Cheap and good!

Works Great! I struggled with this purchase because, like most, I want to have the best of everything. But after i used this two things happened. First of all the product worked very well. Then i thought about the concept. My metal detector already found the coin. All this did was locate it in the dirt that I dug. You just do not need anything more than this. The biggest difference in this one and an expensive one is simply the price. Its just a simple tool. So don't beat your head on the wall over buying something so simple. These work great.

Fantastic Pin-Pointer for the price!

Thank God I didn't guy the more expensive model that this unit was built to imitate. I'm getting a good 3-4" detection signal nearly every time on various metals in the ground. I took it out for the first time yesterday and it worked beyond my expectations. The small LED light is bright and sheath is not bad either. The snap on the sheath (belt loop) did pop off a few times while in the field, so tossed it in my pack and kept the pin-pointer at the ready in a cargo pants-pocket loop. No biggie for me. Not sure if the negative reviews here for just from the high-end gear lovers, or the earlier models where not as sensitive...I can say that what I received was a very sensitive pin-pointer that I would buy again in a heartbeat!

A real money-saver (compared to Garrett) and works great

I had already purchased a Garrett pin pointer for my oldest grandson. Its works great of course, but the price was painful. Then a younger grandson was ready to go metal-detecting and was needing a pin pointer also. So I tried this Kuman device, which is an obvious imitation, but it was significantly cheaper than the Garrett and works just as well (plus it has an LED light). I had to supply and install the batteries in the Kuman (the Garrett came with batteries and ready to go), but at this cost savings it was well worth it. I'm 100% pleased with my decision to make this purchase.

Very good quality and at a reasonable price

I order this pinpointer to point the object more specifically, I have another big metal detector to define the area of research! and frankly I am surprised that it is really precise! it help me find a lot of interesting thing. It comes with a storage bag that can be attached to the belt, to avoid losing it during a search! also thanks to fluorescent orange color that it is difficult to lose it^^ it need a 9V battery which is not provided, you need use yours. when looking for metal, it will vibrate and beep, and the closer you get to the metal object, the vibration will be stronger, the same, beep will get faster and faster. which make it possible to locate the object precisely! PS: it have a small led that can help in the dark corner. very good quality and at a reasonable price, recommend it!

This works great!! what ever you do don't let it get in the water, I accidently dropped mine in the water at the beach and it started to go crazy I couldn't use it for 2 days I took the battery out and let it dry completely and now it's back to working fine again.

It just works!

I just started metal detecting and after watching several videos understood that it was very important to own one of these pinpointers. So far it has been a lifesaver when it comes to digging up small coins or any other small pieces of metal. Honestly I have no idea how anybody found anything before these things were around. The metal detector will pinpoint down to a certain area but once you dig up a big clump of dirt it's not always so easy to find a Coin that's been buried for years and now matches the same color as the dirt itself. The pinpointer is well made feels good in the hand and works as advertised. The sheet that comes with it is also well built and very sturdy. I have never used any of the higher-priced ones however this one seems to do the job just fine. As stated it is not completely waterproof so that might be a showstopper for some of you that are going to use it in rivers or lakes and so forth. The LED light in my opinion is absolutely useless and I'm really not sure what it's for with the exception of making sure it's on when you're using it. I would highly recommend for anyone starting out as a great economical choice.

I wanted to buy this product for such a long time and then I lost a pair of earrings in the house in between the floorboard in the wall and couldn’t find them this one located them we found them repaired the floor it’s great for finding studs in the wall electrical but I am waiting more anxiously to take it to the beach
