For a moderately priced griddle, this is definitely better quality. The handle is solidly attached and weighty, and the pan itself is thicker than most department store options - which works to better spread heat and limit warping.

I have been using this for a few months now and have to say I am very pleased so far. I have had such bad luck with griddles warping. This one seems to be made of good material that is thick enough to stand the heat changed without warping. Finger crossed it stays that way.

I like the weight of this griddle. I bought one from another store but it felt so flimsy that I took it back. This one has a good coating and even heat distribution.

This is the pan to get for stovetop frying/grilling. It's thicker than the others I have had. Doesn't feel like it will wrap in the middle. Has a solid handle that didn't get hot while I was frying though I didn't try it in the oven yet. Heat distribution was good on an electric stove. I am going to get the matching grill to go with the griddle. Large area for cooking on. 5 large size boneless pork chops fit with room for a 6th.

This is a high quality griddle. It's heavy weight, has an extremely durable finish, stay cool handle, and cooks evenly. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I actually purchased these pots and pans, and I did not receive any discounts or compensation for this review. I just felt a need to let everyone know that these pans are my all time favorites, and I just love these Cooks Standard pots and pans! I have been gradually replacing my T-Fal pots and pans with these Cooks pots and pans because the quality is so much better! The Cooks pans are a nice heavy gauge metal that has a beautiful non-stick coating. Even the rivets that attach the handle to the pans are non-stick coated! I also love the weight of them because I don't have to worry about them warping from the heat of standard cooking temperatures like my other pots and pans did. The handle feels smooth and substantial when you pick them up, and not paper thin. With all that said they feel like they weigh a little under twice as much as the other pans do, so if you have weak arm strength, you might want to stick with the other brand and just be careful about your cooking temperatures.

Really happy with this. heavy duty. would buy it again!

There is a world of difference between this griddle and the typical $10-15 version. Cooking is so much more even on a standard stove top burner, so the quality of output is much higher without having to rotate things around to get somewhat even cooking. Much frustration and extra effort is saved by this griddle. If you use a griddle frequently, don't hesitate to buy this over a cheaper version. You will not regret it If you don't use a griddle all that frequently, but have the funds to spend on premium items to make small improvements to your life, this is a winner in that situation also.

It heats evenly, cooks well, and appears to be durable and well made. We've had it one month and are making sure not to use it above heat level 5 on our glass cook-top.

What a fantastic pan! Just the right weight and perfect size. It's a excellent fit on my large electric stove coil and distributes heat evenly. It's large enough that I can grill bread and fix eggs at the same time.
