The backpack is well built so far, haven't taken it to the field yet. Fits everything that I need or has a place to attach things such as a landing pad. Foam inserts are dense, but pliable and safe. The GoPro compartment foam has all the cutouts still inside to make it 1 block of foam, but very easy to remove just what you need to. Mavic opening in the foam is a little big, but has very little wiggle room and I am not afraid that it will get damaged as it is a small amount. Just make sure that the bag is zipped because it might fall out (haven't tested that). Overall very secure bag that will hold everything that you need for a day out flying except a laptop bigger than 13" if you do on the fly editing.

Well Designed

This backpack is the perfect compliment to the GoPro and Mavic Pro. Everything fits tight and there is plenty of space for additional accessories. I did not find it to be small, at 6' tall, 195 lbs and a 42" chest, this bag is easy to carry with plenty of adjustment for a larger or smaller person.

It keeps my Mavic Pro nice and snug and most important safe

As with any Smatree product I've owned, this backpack does exactly what it needed to do. It keeps my Mavic Pro nice and snug and most important safe. Out of all the cases I've seen, this is the only one allowing me to have 5 batteries all at once and be able to take with me all my accessories I would need for it. The Gopro feature is also a very nice one, though I ended up removing the foam cut outs. This allowed me to store more stuff in it and it's still safe and snug. The back pack is light and fits on my back very comfortably. This is the perfect carrying case for the Mavic and my Gopro camera and accessories when I go traveling since I can take it all in the airplane and be able to fit my iPad and external HD in it.

Well made, dust & dirt proof, comfortable backpack!

I surprised my husband and got him a backpack for his Mavic Pro drone and GoPro cameras. He enjoys making videos of our family vacations, trips to the park, beach etc. He said it fits his shoulders and back well, and "it's very comfortable to wear full". (He is 5'11" 185#). He was impressed with how much gear he could fit in it. Mentioned the front GoPro mount is all metal & holds his Karma Grip sturdy while walking. It is made very well; zippers function perfect, lots of protection, clean precise foam cutouts.

This is good to use for traveling with the drone

This is good to use for traveling with the drone. The material is tough enough (not hard) to withstand relatively heavy pressure on it. The tough foam cutouts inside keeps the pieces in place and fits all of my dji mavic pro items. I also have the moverio glasses and I use the outer pocket for it. The backpack is over twice the size of my dji bag (that came when I ordered the dji combo). I use that smaller bag for quick hops somewhere but I will use this Smatree backpack for longer travels, e.g. planes/trains, etc...

Perfect compact backpack for the Mavic 2 Pro

This looks durable and seems high quality. The drone and a fair amount of extras fit snugly inside the backack. The extra storage for the gopro is an awesome bonus and the mount it comes with to clip your gopro the the back or front seems high quality. Definitely worth the money as far as i can tell.

The best drone/GoPro bag around!

Great Bag! The Smatree bag was made with a lot in mind. It has room for all of your DJI Mavic Pro needs as well as all of your GoPro needs! This bag definitely has that outdoor camera person in mind. Everything inside is protected by product specific foam as well as a hard outer shell. In addition to the protection this bag offers, it has great compartments to hold the rest of your gear. It is also made of a durable, strong and functional material on the outside. I couldn't be happier with this bag!

Perfect Bag for GoPro + Mavic Pro

I’d been looking for something for both my GoPro and Mavic for awhile to no avail so for a time would just lug around two separate cases like a fool, until now. This backpack is awesome. Hard build so you feel comfortable putting a drone in it. Also has a little bag attached to the side that has a rain cover for the entire bag. The GoPro section is conveniently placed in the front compartment of the bag so you can access it easily. The bag has plenty of room to pack up enough batteries and accessories for a good hike or mini trip. Bag also has a few GoPro mounts on it,making recording on the go super quick. I love this backpack. I use it every time I take my drone out. Nice knowing I have all my stuff safely kept in such a well designed bag.

Perfect backpack for my DJI Mavic Pro and my GoPro Hero 5 & GoPro Session 5. Everything stays in place. Also has 2 outer mounts to fit 2 more GoPros. So, you could carry 4 GoPros along with the drone. Extremely easy to set up.
