**If this review helped you, please click "helpful"** I will admit - for the price I didn’t expect much. Every other hair piece I found similar to this was much more expensive but I took a risk and purchased this piece in light brown and medium brown. I am so happy I did! Pictured is the light brown color which will be perfect as my hair lightens in the summer time. The medium brown is still in the way. I just put my hair in a messy ponytail and secure this around it with screw pins.

Easy to use, natural looking accessory.

I love this thing! I have shoulder length, baby fine hair and am hopeless at styling hair. I can't even get a bobbypin to stay in my hair. All I did with this was first used a regular ponytail holder to make a mini "bun;" then used twisted this twice over the top of the other ponytail holder. A little hairspray to keep everything where I wanted it an it was good to go. It stayed in place during an all day outdoor excursion to RenFest and I used it at a semi-formal function that took place both indoors and outside in bright sunshine. It drew many compliments from people who did not realize it was not my actual hair.

I have a medium shade of red hair that gets natural blonde highlights in summer. I bought this because I am busy and going to work with wet hair every morning. I work in a professional setting and cannot look like a gutter rat. Now I can throw up a bun and look like I have my life together.

Having thin, fine, pin-straight hair makes it impossible to pull off cute "messy bun" styles, but this piece makes is absolutely perfect! I get at least 1 compliment every time I wear it. I would only caution those that need to loop it around your ponytail twice (like myself, due to my normal hair being so darn thin) it will start to get ratty far quicker than if you only loop 1x. Thus far, my solution(s) have been to carefully maintain it between uses, or to make my own ponytail large enough that 1 loop + pins will suffice. ***EDIT/UPDATE*** As with some of the other reviews, if you “twist” the piece too much when you put it on or remove it, hair will start to come loose and eventually fall out. Obviously, you can tell by the price point that these are not gonna last you years, they’re kinda...disposable? But if you’re careful, a couple months with regular use is totally doable. Also, a little hint to get the hair looking a bit more natural, and not so synthetic and shiny (I find the shininess is the easiest way to spot a fake) I just sprayed a bit of dry shampoo on it and shook it out a little. Just use sparingly as you don’t want it to get a white cast. If that happens, use a *tiny* spritz of leave-in conditioner or spray oil/frizz serum. Hope that helps!

I LOVE this!! I will buy a dozen more if my current one starts to wear down. I’ve had it about two weeks now and wear it every day and you can’t tell that it’s not my hair. Once a year or so I dye my medium golden brown hair with a darker brown and it tends to fade and turn colors from a combination of my hair’s natural tendency to turn blonde and the red that’s in brown hair dye and this has matched my “funky” color PERFECTLY! I have almost waist long, thin, fine hair that I struggle to keep looking nice and being a single mom with a full time job and commute, I can keep my messy bun style and add this and it’s flawlessly seamless. People cannot tell that it’s not my real hair and I’m getting compliments every day. Both pics have my hair in it so you can see how brilliantly it blends in with the extension (with and without flash - my hair is a little kinky as I’ve had a messy bun with the extension in). Quality is phenomenal and I’d definitely buy again. It’s worth every penny!!

This thing is GREAT. Pull my hair into a pony (my hair is medium length, so a pony on top of my head is only 2-3 inches long) then slap this sucker right over it. Looks natural, a good color match and looks like HAIR. Got soooooooo many compliments. Couldn't be more pleased.

I use this when I get up in the morning (or anytime ;-) and don't have time to style my hair. As other reviewers have mentioned, it has some amazing ability to blend with your hair. It's not too shiny to look real, and not one time have I had anyone question it's authenticity, and I work at a high school lol. When I pulled it straight up on top of my head, a lady at church asked me if I had been to a wedding or something and had an updo. I really like it and was absolutely worth the price to have a simply hair style that looks nice and stylish.

These are really cute!!! I bought two in different shades of brown just to make sure I got a match. The dark brown is darker than I thought but I will use that one in the winter. Very comfortable and takes seconds to put on!!

The fibers are heat defiant!

I originally wasn’t happy with it because it was super curly and didn’t look natural against my pin straight hair. I took a chance and took my straightening iron to it on medium heat, and it didn’t melt! The fibers are heat defiant! A lot of people say it’s messy and rats nesty, but it’s fine if you carefully comb through it. Find the pieces that belong together, and comb through those portions, one at a time. It also looked much less messy after I straightened the pieces.
