I am very impressed with the fantastic performance of this cleaner! The tarnish disappeared from the silver pieces, and the gold jewelry glistens like new. Even the costume jewelry has a nice sparkle - although it seems the finer the jewelry, the better the results. I use the cleaning solution, always use the "degas" functions, and change the water out for each batch I clean. Jewelry that hadn't been cleaned for decades came out beautifully.

I researched all the models in this price range and functionality, and I read buyers' pros and cins, before I settled on this unit. It is attractive, wel-designed, not very heavy, and cleans up nicely after use with just a few swipes with a paper towel. I bought the cleaning concentrate rather than use a few drops of detergent or plain water, which both work. Seems to work best. I cleaned my wife's jewelry, my watch band using the supplied watch bridge or accessory, and then, a pair of glasses with a few days of accumulated fingerprints, smudges, body oils and green mold under the nose pads. Everything was cleaned, and the jewelry lustre was rejuvenated. The surprise was how well the ultrasonic waves cleaned the lenses of my glasses, but took additional 90 second cycles to completely remove the green mold. The holding basket seems to be well-made for durability. The unit does emit some nois from slight vibration when in operation, but it is normal and not objectionable. I really rate any product 5-stars, but this product earned them.

Ever stood over your sink, painstakingly scrubbing your jewelry with a baby toothbrush until you wanted to pretty much swear off jewelry? Ever have so many pieces of jewelry to scrub you kinda wanted to scream (or actually did)? This was me. And this machine is the answer. I can't believe how well it works. I love love love that I dump stuff in this thing, push a button, and walk away. It's the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer for jewelry. My wedding ring looked as sparkly clean as it does when I take it to the jeweler and they steam clean it. I cleaned my neighbor's wedding ring and she almost cried, she hadn't seen it look so nice in such a long time. Her ring needed a little help from a toothbrush after running it through the machine twice, which some really dirty things will. I put her glasses and sunglasses through it and she exclaimed, "how did I not know how dirty these things were?!" after putting her glasses back on. I've run my Fossil watch and my glasses through this with amazing results. My glasses have never been so clean! Spots that I couldn't get off the lenses with liquid spray cleaner and a cloth came off in this machine. I also love putting earrings through this. I have 3 holes in each ear and often wear something in all 6; I have a lot of CZ/sterling silver posts and it's so nice to run all of them through one cycle and rinse them off instead of having to scrub each little one by hand. I've been using this with the Blitz Gem & Jewelry Cleaner Concentrate (also purchased on here) and often use much less than what the label states with awesome results. Buy this if you have a decent amount of jewelry and hate cleaning it as much as I did. Buy it if you're an everyday glasses and/or watch wearer. And definitely buy it if you would much rather spend you time NOT bent over, scrubbing your wedding ring with a baby toothbrush, wishing they made self-cleaning jewelry.

I ordered this because my husband really wanted one to clean our rings and glasses. He was the first one to use it, and I really wish I had taken before and after pictures. Our rings and eye glasses came out super clean. With one drop of dish detergent we had sparkly diamonds and damn near sanitized lenses. You may have to run the machine more than once if you have particularly dirty items. No biggie though because each cycle is like 20 seconds. One reviewer mentioned that this is somewhat of a pain to use because the metal insert does not come out. For us, this was not a problem. We just dumped out the water in the sink. The machine is small enough that it is easy to maneuver . If you are worried about residue just wipe out with paper towel after use.

To be fair, the ultrasonic cleaner didn't get the pieces shown in these pictures this clean without some elbow grease from me and a soft toothbrush to polish up the detail work, but without this handy dandy gadget, there is no way I could have gotten them as clean as I did. With heavily tarnished silver pieces, I have found that it may take a few cycles in the machine to really get the desired effect. I pair any jewelry cleaning with the iSonic UltraSonic cleaning solution, which appears to be just a concentrated detergent, and then sit back in amazement. When cleaning other items, just using water has been sufficient. I was skeptical that a $38 machine could really do all of the things advertised (glasses, jewelry, etc), but I've now tried this machine to clean almost everything, included eyeglasses, watches, rings, even my retainer (I know, gross), and it does work miracles. I like the fact that there are various time settings - 180 seconds works for minimally dirty pieces, but I have used up to 480 seconds at a cycle for heavily tarnished sterling silver pieces, followed by another 480 seconds of the degas button. The great thing about this machine is that unless you are using the wrong cleaning solution l in it, you can't do it wrong.

Used this as soon as it arrived! EASY to understand and use. Simply used water since the pieces to be cleaned weren't horribly dirty. Can't believe I never bought one of these a long time ago, Everything looks like it just came from the jewelry store. Since I have a friend whose jewelry always looks dingy, I plan to clean all of her pieces then give her one of these as a gift. Have always been a jewelry lover, so this is perfect for me. Now I also wear glasses all the time, and never get them quite clean enough. Tomorrow the glasses go in! After that boxes full of coins I need to scan for any of special value. Having this UKOKE will make them easier to read and much nicer to handle. This is just a great little piece of equipment1

I bought this for my wife, and she’s been really surprised by how well it cleans her precious stone gold, and platinum rings, watches, necklaces and other jewelry. She works for a large jewelry chain and I think she’s a qualified and discerning judge of quality in a cleaner. The cleaner works on everything from diamonds to ink the heads on your printer. She usually brings her jewelry to the store for cleaning, but now says she won’t need to any longer. As with most uktrasonic cleaners like this, it’s NOT FOR TANZANITE. We ruined a large and expensive stone doing this, so I thought it might be worth mentioning. It’s not however a flaw in this product.

Wonderful jewelry cleaner. I love the size as it fits perfectly on my bathroom counter. Used it for the first time this morning and my jewelry has never looked this shiny and new. LOVE IT!

I use ultrasonic cleaners at work to clean very small machine parts and also to degas solutions that I mix (I'm a Biochemist eye disease researcher) and have found them to be very effective at work so I thought why not try one at home for cleaning my jewelry etc! I've been married for 14 years and have never gotten my wedding rings professionally cleaned. They were completely gross. It's pathetic that I let them get so bad, but there you have it. My engagement ring is a cathedral setting of the solitaire with 5 smaller diamonds set on either side. It's beautiful and I love it, but it gets dirty very easily because the solitaire is so exposed from every angle and because there are so many nooks and crannies where gunk can get stuck and hide. Anyway, here's what I love about this cleaner: SIZE - This is a very compact unit and is really easy to store under a sink or in a cabinet because it has a very small footprint, but it has a large enough capacity to handle all sorts of jobs! EASY - This cannot be overstated. Just because I'm a scientist doesn't mean I like reading instructions and spending hours setting things up and figuring them out. If anything I have LESS patience for that than the average person. I had this up and running within 3 minutes of taking it out of the box for the first time! The interior baskets it comes with are also very helpful. The instructions are clear (in english) and very easy to follow! I really love things that are both effective and idiot-proof! VERSATILE - I love that this can be used for so many different applications besides jewelry like for cleaning coins, dentures, electric shaver attachments, glass or ceramic objects, SAFE - If you're worried about this thing damaging delicate jewelry (with the exception of pearls, jade or emeralds), rest at ease. It is completely safe and gentle. I've used ultrasonic cleaners to clean things MUCH more delicate and sensitive than jewelry at work. FAST/QUIET - You could literally use this cleaner daily if you wanted. The times are measured in seconds! And it's very quiet during operation. QUALITY - This cleaner is very well made using quality materials. Nothing about it feels cheap to me and I think it will last a long time! IT WORKS - This is the most important part, right? I ended up putting 3 rings in for the longest cycle on my first try and they were VASTLY improved afterward! My tougher, nastier rings seemed to need another cycle so I ran them through again and they were even better! I could still see some gunk, but it looked like it had all come to the surface of the white gold or stainless steel (flower ring) and I got out a pin and was able to easily scrape away the gunk leaving them shiny and clean and looking like new! One of my pictures shows the tank after cleaning my rings and you can see all the gunk in the bottom that came out! Amazing. I think my results would be even better with the addition of "detergent" as mentioned in the instructions. However, what isn't mentioned in the instructions is what kind of "detergent" to use. This word means different things in different places and settings. For example, "detergent" in biochemistry has a very different meaning for me than when I'm filling my role as home maker. What am I supposed to put in with my rings? Laundry detergent? Dish soap? Hand soap? Special solution specifically made for cleaning jewelry? How much do I add? I had no idea, and I was too afraid to put something in that would ruin it. A quick Google search afterward told me that I could use a little dish washing liquid, but it would really be nice if the instructions were more specific about running a detergent cycle. My only other complaint is that this unit does not allow you to adjust frequency, only time. 42,000 Hz is more than enough to get the job done safely, but I always like having the option to adjust frequencies. These minor quibbles are not worth deducting a star over though. I'm a big fan so far! I can highly recommend this for all sorts of uses. Hope this helps.
