For the price, it's pretty good for what it does. Plastic and lightweight. Plastic knobs and buttons. Any DJ worth his/her salt could definitely get the job done with it if they had to. Fits perfectly on a 13" macbook pro. Havent' tried it with Virtual DJ but it can probably be mapped to it if there isn't a mapping definition for it already. Works with Serato Intro out of the box. If you have the paid version of Serato DJ, that will work too. You can only "skratch" when a song is paused. When a song is playing, the jog wheels enter pitch bend mode. They are not touch sensitive. Basically, use it to scrub through a track when in pause mode or pitch bend when song is playing. No mic input. No split cue. Headphone output is fairly loud (only tested it in a quiet bedroom). Only 1/8" output for headphone, a separate 1/8" output for master. Bus powered from the usb jack, which is convenient. RCA to 1/8" plug and USB 2.0 cable (A-male to mini-B) were included.

It may be tiny, but it's perfect for travel. Since I use the full version of Serato with my Pioneer DDJ-SX2 controller, I went ahead and purchased the license for its use with the DJ2GO2 controller. If you're a beginner and just want to get your feet wet and test out the waters instead of diving in head first in a way more expensive controller, this unit is a must! Just the basics of being able to load tunes, cue, control pitch and even scratch (in pause mode) with the jog wheels is a steal at this price! The software pairs perfectly with this unit. If and when you're ready to graduate to the next level, then you can always keep this unit for taking with you on those airplane rides. Smaller than most laptops and fits perfectly in my laptop bag. I'm sure it will yours, too. GET THIS! You will NOT be disappointed.

Looks a lot nicer than the previous gen. I love the look of this unit. The flashing lights really make it look professional. I've been DJing for 25 years and have a Numark NS6 and NS7 II plus a Pioneer Wego3 that I use as my main units, but for premixing, house parties or family gatherings this is the best option hands down. I use it with a low end 11.6" windows laptop running a intel Atom x5 Z8300 processor and it works like a charm. A couple of things that I thought noticed is that it does not have a scratch mode, which would had been cool. Also Serato has just introduce a Serato Lite as appose to using Serato Intro. I noticed that Serato Intro works best with 720P or 1080 screens while Serato Lite works best with 4K screens. As others has mention there is no Mic input, EQ or effects on the unit. You can use the effects on the software though. Other than that for the money you cannot beat it.

I love this mini controller. I purchased it in March 2018 so I've had some time to play around with it and actually used it at two small gigs with no problem. It doesn't have all the features of a full size controller but the features that it does have are enough to rock a party where scratching is not necessary. It's also a great starter controller for dj's on a budget or just for practicing before you invest in a more expensive controller. Numark is known for making quality products and this controller is no exception. I was skeptical at first but I'm so glad I purchased it.

Took a little getting used to, and I'm not super-crazy about the software, but I've only been using it for a few weeks, so maybe I just need more practice. The one thing I do want to point out is that it's well-made and compact. It fits in a laptop bag and doesn't require much space. My only two critiques are (1) I wish the headphone jack and USB jack were in the center, either front or rear, because otherwise you are forced to set up your output on the left and your input on the right. Sometimes you don't have that option, like on a train or on your lap. (2) I don't like having to learn a new startup-order. Basically, you have to start the Serato software, THEN plug in the DJ2GO, THEN start your media manager. But it's a good unit and I think it's a great value.

Wow. this little thing is really cool. I've been a DJ for over 25 years. In my main rig I use a Denon DN-HC 5000 which works well but the set up is heavy. This is just what I was looking for small enough to stick in my back pack when I travel and can still DJ on the fly if I want too. Super happy with it.. Ohh BTW you can scratch with it. Seems to be dependent on the software you are using. I just upgraded to the latest version of PCDJ RED. I have ben using their software for a long time. Some fellow DJ's make fun of me but I just like it and it works great for me. Have fun and keep mixing! I would give this 10 stars if I could for the money.

This thing is awesome. Im officially a Newmark DJ all around. I say that because I have also owned the NS7ii, currently own the NS6ii and now the DJ2G02. I have used this little guy for about 5 small events so far that really dont require much. If you are looking for an inexpensive backup, or just a secondary mixer for small gigs, go for it! With everything you need to complete super basic DJing, you cant go wrong for the price. Every DJ should have one of these. So happy I bought it!

I was a little on edge when buying this item, there were some mixed reviews but I was buying it for my husband as a fathers day gift, hes not a DJ but loves to mix and I thought this would be perfect. IT IS! He really enjoys this little mixing board, it's nothing fancy but he has a lot of fun with it. You cannot scratch the song your actually playing but the song you have on pause can be messed with it. He can mix for hours and we all enjoy it! Overall great buy if your looking for a cool little mixer, would recommend it. Also about the serato program we never ran into any issues or had to upgrade, however he had the program already downloaded prior to the purchase. Dont know if that makes a difference.

Great for backup or ceremony use at a wedding or second setup at an event.

Please note that this will not replace any CDJs and Turntables. For the portability and price, you wont need anything else (except for a headphone and a small speaker). The software of this unit is FREE, and that is SERATO DJ INTRO. You need to pay PREMIUM when getting the more advanced SERATO DJ. This is a SUPER BASIC PORTABLE DJ CONTROLLER. For those who wanted something ON-THE-GO CONTROLLER and you want to play it while you are on a plane, this is it for you!
