Bed frame broke 5 months after purchase but ZINUS REPLACED IT.
Bought this for my nephew back in July. Last night, his mom calls me and tells me frame broke. I couldn’t believe it, the description makes these seem indestructible. I ask my sister how it broke, and she tells me he just sat on one end to put on his shoes and BOOM, it broke. My nephew is teen weighing around 120lb, so I know for a fact he wasn’t the issue. I spoke with ZINUS Representative, and she told me the beds are covered for 5 years, as long the damage was on defective manufacturing. Will wait to see what happens on this case. If zinus does not replace this bed frame, will be extremely disappointed. Will update later on with my case. UPDATE!!!! ZINUS agreed to replace the bed frame after sending them an email with purchase invoice and pictures of where/how it broke. The bed frame arrived today (12-13-2017). I am very satisfied with their warranty and customer service. If I ever need a new bed frame, i won’t hesistate to buy from them again. Thanks ZINUS!

Great product for the price. Non-slip strips on the frame: your mattress will NOT slide! Yay!
I bought this frame primarily for the (relatively) cheap price. It took me about an hour to assemble, by myself. Really not a big deal at all. What I LOVE about this product is that it has these non-slip sticky strips that line the bottom of the frame—the side that the mattress sits on. You peel off the protective paper strips and put the mattress on top, and ta da! The mattress doesn't slide! Now, I just got the mattress on the frame so I don't know how long these strips will stay good for...but so far, that mattress is not sliding at ALL. (I've gotten other similar metal frames before, and there typically a problem with sliding. So these non-slip strips are a BIG DEAL.) I'm not sure if these non-slip strips are a new thing for this product, or I just missed it in the reviews. But now that I know this frame offers this, I'm not going back to any other frame.

GOOD BUY! 5+ all across
I love this frame. I was in a bind and was having to sleep on an air mattress for a while... I didn't like to have to crawl in and out of bed so I got this to ride it up a bit. I have to say, since I was on an air mattress, it made a bit of noise but I just put a sheet down on the frame and then placed the air mattress on top and that resolved that issue. I am a toss and turner ALL NIGHT kinda person this bed does not squeak and can sustain a compound weight of 350 comfortably. Putting it together took 15 minutes, I'm a short female with NO arm strength and struggle even with the most simplest of IKEA guidelines. I 100% recommend to anyone looking, you will not be disappointed

Sturdy bed frame for those on a budget
This is the second one of these frames we have purchased and they are fantastic. About a year or so ago we purchased one for our youngest son, who needed a new bed frame and it has been perfect for him. Just this month we needed to replace our teenage son's bed and once again purchased this frame. It doesn't squeak, doesn't require a box spring, and the cost cannot be beaten. It's amazingly sturdy and has worked for our preteen and now our teen. My teen was able to put his together on his own in record time. My only caution is my kids aren't the "jump on the bed" types (they save that for our couch), so it hasn't been through that kind of wear. It has stood up to minor bouncing and piles of blankets, stuffed animals, and some lazy cats. I'm over 200 lbs myself and I tested it out for any squeaking for a shifting sleeper and it passed that test. We strongly recommend this frame.

Clever design
What a pleasant surprise to receive the bed frame in a most compact box! This frame must have received an award for unique design. It was incredibly simple to put together with the easy to follow directions. For an extra bed in our guest room, this twin XL bed frame is just what we wanted.

I liked the fact that this item had a lot of ...
I researched many frames/platforms. Even though it only had 1 review, I decided to but it anyway. Usually, my purchases are based on the number of positive reviews, but, I liked the fact that this item had a lot of slats instead of a lot of open space between slats. It arrived a day early and my daughter & I set about putting it together. I brought several screw drivers with me because I couldn't find a spec sheet online listing required tools. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. I was happy to find out that the only required tool was an allen wrench & it was included. It only took about 20 minutes for the two of us to put it together, this was fantastic considering I'm no spring chicken & my daughter has severe back issues. I am very impressed with the quality of the item as well as how sturdy it is. I am a very satisfied customer.

Great for its price, would buy again.
Heyhey just dropping in to do a quick rundown on this. I purchased the twin sized for $52.99, amazon shipping. It arrived, in a box about a foot and a half wide by three and a half to four feet long, within two days. I was nervous about missing parts/scuffs from other reviews but everything showed up in working and complete order. It took me twenty minutes to assemble (including the time I took to go over the instructions)- the only problem I had during assembly was the alan wrench started wearing really quickly, but I may have been tightening it more than it needed. It has a good amount of space under it for smaller storage boxes (or my cat, since she immediately vanished under there to make it her new cave haha), it's comfortable even with the cheap ass mattress I bought to go with it. I took a short nap on it to try it out and I have no complaints besides the obvious that it slid around a little. I put velcro straps on a couple of the bars, and sewed patches of velcro to my spring mattress and that problem isn't occuring anymore. I'm 250 pounds and it didn't seem to have any trouble with my weight so far. Over all it works, it's cheap, and it's minimalist in a pleasing way. Will update review after a month of use.

Hot glue fixed sliding problem
I love this bed frame! I saw the other reviews about the mattress sliding and I also experienced this but I fixed it by adding a little hot glue to the slats, not gluing the mattress to the slats, but giving them some grip. Works great.

Sturdy. Comfy. Went together easily. Storage space.
Was exactly what we wanted. Can easily store tupperware clothes bins underneath. The only change I'd make is that the corners are kinda sharp. I'd rather see it have slightly rounded corners, like a mattress. I have bumped my shins a few times on the corners when the mattress shifts a little to one side. Which also brings up the issue that this thing is painted and slick, and the mattress does move around a little on the frame. If it bugs me more, I'll put some grip tape or other friction tape on the frame to keep things in place.
