Such an essential tool nowadays. So many times I have been on a shoot and then I am slowed down with the urge or request to capture one on the phone. It gets old and it takes away from the shoot. And with shooting RAW it is not always the fastest way to get a pic to a mobile phone. It is now an essential to my camera bag. Bypassing the laptop all together is so nice for sharing shots with models, family, and of course social media. The need for no app is major! For me, this means I can import to friends phones and other Apple devices without needing the app first. DOPE!

Life/time saver! I recently purchased a Canon DSLR which I adore, but the process of transferring my photos and videos over to my phone was a pain. I took some time to do some research on products that would make this process more efficient and I came across the SD card reader that is compatible with iPhones. I knew I needed this product but I did not want to dish out a ton of money. I came across the GOLDFOX SD Card Camera Reader and decided to purchase. It was delivered promptly, it is super handy and literally one of my favorite products. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a quick and easy way to transfer images and videos to your phone. Overall this is a great product that won't break the bank.

What's not to love? I opened the package, inserted a card in the slot, then pushed the lightning tab into the charger slot on my iPh6, and in less than 3 seconds, was reading the card. I have an OtterBox Defender on my phone - No issues. I've seen similar products in stores, sold with game cameras for 3x the $$ and terrible reviews. Looking forward to reading cards on my far-away game cameras, rather than swapping cards out and waiting hours to see the photo of the animal that just walked by....or hiking with my laptop. Great product, great deal, 'nuff said.

I thought about purchasing a new DSLR camera but loved my current model

I travel frequently and always with my DSLR, but transferring photos has not been possible since my camera does not have wifi. When I return home from a trip, I share several photos but always wanted to share them as I wrote about my experiences. This card reader is a real gem. Within seconds, I transfer the photos I want to share to my iPad and instantly, they are ready to share. I thought about purchasing a new DSLR camera but loved my current model. Now I am so happy that I have saved hundreds of dollars with the easy to carry compact device. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

Amazingly easy to use!

I love this card reader! It works so easily with my iPhone, just plug and play. I even was able to use it on the bus to an event, to empty my camera's card to my phone. I never expected it to be this easy. Just plug in with your card and it opens to a screen that lets you select and move photos. No additional app, no confusing interface, just plug, select to move, and you're done! (As long as you have enough free space on your device!)

No compatibility issues at all

Ive purchased a few of these from different brands and its so hit and miss on if they are going to work or not. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont read the card, sometimes they actually ruin the photos on the card. NOT THIS ONE. I've tried appx 6 different sd cards (micro and normal) and all from different brands, EVERY single one of them have worked flawlessly in this thing. It's so amazing.

An indispensable piece of equipment!

With such limited space on Apple devices, memory real estate comes at a PREMIUM. Pros: 1.) Very small, sleek design. 2.) Instant data transfer, move photos to or from iPhone immediately. 3.) Fast transfer speeds! 4.) High quality materials. It’s an aftermarket product but feels like Apple themselves made it. 5.) Has marking showing exactly how to load SD card so you don’t damage the prongs. 6.) Super easy to use, it’s just plug and play. You’ll see another section under your photos that says “import.” That is your SD card. It couldn’t be simpler! Cons: 1.) My ONLY conplaint is that it doesn’t have a smaller slot for micro SD card, in case you don’t have an adapter. The device however, works beautifully and exactly as it should. With all of the photos I take on my iPhone as well as my camera, this has been a godsend to free up precious space! Or if you have photos that you simply want to make a copy of so they stay safe, this is perfect to use for that. Quick and efficient! AAA product; if you own an iPhone, you HAVE to buy this, its piece of mind.

Leave the laptop at home...

Recently went to Europe with my wife and wanted to keep the camera bag light. Brought the necessities, and a 15" laptop was NOT one of them! iPad mini, SD-card reader for iPad, camera gear. Definitely a bit slower than the laptop transfer... But plan for it and it's nothing to worry about. I would plug in a card at night and let it upload to Lightroom CC while I slept. Wake up, remove the card, pop it back in the camera and we're good to go! I always have backup cards with me, but only once did I have two filled and the third in the camera. I stopped at the room before going to dinner and transferred one card. Transferred the second card over night and was good to go by morning. This little adapter saved me from worrying about traveling with another expensive device and took a bit of load off the bag. Highly recommended! I might actually use it a bit more than that now. When I'm out shooting wildlife and want to upload images immediately to make sure they are backed up, I can do it in the car between locations. Never would have thought to bring the laptop in the field with me. But I always have a phone on me and the iPad fit's right in my small camera bag that it just makes sense.

It just works.

Went on vacation and decided to leave my computer at home and just take my iPhone and iPad. This little adapter (which Apple should include with the iPad!) makes it functional to download photos from my travel zoom camera quickly and easily and post them on social media. (that's why we take photos now, right?) Anyway, buy this and ditch carrying that 5lb notebook on your next vacation.

WOW - super fast and inexpensive

This came the next day, and worked right out of the box. Excellent price point too. No worries about using this, it worked first time, and EVERY time since.
