TOMY--John Deere Animal Sounds Hayride Preschool Toy

I bought this as a gift for my 3-year-old grandson. When it arrived, I knew immediately by looking at the toy that my grandson would love it. It was both visually attractive and good quality. A great size for a 3-year-old. And yes! He loves it!...but he is "in to" green tractors right now.

Very cute

The 2 year old loves this tractor set, he pushes this along the floor. When you press the farmer into his spot "Old McDonald" plays, and when you press each animal into their spot it plays their animal sound.

Lots of Fun

Our 2 year old grandson is obsessed with tractors and trucks. He has many. This one has taken over a top spot in his heart. There are several reasons for this. First of all it has a farmer and animals that can come out. When a child has an imagination he likes to be able to put people and things into vehicles, something most manufactures forget. So while he dozens of wonderful trucks and tractors, most of them do not accommodate characters. This one does. it will hold not only these characters but his Duplo people and many others. He also enjoys the sounds the animals make when you push them down, and likes matching the animals to the pictures when he puts them in to go for a ride, but he does not feel restricted by those sounds. In addition to being fun, this product is also durable. He likes to have is vehicles crash into his block towers, ride off of cliffs, and do stunts. This one holds up great. It is also easy to clean. He spread out a field of play dough "mud" for it to travel in and that cleaned off easily. I would buy this again as a gift and highly recommend it to others.

Fun

I bought this for my 15-month-old grandson. He loves it. Besides being a fun push toy, it's also a puzzle and matching game, teaches animals and sounds. Each "seat" is actually a button with the photo of an animal or the farmer. Pushing the button plays the animal's sound or, in the case of the farmer, "Old McDonald". The toys is sturdy and washes easily. The removable animals and farmer ride in other vehicles, get matched up to photos in storybooks, etc. Fun!

2 Years Later - STILL LOVE the Animal Sounds Hayride!

This John Deere Animal Sounds Hayride is so adorable! I purchased it for my daughter when she was two, and she just turned 4 and STILL plays with it a lot! Both she and her older brother have enjoyed it. I have never changed the batteries and it works as good as new. I personally love the little animals and the farmer that it comes with, the cow is especially cute, but the most awesome part about this toy is that the little slots for the driver and passengers fit so many different figures! My daughter loves to take her Little People Disney princesses, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom Elves & Fairies, Peppa Pig figures, etc for a hayride! I’m currently in the process of getting rid of at least 50% of the toys in our household and this is one I plan on keeping because it has staying power, can be used creatively with lots of other little toys and the sounds and music are actually cute and not annoying like some toys! A definite win and I would purchase it again for sure!

Excellent toy for several years of play

This toy came in with donations to our charity Christmas program and I thought it was so cute Iwent out and bought it for my grandson for Christmas. At age 10 months he loves each animal and they are able to be teethed on. The wagon and carts he moves back and forth and turns them over to play with the wheels. I have observed that he is trying to get an animal in the "holes". My nearly four year old grand daughter(his cousin), who loves animals wanted to play with it all day Christmas day. I believe it will be a toy that will be enjoyed for several years. A Plus: The sounds of the animals are not loud enough to be annoying! A Con: The horse neigh sound could be much improved.

So very much fun for little ones !!!

I have learned when I shop the Big Box Store and find something I like...I "Amazon it" !!! Always !!!! I beat the price by about $6.00 and with "Prime" I had it shipped at at my Door Step in two days !!! My Great Grandson Jace loves the interactive stuff and what kid won't like a Tractor with animals along for the ride that the Cow Moo's and has each animal makes their sound when placed in its resting spot on the trailer !!!!! Oh yeah...I bought this one because I just love John Deere Tractors and so will he !!!

Not sure who likes it more, my 1 year old or my husband .. our son loves when daddy makes the pig say moo!

So much fun!

While I originally thought this would be a fun toy for my 11 month old, it turns out my 2.5 year old loves it even more! The pieces are a great size for my 11 month old to hold onto and stick in his mouth (we love the Little People sets); and he even pushes the tractor around. The plus side for him is that the wagons stay attached, so he isn't battling with his inability to string together the convoy of tractor and trailers while playing. For my 2.5 year old, he loves matching the animals to their proper seats - which make the corresponding animal sound - and the farmer position has a nice tune that plays when you push on his seat. We have far too many toys that are LOUD, and while that doesn't bother me so much since I expect that with children's toys, this is a nice quieter toy that doesn't leave you rolling your eyes every time you hear it. On the downside, there is not a volume switch, so you are not able to turn the sound up, which can be a bit hard to hear over other background noises like the tv or other children playing. But both of my boys have loved this toy and I'm pleased with the purchase!
