Honestly, I love this cord. I went into a panic because the 2nd day I owned my lovely labradoodle puppy she destroyed my surface pro cord. This happened to coincide with midterms and two of my course books were on the computer. The Microsoft website said they were out of stock of charging cables so I came on here. I got the cable within 48 hours (yea it wasn't in time for midterms, but it still fast and not their fault). I love it because it is extra long and that is usually needed to find a plug around places in school and in public areas. It is also helpful at home since I no longer have a desk. My puppy hasn't even destroyed this one. Thanks a lot!

2nd UPDATE: When the wall plug did not arrive as promised, customer service volunteered to send ANOTHER complete charger. So I now have two working chargers and a wall plug (and another that seems hung up in shipping from China). It's hard to complain, so I went ahead and bumped this review to 5 stars. UPDATE: After complaining, customer service offered to ship the wall plug to me and apologized profusely for not doing so the first time. I've upped the rating by one star, but still have no idea how long this will last. My Microsoft SP 4 eats up battery charge like crazy so I tend to keep it hooked up to the charger as much as possible. I suspect others do to, which may explain the short life of even the Microsoft-branded charger (it gets dragged around from place to place, which is probably hard on the connections). When my charger died, I replaced it with a Kingdo version, which seemed very nice, but didn't last a year. Based on comments from people trying to get a warranty replacement, I skipped that and decided to try another brand--this KJ-KayJI branded model. The charger is indeed labeled KJ-KayJI, but the box it came in said: "Thanks for buying a Kingdo product", so I guess I fell for the rebranding trick. The Kingdo version is still on sale. The carrying case is different. This one has a 1 year warranty, too; who knows if that works. In any case, I plugged in my SP4 and it's charging, so it seems to work. The wall plug, which is not that important to me, was missing. I complained on principle as it is clearly shown in the photos and described in the accompanying text. The response was that they would NOT send me the missing part, but would be happy to have me buy ANOTHER product of theirs for a $2 discount. This is not quality customer service.

I love this little package. it was lost via ups but when it arrived I used it and it works great with my surface pro 4. The reason I purchased was because I have the original in my office to charge during the day but hate to unplug each night and carry it home. This little package has all that I will need to take with me when traveling and to keep at home. Great idea that is the reason for the 5 stars. worth the price also

When the charger to my 2 month old Surface Laptop developed a split (still not sure how...I might have caught it in a drawer), I was not very happy. A new OEM version from Microsoft is like $70. When I saw this one for less than half that price, I was more than a little nervous to try it. After all, if you damage a new $1400 laptop by using a different brand charger, you're S.O.L.. Anyway, after reading the reviews and checking the voltage, wattage, amperage, and polarity very carefully, I decided to try it. It works perfectly! Absolutely no difference from the original, except that this one is MUCH longer, which is awesome!! If you need a new charger for your Surface Laptop, get this one.

I just got this today. Shipping was fast and it works with my 2017 Surface Pro and it comes packed in a small case so it's easy to carry around. I wanted an extra charger to keep on me in case I run low on battery while I'm away at work or away from home. This serves the purpose and that's all I care for, I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's perfect, compact and fits perfectly in my bag.

This weighs almost nothing compared to the brick that comes with the original surface book 2. It’s also a great price compared to the $200 one from Microsoft. It comes with an attachment to plug the brick piece straight into the wall so your cord isn’t too long and dangling everywhere on the floor where it can get dirty. If you need to make it longer you can do so with the provided one. I lost my original cable at school and bought this one and it came the next day. Very quick! Which is great because I have homework to do everyday. I will update on how long it lasts and the durability as I take it to school everyday.

First, my original charger that came with the Surface Tablet quit charging and the white indicator would just blink. I knew the Tablet was still OK as the Surface Dock would charge it just fine. I purchased this charger and after arrival proceeded to hook everything up for a first charge. YES it works and after charging for a good 15 minutes or so I reached over to touch and see if it was getting hot. It was surprisingly cool which I think is good. My original used to get quite warm and my suspicion is that is why it failed. So far this new one is working perfectly and my suspicion is it will continue to do so due to it running so cool. My experience is that electronics and heat don't mix well.

This past Thursday morning, my Surface Pro 3's charger stopped working. I checked the manufacturer's web site but was unpleasantly surprised by both the overwhelmingly poor reviews and the high cost for the replacement charger they offered. I logged on to Amazon and saw a large number of choices for significantly less money (and mostly better reviews). I decided to purchase the Kingdo 44W charger based primarily on the overall excellent reviews by verified purchasers and by the company's responses to customer questions which showed a commitment to customer service. My replacement charger showed up Saturday morning (today) well ahead of the NLT 8 pm promised delivery time. I expected to receive the charger in a plastic bag shipped in a manila padded packaging envelope (like many other small electronics items I purchase). It was in a manila shipping envelope but inside was a sturdy product box (like you'd find on a store shelf) and inside that was a nicely made fabric pouch containing the charger and cords. The cords were neatly wrapped with attached velcro ties and I believe the pouch will make carrying the charger/cords, in my laptop bag when I travel, much neater and also easier to pack. I unwrapped the cords, attached the charger to my SP3, plugged it in, and it worked just fine. The charging indicator light came on, the charging process registered on my SP3 and within a short time (I didn't time it), my computer was fully charged. So that very positive but short initial experience is what this review is based on. Hopefully, the charger will last a long time and based on the packaging quality and overall appearance of the product, that's what I expect. The charger also came with a wall plug-in attachment, so you don't have to use the cord, but I haven't tried that and don't see a need for it at the present time. I guess if something happened to the cord, it would be a good backup to enable plugging in the charger. One more detail: All the product descriptions I read on Amazon only mentioned the I5 and I7 Surface Pro 3 models. I have the I3 which came with a 41W charger. I went with this 44W charger and as I've described above, it's working perfectly so far (one day).

I bought the latest surface pro model about a month ago for work and it has been awesome! However, I left my charger at a job site and when I went back to get it, someone had already taken it. I looked online for a replacement and couldn't believe that the charger alone was $100 at Best buy. I did some quick research and found this and decided to give it a try. I ordered this Friday evening and it came to my door on Sunday, wow! When I opened the package, the charger came with a cool looking carrying case, which is something I wasn't use to before, but a great idea, so my charger cable is not just stuffed in my computer bag. The quality of this charger is every bit as nice as the one that came with the surface pro originally! In fact, the fact that it comes with a case, and an extra attachment, I would argue that it's even better than the original. So glad I did more research and I would recommend this charger to anyone and everyone!

After our puppies chewed our original cord connector the 1st we got our surface pro 3, it’s been breaking apart more and more, now it gets really hot and gets the tablet charging part super hot too during charge. So we decided it’s finally time to get a new replacement, so we don’t get shocked by exposed eclectics or something. I looked through whole Amazon tried to pick the best one to replace the original charger. After reading lots of reviews on all the chargers that says can be used for surface pro 3, I decided to get this one. The price is acceptable, actually a bit more expensive than lots of other ones I saw that are also with 4 stars and up ratings, but this is the only one without bad review saying it breaks in ... weeks/months, or has connecting problems etc. Other charges all have 1 star review(s) saying theirs broke after couple weeks or months of use even tho they are overall with 4 stars and up ratings, which made me worried and didn’t wanna risk the troubles. Here are pictures I took of it after getting it in mail, and showing you the comparisons with the original charger. As you can see it’s a bit bigger and has much longer cord. So far so good, it’s working exactly like my original one, working as great as it should, fast charging, easy plugin, no disconnects. I’m very satisfied with this charger! I’d recommend this to anyone especially those who can’t decide which one to get like I was lol... Also, I’ll update if it somehow stops working or there’s any problems occur, if there’s no updates, then it means it’s working great like it should!
