Sleek, Sturdy and Professional

This monitor stand is perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted to use this stand on a small Desk. This stand holds a 2018 15" MacBook Pro with zero sagging or shaking. The cable management cut out is smooth with a plastic grommet so your cables don't fray. There are rubber standoffs to hold your notebook sturdily in place, there is no chance that your notebook will slip off. Having it lifted off the surface allows for ample airflow from the included cutouts. This stand allows my MacBook Pro to operate cooler, without having to use an additional fan as it's not sitting directly on a desk close to a wall. The stand allows air to escape as it's held higher and at an angle. I give this stand 5 stars as the color of the stand matches my notebook perfectly and I got exactly what I expected. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

Best Ventilation!!!

My boss switched me over from a Mac mini to a Macbook Air and I noticed after working off it for maybe 2-3hrs straight.. I could hear the internal fan running loudly! At this time I knew it was having issues with ventilation from sitting directly on my desk opened at a 90-100deg angle. I thought maybe it can’t be tucked away in the corner as I had it and needed to be more up in the air. We had a spare desk shelf that was probably 5-6” tall... didn’t help! I then did a quick google search on the location of the vents outlet and found this stand in the suggested searchs! I gave it a try and it has now been 9 or 10months with the MacBook on this stand and I have NOT ONCE heard the fans struggling! Definitely fixed my issue and worry I was slowly killing my company’s new MacBook!

Shocked At How This 'Elevates' The Experience!

I've never used a laptop stand before and have no other stand to compare this one to. But I've been working from my laptop for about 5 years. I had no idea what I was missing out on! This is heavenly. Last week bought a new 15 inch MacBook Pro, Space Grey - and this stand is perfect for it. I don't think anything you could add or take away from the stand could make it better. I can feel how it's engineered to conduct heat away from my MacBook and I'm sure this will extend the life of my machine. Other reviewers said the silicone pads on the stand were off-center, but that appears to have been fixed. Mine seem pretty dead-on. Other reviews have complained that the color is a mis-match from Apple's Space Grey, but I'm glad the stand is a bit of a darker grey than my MacBook. It adds texture. The two different shades compliment each other nicely. And the darker grey of the stand gives me more confidence that it's supporting my MacBook with industrious strength. So who cares if it's not a perfect match. Use it as a reminder that life comes in many shades, and it would be boring if it didn't.

Sturdy, Attractive Back-Saver

I am guilty of finding books throughout my home to stack on my kitchen island in order to save my back from the pain of hunching over my laptop as I edit photos or work on assignments/lesson plans. I recently had to purchase a new laptop, so why not upgrade my laptop accessories, too? • If you're wondering (like I was), yes, you can type on your laptop when it is on this stand. I am writing this whole review this way just to see how it goes. It IS sturdy enough for you to rest your hands on the laptop and type, but I have found out through using it that my kitchen island surface is not level (it bobbles around a bit as I type). If you're surface is level, this would be a much better experience (I did test out the stand on my countertop just to be sure, and the stand works perfectly on a level surface). • The stand is VERY sturdy and looks really nice. It's not a perfect match with the color of my laptop, but it's really close (I have the space grey color). It looks pretty seamless overall. The silicon pads appear to be placed very well, unlike other reviews I read before purchasing. Maybe they've fixed that issue. • For the price, I'd say that this stand is well worth it! It looks great and I can tell that it is going to save me from a lot of back strain. Since my island surface is not level, I may look into purchasing an external keyboard to go along with my external mouse. I think that would make the experience much more seamless, and more practical for when I need to type lesson plans or write papers for college classes. • For photo editing, when I rarely need to type, I wouldn't need to invest in a keyboard. For typing-intensive activities, I would recommend a keyboard to go along with it. Overall, I highly recommend!

A must have for habitual MacBook Pro users everywhere.

This computer and watch stand combo is exactly what the was missing in my life. You never really realize how important it is to raise a screen up to eye level until you actually do it.The rubber tabs are placed remarkably well and even come with replacements for both units. I never worry about my iPhone X or MacBook Pro sliding off and hitting the floor. Even when notifications come thru with intense vibrations. My laptop stays cool to the touch even during some long sessions using very intense programs like Final Cut Pro. I can and do honestly recommend this product without any hesitation. Hence the 5-star rating that I am giving.

Some things are better than the rain stand

I've had a rain stand and started a new job where I needed to buy another. I have a gray laptop, and I got the gray stand. The stand isn't EXACTLY the same color, but its very close. Pro: One thing I like better about this stand than the Rain stand is that the vents are much bigger and the stand is still sturdy. Con: Only con really is that the rubber bumper holding up the laptop near the trackpad is a little big and off color, and looks a little weird. However, works fine.

Sturdy and "Purdy

Great piece of equipment. This thing is sturdy and ADDS to the esthetics of my desk. It has a cable management hole in the base for routing cables from behind and into a dock just underneath the platform. I don't use it for that as I prefer my equipment out of site. The platform channel holes are cut in triplicate for great ventilation beneath your laptop. I currently have a 15" laptop on it that fits perfectly. The construction is as such that it hides everything on the desk behind it which is really an added bonus for me as I have a raid enclosure that would ordinarily be unsightly. This is very well built. It will last you until such time as laptops are no longer a thing.

Works & Looks Great, Tons $$ Cheaper Than a Separate Monitor & Don't Lose TouchID - Buy This!

Just having the screen elevated a bit, with some room for keyboard & touch pad below, makes a world of difference and I'm no longer interested in getting a separate monitor, vertical stand, etc...plus I'll still have the TouchID feature right in front of me. The "Gray" stand also matches perfectly with the 2016 MacBook Pro "Space Grey". Altogether looks great on the desk, fantastic product.

One of Those Things You Don't Know You Need.

There is not much to say about the performance of the Bestand products that I picked up. They work exactly as I would have expected them to. They are constructed very well and the laptop stand does help dissipate some of the heat from under my MacBook Pro. I use a Beats Pill bluetooth speaker and it fit nicely underneath the laptop while still providing plenty of room for my separate Apple keyboard to slide in if I need it out of the way. What I really most enjoy about the stand is that way it helps clean up my workspace. I have a small area to work in and this has made that space more accessible and aseptically pleasing. This may not be a bid concern of yours, and to be honest I didn't realize how big it was for me until I got this stand. I use an aluminum mouse pad and this stand goes with it perfectly as if made to do so. If your looking for a laptop stand, this one is really great. If your not, maybe you should be.

Happily Surprised!

I have a 15" MacBook Pro & looked at numerous LapTop stands before purchasing this one, even though it was higher in price. I quickly discovered it is WORTH it! It's wide enough, very sturdy and high in quality on all points which, along with functionality, matter most to me. This type of item depends largely on personal preference so I'm just saying that for ME, it is PERFECT!
