Great Case! Perfect Fit! Nice Grip! Durable!

This case is the BEST case I've ever purchased! At first I was hesitant on buying it reading some of the reviews. Maybe they made improvements since then. All I can say is this case fits perfectly. All the buttons line up. The screen protector went over it smooth. No issues with using the touch screen over just the bare screen. I never installed a screen protector prior to installing this built in one. Everyone can here me loud & clear with this case on. If you have this phone I highly recommend getting this case. You won't find a more durable & protective one out there.

If You Love the Otterbox Defender

When my husband broke his S8 and I broke my S8 Plus, I bought the S8 Active for him and fulfilled the warranty on his S8 for myself. With all that drama, you can understand why we agreed he should put his Active in a case, despite its claims to sturdiness and we were both pleased with this case. Without the curved screen of the S8, the screen protector works great and it really is a hearty case. I think it will hold up to the beating my husband and his manual labor job will give it, just as well as an Otterbox Defender (which isn't available) would.

Turns the S8 Active into a tank!

Absolutely love this case! The rubber around the edges is much softer than Supcase's other S8 Active case (Also has flaps for each port) and raises the edge around the screen for much improved protection from front facing drops. (The Active model is still prone to the screen shattering despite the plastic layer on top of the display) I did have to remove the plastic screen protector (Wasn't hard) as I can't stand those built in plastic ones that collect dust and dirt from pockets. It does add bulk, but that's what I wanted. I trust the build quality of the Active; but all smartphones no matter how tough the design is can break from any random drop at just the right angle. This case gives me immediate relief that it's protected and can withstand a harsh drop. Highly recommend this case if you need much more protection with your S8 Active.

Works great even after a drop

I've had this case on my phone for 2 months now and it works great. I accidentally threw my phone while running on an asphalt path (I was tired) and while the corner of the case shows scrapes, the phones was protected and has had no issues. the 'clear plastic' screen cover is attached to the front piece and I added a tempered glass layer under it as well. The two layers makes typing difficult and in experimenting determined the issue was the plastic cover, so if you find you have issues with pressing buttons on your screen, you can cut out the plastic cover and just add a tempered glass screen protector. Additionally, though I have taken the case off once to clean after dropping in mud (thanks dog), It is not one I would suggest taking on/off 500 times as it will wear on the case and how it connects to itself. I use the same style/brand case for my iPad and have had that on there for ~2 years without an issue.

Perfect fit and can still charge wirelessly!

This is a great case for the S8 Active. The fit is perfect and I love the scratch resistant screen protector. The only downside is that if your phone gets wet you have to disassemble it and dry it out because it takes days to dry out on its own. I have spills and messes that need rinsing on a semi regular basis (hence why I got the water proof phone), but I have not found this inconvenient enough to retract a star on the rating. All the ports and buttons and openings line up with the case perfectly and have not had any trouble while using the phone. All the calls are clear and crisp and others can hear me without my voice sounding muffled. I can even charge my phone wirelessly without taking the case off which was a giant plus!

S8 Active UnicornBeetle Phone Case

This phone case is absolutely worth the price. I received the package and it was half open and the box the case came in was damaged. I thought it would've broken the phone case, but that was not the case. The case was well packaged inside the box. I've read many of the reviews for the case and many were not happy with the built in screen protector. I think it is absolutely perfect. It keeps much of the outside world from getting under it. The sensitivity is not an issue for me, I've not had to remove it and put on just a regular screen protector. Also some have complained of an oil slick look to the protector, I have noticed that as well, but it is not noticable enough to be bothersome. This phone case fits my S8 Active like a glove. It was simple to put on. It takes as little finagling to remove the case, but that isn't really an issue. Another feature of this case is the Bixby button is flush with the case so there is no accidentally having that pop up on your screen. That is an awesome feature, because let's face it, many of us don't need to talk to our phone. The case also comes with a belt clip outer case. It seems to be pretty sturdy and could take a bit of abuse. I, myself most likely won't use it so I really can't say how well it will hold up. The back of the phone case has little rubberized feet to keep it from sliding off of many surfaces. The case is raised around the front edge so that if it is dropped face down it doesn't hit the screen. I have already done an accidental test of that and it didn't break or anything! I am rough on phones but I believe this case will stand up to my regular abuse of it. I LOVE the color of my case. It was true to the picture provided when I was searching the website. In my opinion, this case is just as good or better than the Otter Boxes. My boyfriend has one on his phone and it doesn't even fit as snuggly as the UnicornBettle. The best part is the price. You can't beat the price or quality of this product. I will continue to buy this product in the future.

Case fits perfectly, screen protector has the dreaded oil slick delima. But other than that this case is a beast and will provide great additional armor to your s8 active.

Life saver!!

I have had my case for a little over one year. It has been through A LOT. I am a very clumsy person, this case has held up with countless drops (including on concrete flooring and down concrete stairs multiple times) drops into the bathroom and kitchen sinks, and my infant daughter who is obsessed with chewing and throwing my phone. My phone is unscratched. The case hardly has any wear at all just a couple scratches on the screen protector. This is the best case ever for durability. It is not the cutest thing in the world but it definitely holds up and will save your phone countless times

It looked like it had been ran over but took the phone ...

I was on a job and dropped my phone and didnt even realize it. Left that job and went to another one and reached for it and realized I didnt have it. Went back to the previous job and found it laying in the road. It looked like it had been ran over but took the phone case apart and my phone was fine. This is an excellent product and a heck of a lot cheaper than an otter box!

Durable case for a good price

I didn't realize when ordering this case that it is the same brand/style we use for one of my kids' tablets. It is extremely durable and fits well. We've only had the one for the S8 active for a few days but the one we have for the tablet has protected our tablet from more than one fall down our stairs at home and over the weekend it fell from the top of the bleachers on to a gravel walkway and didn't leave a scratch on it. thinking of trading my otter box on my iphone for one of these.
