I knew I would love the looks of this mat, what I didn't realize was how well it was made. It is like a nicer, prettier, anti-fatigue material (much like what is used in salons or restaurants). It measures the size of a queen mattress & looks more like an upscale (easy to clean!) rug rather than a "baby mat". Could not be more impressed with the look, the price, or the delivery speed! Thank you for making something to keep my twins safe!

I purchased two of these because I have a toddler and because I'm also expecting another baby in a few weeks. Let me start by saying how much research I have done, just like you, if you're going through product reviews and opinions. I've owned several mats, but they were all hand-me-downs and it was finally time for us to purchase our own mats for our kids. I considered purchasing LG, Parklon, Alzip, and also looked at other Korean brands, but all of them were quite pricy and I personally did not see the importance of spending fortunes on a baby play mat. Of course, there are very important things to consider like, whether the product is eco-friendly, whether it contains any harmful chemicals or not, quality, durability, and so on, but I'm glad that I purchased this play mat because it is all that I want it to be and contains nothing I do not want in the play mat. Let me talk about the design, I really wanted to go with the Busy Farm and the Letters & Numbers one, but later decided to go with 2 Country Town mats instead. The reason why is because I have owned other play mats and one thing that I realized about mats is that you can get really sick of all the busy designs after time passes. However, the Country Town design is nice and green, bright, very neutral and comfortable for the eyes, so I definitely recommend this design to anyone looking for a mat that will go with any household interior. Another point I would like to make is, play mats are not just for protecting your children from impacts and falls, but also for sanitary purposes if you live in an apartment with carpeted floors. To me, this was the biggest reason why I needed to use play mats. Hardwood floors are easier to clean, but carpeted floors contain so many "unseen" germs and bacteria, that I did not feel comfortable having my toddler run around and play on the carpet area. Finally, last but not least the mat is very easy to clean and did not have that nasty chemical smell when I first opened the package after receiving the item. If you're looking for a good play mat with a good price and fun designs, this is for you. Trust me, after time passes, you won't get much out of an expensive play mat as they all get worn out.

Elegant and high quality. 6 month old outgrew her activity mats and was ready to roll farther and began rocking on all fours....she needed a space to build her mobility skills. I got this along with the gray/white play pen and it’s so classy! So much that we are okay with it in our great room. I can contain her (without having to childproof my entire house,) but she has a “mini room” & can be amongst the rest of the family while we cook, clean, etc. Some research has suggested that game rooms and playrooms don’t get used since babies and children would rather be with their families and not exiled to a lonely part of the house. Now you can minimize the clutter and know your child is safe. I still use a monitor & it works well. Plus, it’s SO easily to clean when she spits up. No harsh chemicals needed, I use her organic bottle cleaning soap and water mixed together in a spray bottle.

We purchased this playmat to go along with the matching Baby Care playpen for our two Shih Tzu puppies. The mat is really cute and looks nice with the blue/white playpen. The blue color of the mat is not an exact match of the color of the playpen (see photos), but it doesn’t look bad together. I like that this mat is waterproof. My puppies have designated areas where they are supposed to pee/potty, but sometimes they miss or have accidents. Whenever my puppies have any accidents, I don’t have to worry about my floors getting damaged because the mat protects my floors from any damage. The mat does have small engraved lines/strips, which sometimes gets annoying when you are cleaning, I would have been awesome if the mat was completely flat and smooth. If you are planning on purchasing this playmat for your pets, I would recommend purchasing the blue polka dot design (or any other light colored mat) because it will be much more easier to see any messes/accidents (urine, etc). Overall I do like this mat, and would recommend it.

It is helpful to know the credentials of the reviewers from my perspective regarding any products that could affect your health. Both my wife and I work in health care field and we are particularly cautious and knowledgeable of any products that could be harmful to our children. First, the fact that the product is from South Korean and passed the European and Australian Toy safety standards has assure the safety for my children. Secondly, chemical smell other reviewers mentioned were minimal or very insignificant if any. Third, small surface area body parts like elbow or knees DO left an indention or impression which takes a min for it to rise back up. Fourth, egg dropped from 10 ft WOULD break unlike the advertisement. The product is high in quality and resilient to children physical stress. Fifth, I wish the pictures are not repetitive, though they are cute and accurately spelled. Last, for the purpose, the product serves it well, for the cost, it is pricey and I can understand why.

Seriously one of the best purchases I have made for our baby and living room. I’ve had this for a few months now and am SO GLAD I replaced the area rug with this. Do not miss having a rug at all in the living room. We use it every day! This is so comfortable to sit on and more hygienic. Today I took a soapy mop to this and hosed it off. Good as new, after food and other much grosser stuff has hit this mat. My only wish was that they made this in a bigger size, I definitely would have sprung for it. Really nice pattern, I scoured amazon and the internet to find something that would pair nicely with our stuff.

We bought our first Baby Care Play Mat back in 2013 when our youngest was starting to crawl. We had originally purchased a foam play mat that pieced together, but it was hard to clean and the pieces wouldn't hold together well. Our older daughter figured out how to take it apart and after we caught her chewing on a piece, we decided it was time to look for something else. We saw this play mat on Amazon and loved that it was all one piece and still offered a soft surface for the baby to crawl and play on. We were looking to buy a rug for the kids' room and decided to get another play mat instead. It's so much easier to clean than a rug - just vacuum and/or wipe the surface. Plus the price is the same or less than what a nice rug would've cost at this size. We have the alphabet design in the play room and the pink with white polka dots in the kids' room. We unrolled it in the living room to let is air out and flatten overnight. By the next day the smell was almost completely gone and was uncurled. They didn't offer a medium size back in 2013, but I see that they now have that option if the large size is too big. We love the large size though and spend time on it every day reading and playing. It does dent when you kneel on it, like any foam product. But we've never had problems with it not bouncing back after a few minutes. After 2 years, the first play mat we bought still looks brand new!

We are trying to live on a budget to save for a home, and lately I have had buyer's remorse on a few of the spendy purchases I have made. Not so with this one. Just opened up this mat and laid it out. It is quite bigger than I anticipated (in a great way)! For instance the pink elephant (we got Pingko) is almost twice as tall as the length of my foot! My daughter who is about 15 pounds right now will be just slightly larger than the elephant. So then this feels like an extraordinarily large surface for infant (plus parent) play! It feels so soft and squishy when stepped on. I can't wait for my daughter (who is with my mom at the moment) to see it and for us to build playful memories together on this mat. It wasn't in our budget to spend over a hundred on this (what it costs at the time of writing). Thankfully due to an Amazon warehouse deal in which only the outer box packaging was damaged, I was able to get this mat brand new for a significant discount. There were other themes of this mat in the seventy range at other stores but this is the theme I wanted and at the time of this review I could only find it on Amazon and no where else. So thank you Amazon/manufacturer for making this available here! The manufacturer wrapped it well in a plastic wrap and there is some foam on the inside as well. It comes with a 2 year warranty at the time of this writing. I really don't think that can be beat. If the mat is going to fail I feel it would do so in two years. If it lasts two years I don't see why it wouldn't last longer. Awesome mat, would recommend.
