Wonderful storage solution

Love these shelves. They seem flimsy until you put them together then they are very sturdy. I put heavy boxes on the bottom. Solved all our storage issues in the basement! Very happy! Cost effective too!

Putting Together The Right Way

The unit seemed pretty flimsy until I finally realized that tapping the cross members with a rubber mallet really set them strong. Nothing in the instructions brought this to light. I like the shelving very much. I do believe if I had it to do all over again I'd most likely purchase the next up heavier duty but these were mostly for boxes, some very heavy (bottom shelf) some extremely light (top shelf. Worth the money in my opinion. I would definitely recommend these for someone wanting to store a lot of boxes or use in a pantry. Everything came in the box, no problems with anything bent or disfigured. Great packaging by the company. Remember to tap the cross members and it should be good and sturdy for you.

Best shelving unit

This product is my best purchase in amazon history. I had a garage with a lot of boxes on the ground and needed an organized solution. This set of 4 shelves is enough to organize a 3 car garage and still has room for more space. It is NOT flimsy. I describe this shelving unit as aluminum and very light weight, and still strong enough for heavy boxes.

Good Value

I purchased these to use as a shelf in our home (I like the galvanized metal - I'll paint the shelves) and in a retail store. They look exactly as pictured and arrived REALLY fast. I assembled one unit myself and found it simple enough once I got started and understood the process. The only tool I needed was a rubber mallet - and I really suggest you get one before starting this. They seem sturdy enough, but I'm a little doubtful that each shelf could hold the amount of weight the description says. It's fine for my purpose though. When you assemble put the shelves exactly where you want them because it would require a lot of taking apart to move them. Wear the gloves that they provided and your hands will be fine.

Well made and sturdy enough for our smaller garage items. Purchased for extra shelving in a run in shed that houses wood and extra garage items.

Sturdier than what they look

These shelves were everything I expected them to be for the price. They are a lot sturdier than you would think when you first open the box. They were not bad putting together but still difficult. I highly recommend wearing the gloves that come with them during assembly because it is real easy to pinch your fingers if you aren’t careful. One set had a piece missing but the supplier quickly responded and shipped the missing piece to me which was very much appreciated. Overall I would recommend these shelves.

Easy to assemble

Good product. Easy to put together. I put together 3 shelves in around a hour without needing a tool. My wife likes them a lot.

One of my best purchases ever, such a great value. Very sturdy shelves that were easy to assemble. Great customer service and I’m buying a second set.

Good Product - Great Price

The product is strong enough for normal garage stuff. Becomes rigid and strong when completed. It is a two person assembly job, not because of weight but because it is easier to support uprights during assembly with a second person. Start from the bottom and build it one "box" at a time. Add shelf when the "box" is completed and the unit becomes rigid and does not bend. When completed the shelves look good and are less industrial looking than others, which is arguably better for a home's private garage.

Buying Another Set

These are good shelves for a great price. After the first assembly, it becomes somewhat routine to build the others. It will take one person a few hours for all four though. These shelves are surprisingly strong. The assembly won’t cut your hands. I’m buying another set of four.
