the "cubes" are about half the size of. what for me is, conventional ics cube tray. Thats OK because we now have twice as many trays (4). I use all the cubes in a tray in my 750ml water bottle every time. There are three adults living here and there is always at least one frozen tray available. The lids are important because the "new" tray goes on the bottom of the stack and the lid prevents the water from sloshing into the freezer. It takes a bit of practice to fill the tray without over-filling. Basically I over fill and then tilt out the excess water over the long edge of the tray. First on one side then the other.

I ordered these trays because I needed a different ice cube tray than I had. As a retired single male, my freezer is usually pretty full of frozen entrees and snack foods. There just wasn't any place to put my old open top ice cube tray. These are just the right size, and the lid allows me to stack other things on top of it. The soft bottoms make it easy to pop out a single cube, and the cube is just the right size to drop into a glass of Templeton Rye. They are also small enough to allow me to drop a couple into my vacuum water battle. Before, I had to put some water in the bottle and put it in the freezer to get ice in there. So far I have only used one tray, but I can see where it would be very easy to stack more than one if one needed more cubes available.

Our icemaker quit working and while it is still under warranty we are waiting for it's replacement. Buying bags of ice works, but having your own trays beats the alternatives. My husband and I just love these cubes. They are the perfect size and dense enough to last for hours in a glass of Ice Tea. Although we can choose the automatic ice dispenser, we will most certainly use the OMorc Ice Cubes. They pop out easily and 4 trays are always on the ready. So, buy them and enjoy what real ice cubes are like.

Awesome, love them. These trays are designed so that you can pop ice cubes out one at a time by pressing on the silicone bottom of each individual compartment. Perfect for my house where the kids never emptied the entire tray and refilled it anyway. I'd end up with empty ice trays and an empty ice bin in the freezer... Love it when they say "dad where's the ice". If you do want to empty the entire ice tray at once into a bin I would think it would actually be harder to empty this tray then the old-school plastic trays. Grabbing the two ends and twisting it won't really empty the tray, you need to press on the bottom of each cube individually. In any event, perfect for my needs but if you want to empty the entire tray at once go old-school. Maybe it's just the novelty of it but for whatever reason the kids will actually fill these. Just ordered another four pack and got rid of the ice bin in the freezer.

The trays with the flexible bottoms made a little smaller cube than the similar tray I'd purchased from WalMart, but since 4 of them come in the order and the fact that they have "covers" so can be filled a little more certainly made up for the difference. I'm VERY happy with them. As far as the one-star reviews go, apparently those users don't realize that you DO NOT twist the tray to free the cubes, that causes then to crack and break, you're supposed to press them out from the bottom and if you do that the trays should last for as long as you need them.

These ice cube trays really work as well as you hope they will! I have used them to make almond milk cubes for iced coffee drinks and smoothies. in my experience, letting the trays of frozen cubes sit out for about 45 to 60 seconds before beginning cube removal makes for a super easy (almost fun) cube harvesting! The quality of these trays is excellent. I was reluctant to make the purchase, fearing that the green flexible portion of the tray might be easily separated (torn or ripped) from the more rigid white plastic frame portion. Now that I have them, I feel you would have to try very hard and deliberately to ever make that happen. These ice cube trays are a fantastic value! Very high quality product at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend this item!

I bought these trays as part of a housewarming basket for my son's new apartment. I haven't used ice trays in quite a while, but these are a vast improvement over the ones I remember! The lids are a great idea for keeping the ice from absorbing other food flavors in the freezer and to stack without spilling or sticking together. Cannot rate the features, but the trays themselves seem sturdy, well designed and very user friendly.

I posted an initial negative review due to the ice trays breaking right away. They contacted me and sent full silicone replacement trays that work very well. I still wouldn't recommend the original product, but the company get's 5 starts for their customer service! actually more difficult to get ice out than traditional trays...small cubes...but didn't get much experience with it as it broke on the third set of ice cubes I made.

My husband is addicted to ice. When our ice maker went out in our freezer, we opted to use trays instead of spending the money to get the ice maker fixed. Cheap plastic ones did not last long with our frequent use; they soon cracked and became unusable. Enter this great product. They are sturdy and easy to use. The lids are a nice bonus for stacking. If you or someone you love is addicted to use, give these trays a try. You won't be disappointed. They're worth the extra pennies.

So far, so good. I like the fact that there are covers for each ice tray. Helps alot with prevention of spills and keeps the trays very neat and organized in the fridge. The cubes pop out of the trays very easily and I hope that after continued use, it stays that way. I've had trouble with ice trays causing the cubes to stick and making for a mess and pain in the (well you know). Time will tell with the continued use BUT so far, so good!
