Great growler / thermos keeps temperature for a very long time.

I have used this for hot coffee and cold water. Works great - keep coffee very hot for a long time. Also keeps cold water cool for a long time. I bought this with the insulation case that comes with a handy adjustable over the shoulder carry strap. Probably the only thing I would want more is a handle on this thing to make pouring easier. Great quality product. The seller even emails you in advance to make sure you receive the correct item as Amazon sometimes ships without the insulation (wrong code) if you ordered that. Some of the coffee I didnt drink stayed warm even at the end of the day.

I bought this as a gift for my husband,and it's been a hit. It keeps beer cold and carbonated for days (seriously, be careful when opening it, it's that good at keeping in carbonation). Totally worth the price.

It's pretty good.

The thing you need to know before purchasing this is this is BIG. It's bigger than my head. But at this size, hopefully you were expecting that. I personally got it for water not booze (because, fun fact, the average american is supposed to drink 100-200oz of water per day, so I figured two of these per day was a good goal).. my props to anyone who could drink this much beer.. I would probably die trying! The temperature keeps inside very well (I originally got a defective one which did not insulate but the seller sent me a new one at no cost and it works great). The string attaching the top slips off easily. I suggest gluing it in place so you do not lose the cap if you plan to go camping with this item. Overall, very nice. I love the subtlety of the logo and the sleekness of the black coating.

Best cold beverage container ever made!

Okay, I normally don't give five stars for many things, but this growler is AWESOME. I have a Yeti cup, several different knock-off WallyWorld cups and this Growler blows them all out of the water, I work for a construction materials firm, and it is HOT, every single minute of my day. I got this growler on a Monday and that night I filled it up with ice and water, I took it to work with me all week, I used it as a water jug mainly, pouring the INSANELY cold water into a cup to drink. I added more water every day but I added NO ICE the whole week and I still had ice in my growler Friday afternoon when I got off work. This is hands down, by far, the best insulated beverage container I've ever had: stop reading this and hit "Buy Now With One Click" you'll thank yourself the first day you use it. The photo I added shows the now five day old ice still in my growler. I'll never buy another brand again.

Nothing grumpy about this growler....

Very happy with the purchase. This "new and improved" version works as advertised keeping the beverages cold and carbonated for several days after being filled at the local pub. I have to admit I haven't taken it hiking in warm weather but it certainly seems to work well for having a specialty brew straight from the 'fridge. I definitely recommend spending the extra money on the cover. The growler body does have a good grip to it though I don't recommend carrying it one handed for a long distance. Fully filled it can be heavy and the cap cord really doesn't seem to be intended as a carrying handle. The bag unzips along the bottom making it easy to load and unload the growler as well as display the standard warning label (presuming that your watering hole requires that as a prerequisite to filling). The cover comes with both a handle and shoulder strap making carrying much easier and giving some extra protection to the cargo. Overall a really good growler for the price.

Looks good, works great.

This is a pretty nice growler. I got it with the Yukon growler case and I've been happy with it. Having the government warning stamped on the bottom is very handy if your state requires that labeling. I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else but it is stamped with the 64oz capacity, so breweries shouldn't give you any push back. It keeps the beer cold. I filled mine on a trip lately and then drove in a hot car for a few hours and later that evening enjoyed a nice cold drink. Some reviewers take issue with the lid, and I'll echo their observations that tightening the lid is a bit of a grind. It doesn't have a buttery feel at all, quite the opposite. You feel like you're grinding it to pieces just to get a good seal. But it does seal and as long as it keeps the beer safely inside I'm not going to complain. The neoprene carrier is a nice touch. Fits well and the zippers are good quality. Only problem I had was one of the plastic D-rings that the shoulder strap attaches to came broken. I grabbed a couple of metal key rings to replace them. A 25-cent solution that I'm very happy with. Last time I got this growler filled people at the bar in the brewery had a lot of questions about it and were impressed. Looks good and works great. Edit Oct 2018: I started having issues with my growler's lid popping off after it got filled. You'd drive down the road and hear a loud pop from behind you and the lid would just be hanging and beer everywhere. Turns out it's a design flaw with the original lid. Yukon Growlers sent me a v2 lid and it works flawlessly. 5 stars to Yukon!

I recently added a kegarator to my basement so the problem I had was going to a friends house and having to swing by the package store. I got this to keep my beer cold at the same time allowing me to bring my kegged beer where I want. The first night I got it I filled with cold water 44deg and set it in my kitchen, the next night I took the temp and it gained about 3deg. I will be ordering another so I don't have to share my beer with anyone.

Love This Growler!

I purchased this growler in black as a Valentine’s Day Gift for my boyfriend. I wanted to wait to write a review, in case it didn’t hold up. After using it multiple times in the last month and a half, we absolutely LOVE this growler! Here’s why: For starters, it keeps the contents incredibly cold. And for a very long time. We filled it and didn’t have hardly any ice in our cooler when we left the brewery. Still perfectly cold when we got home. The seal on this thing is great. The bartender at the one brewery even complimented us on it and asked where we bought it. LOVE THE CARRYING CASE! 64 ounces of beer is heavy, and the coating on the growler is kinda hard to grip. We slip that baby into the case and it makes life a heck of a lot easier. If you’re considering buying the case, DO IT. my biggest regret is that I didn’t go all the way and buy the set that had the draft glasses. Unfortunately I don’t think I can buy just the matching glasses. So, my recommendation is buy the whole gift set. If you don’t need the glasses, DEFINITELY GET THE CARRYING CASE!

Sleek & Functional

I was looking for an insulated growler to take on a camping trip and came across this one from Yukon. It is a great price and once I saw that it also came with a carrying bag, I ordered it. Upon opening, the growler looks sleek especially with the black & silver. The Yukon logo is cool. There is a rubber string that keeps the screw top lid connected to the growler so it doesn't get lost. The growler bag unzips at the bottom for easy growler access. Would recommend again.

Who knows what happened

I really liked the one I bought last time so I decided to buy another one as a gift. There are some hiccups when the product arrived. It was an honest mistake and the seller promptly resolved the issue. The reason I like about the Yukon Growlers is because it keeps the hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for more than 24 hours. In stead of buying plastic jar of waters, soft drink, or coffee, etc. we each has a bottle like this when we travel or camping. It saves us a lot of money. It also help us know how much water we consume daily. I have purchased many water bottle with a wide variety of size and style, however I preferred this Yukon stainless water bottle. With a wide open mouth I can easily clean, especially during the flu season. I like to give it a good clean with hot water and let it dry out completely before they next use. Just make sure the lid is secured before you place it in your car or you will get a flood. I made a mistake once. The quality of stainless steel is very good too. It is not safe to use aluminum in food grade products, or cookware. Sometimes you will see some products come with a plastic liner, which can contain BPA and/or other harmful chemicals in you canned goods. Unlike aluminum, stainless steel needs no liner to keep you safe and healthy, just look for the smooth metal inside your bottle. I hope you like this product as much as I do.
