights, I now have 30 of these installed! These lights are so light in weight! I wound up keeping a few of the lights up by just drilling a hole or two between the bulbs and attaching the fixture up by a couple screws, actually a couple lights are held up by just one screw; it's not going anywhere. Between the bulbs is thin sheet metal, so a flush mount was achieved vs hanging the light. Anyway, my garage is well lit!

Very Bright! I installed 8 in a 1000 sqft shop, which is half the number a lighting calculator indicated I'd need. I have plenty of light. The ability to plug one into the other saves installation cost. You might want them more than 5' apart.

I bought ten lights for a 26x32 garage with 10ft ceiling. Theses lights are super bright even at that height Had 6 8ft dual bulb florescent fixtures don't even come close to the light output of the led Very happy with the product and will buy more as needed Thank you!

I am changing my previous rating of these lights. I completed my review before I received them because of a terrible experience with Amazon and their shipping issues, coupled with a complete lack of care since all they did was fulfill the order. Now that I have received these lights, I am more than pleased. Easy to install, nice quality and instant on. Super bright and completely fill our basement with light. I would highly recommend Sunco lights. All hardware was present, nothing was damaged, they are super lightweight and linkable. The ten pack I bought was also VERY well packaged and protected. They are a smidge more expensive than other brands, but very well worth it. These will go with me if we ever move! Sorry for the poor previous review...

After some years, I finally illuminated my working garage... Selected because these can be chained together, max of 4; uses standard polarized cord (5-ft) to reach another fixture. Light, "day light" lumens, has proven perfect for my working garage. Each fixture is very light weight and easy to install; I attached mine directly to overhead 2x4 roof trusses without any issues.

Built a temporary paint booth. The Sunco lights are so much brighter than the fluorescent lights that they replace, it's like working outside in the sunlight. All while using far less electricity. Win, win! When the paint booth is no longer needed, the lights will become a welcomed addition to the garage and workshop. Side note: Since I started using these, I have experienced the failure of two florescent lamps while the Sunco LEDs have performed at 100%. Could not be happier with their performance or the price.

I got tired of dealing with the fluorescent fixtures in my garage. Flickering, bulbs burning out, dimming in cold weather, so I decided to go with these LEDs. They are very light and easy to handle and install and the difference in brightness over the flourescents is staggering. Since the old fixtures hung from hooks 3 feet apart and the LEDs required hooks 4 feet apart, I had to install a hook one foot over from one of the existing hooks. Hooks, chains and drywall anchors come with the LEDs. I used 9 of the 10 fixtures that came with my order because the light from them was so much better than the old lights. My garage is a 3 bay, 32'x24', 750 square feet, with 11 foot ceilings.

I was looking for lighting for a 1500 sq ft workshop and 750 sq ft of office/lab space. From what I could find about lighting requirements, I needed about 1000 lumens/sq meter to make it as bright as I like to work with. I bought 30 of these lights to get started. So far I have set up 12 of them and am very impressed with the light. When I first opened the cartons, I was concerned that there was not packing material, other than the outer carton and individual cartons for each light. I found that, so far, all are working well after a 96 hour "burn-in" to see if there were any problems. Laying all twelve out on my workbench lit much of the space pretty well even though it was indirect lighting off the walls and ceiling. Looking down directly at the 48000 lumens was actually blinding, even from 20 feet away. The fact that you can tandem 4 of them on one outlet is very convenient. I haven't measured the actual light output, but as the box indicates, the power for each unit is about 40 watts (513 watts measured for 12). Update: I bought 30 more and have started installing them. Haven't found a single (even slightly) damaged unit or any lights that didn't come on the first time I plugged them in. Hardware packages have all been complete. I can't find anything Sunco couldn't have done better. UPS delivered the first order, USPS the second. Even with the minimalist packaging, they didn't manage to break anything.

Finally completed my garage renovations and had my new lighting installed this past weekend. My garage is attached and renovations included changes that also allow it to serve as a basement since my home is on a concrete slab. It is 1,004 square feet with cathedral ceilings. And of all changes made, my absolute favorite is removing those ugly, old, flickering and dull fluorescent ceiling fixtures and replacing them with these bright, non-flickering Sunco LED lighting fixtures! I replaced 11 old fluorescent fixtures with only 6 of these LED light fixtures and I am amazed and thrilled at the difference. Six of these LED fixtures give me SO much more light than the eleven old florescent lights - truly! I can see into every corner, into my washer & dryer and chest freezer - just everywhere! That includes cobwebs I could not see before and that are now cleaned and gone! No more flickering or humming and they are indeed instant on. I can't speak to their longevity, however, if they last those 50,000 hours, I'd say they are absolutely perfect. Plus, since I purchased 10, I have 4 spares - just in case! I HIGHLY recommend these Sunco LED lighting fixtures!!!

Much better than I expected I must admit. I have a new 30x40 shop with 10' walls and thought I'd try this pack of 10. Every one of them worked out of the box so I temporarily hung them with extension cords to see how many I would actually need. It appears 8, running parallel with the 30' wall instead of lengthwise, 4 rows of 2, provides plenty of light from 10'. Just finished tonight and I am quite pleased. The reflector portions are more of a downward broadcast of light. I did cut the cords and connected them to the lighting circuit in a box instead of a plugin. I thought about clipping off the chain but it's so short I doubt it will be an issue and who knows, I may get tired of having all this light and turn a few off with the chain.
