Ok at this point, I guess it's safe (and sad) to say that I am ADDICTED to this matte lip ink/lipstick! I LOVE IT. I put it on on the morning and if I don't take it off before I go to bed, which I always do, it will still be there in the morning. I use the Maybelline SuperStay eraser (basically chapstick) and then I follow it up with the Lancôme Eye Makeup Remover to get the rest because it stays on so well (I know it says it's for eyes but it takes this waterproof lipstick off perfectly). I couldn't stop buying these colors! I'm a brown/caramel complexion and I think I bought every shade to compliment my skin tone. My favorites are 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40...I guess that sequence might be a coincidence! I wear 20 (Pioneer) and 40 (Believer) the most. The colors I received do look slightly different on the brown skinned swatch, and some colors look better on a full face (makeup). I also had Huntress (Not pictured here) but I gave it to my BFF because she does a full face and it looked amazing on her, she's maybe a half shade darker than me but she has the face for it, it just didn't go with my faux 'stache (it's really just a shadow on my upper lip, I refuse to wax or shave and make it noticeable to the world). Some of the shades I still have would go better with makeup, and maybe they would be better with liner, but it's not the kind of lipstick to use when practicing because once it's on, it's on! One of my colors came in and I think something was wrong with the one I got because it goes on gritty. But all the others are smooth and I don't have to ever reapply, I would actually advise against reapplication. Better to remove it and start over, or hurry up and take it off before it dries, about 3 minutes. I am sure I'll end of buying more, and perhaps rebuy the one that came in bad to see if it does anything for me when it can apply right lol.

Does what it says

Ok so it's 4:30pm towards the end of my work day and I have had breakfast, lunch, liquids and even an ice cream bar and this lipstick has stayed put! I had been using the Make Up Forever Artist Liquid Matte that also stays on all day, but due to some financial readjusting and trying to save more, I had to give up on those since they are like $20 each. I researched and read the reviews on these and I gotta say... I like these better! First of all,the applicator arrow shape with a point make it so much easier to apply and define the cupid's bow and outline without looking messy like when I use the MUFE. There is also more variety in the colors, they last just as long and they actually wear better in the sense that they don't feel as drying as the MUFE brand. The best part is the price. I got the Poet and one of the reds. I will be purchasing many more. I'm very impressed!

VERY pigmented, long-lasting, great deal

This literally will not come off unless you use heavy duty makeup remover (NOT makeup wipes, they'll just irritate the skin and do nothing to remove the color). It is a little drying, but you can always put lip gloss or chapstick over it after it dries. It's very pigmented. Probably my best liquid lipstick, definitely my cheapest. I'm buying a second one after like two days of owning the first.

Eat a cheeseburger without reapplying after.

This is the most amazing lip stain ever! REMEMBER: it takes 15 minutes to dry! I have a really strong and proud inner fat kid. I would say about 85% of the day I am eating something or sipping something, so I needed a lip stain that stays. Oh boy did I get what I wanted. This color lasts all day and through most food. Now, I say most cause Popsicles totally win against this lip stain but it puts up a fight. I don't know how it holds up against making out or sexy things because I am a loner (I'm literally too busy with food) but my married coworker says it holds up and adds to the sexy factor. One down side is: it drys the hell out of your lips and if you have full lips like I do then you know chapping is already a common annoyance. If you let this dry completely, then you can put chapstick on through out the day like you normally would! The lip stain will stay. Lastly, because it stays forever once it drys the only way to remove it is with an OIL based make up remover. Water based might get it some of it off but it will look patch and it will look like you have a weird lip disease. No one wants to kiss disease riddled lips.

Amazing Red!

Pioneer Red. Let me just say this red is amazing. It has blue undertones which gives teeth a whiter appearance and also doesnt have any orange look about it. I have been searching for a go to red for a long time and finally found it. I will be ordering many more colors. At first the lipstick feels sticky but it turns into a matte. I always apply a translucent powder lightly over it to it will not have any stickiness to it.

Day two

After discovering these, I quickly purchased one in every color. In the photo I'm waiting for my morning bus, the lipstick is a combination of loyalist and lover shades. I put them on yesterday afternoon. These shades don't move! If you're worried about them coming off, I've found chapstick, specifically Blistex will take it off.

I'm in love!

I love this stuff! I ordered Seductress and I love the color! It compliments me so perfectly! My skin color is medium beige and my undertone is warm. This product does take a little while to dry but once it does, the lipstick doesn't transfer (I tested it drinking coffee.) It does feel a little sticky but it's not bothersome at all. ((It's like putting on chapstick and touching your lips after, you're going to feel something there.)) My lips feel moist with this stuff on unlike some other products where I felt I needed to add lip balm on top. I can laugh and smile and it wont chip or peel and it doesn't feel stiff at all. I applied this morning at 7 am and it's now 12;30 pm. I didn't have to re-apply and none as came off. I've had breakfast and I'm about to have lunch. I kissed my fiance this morning and none it of transferred to him which is a plus! It really does have a matte finish, I'm not a fan of gloss.

A long-wear lip product that ACTUALLY WORKS!

This is the only lip color product that I've found that actually lasts as long as advertised. I was skeptical because I am HARD on lipstick and even the 24-hour, lip stain, this-stuff-isn't-supposed-to-move-ever products were gone in less than an hour. So I was incredibly happy to have this product recommended to me by a friend. I apply it in the morning and it actually lasts all day. I can eat, drink, and it doesn't come off unless I work really hard to wipe it off. The only caveat is that you cannot use lip balm or other oil/petroleum-based product over this lip color. It is oil-soluble and that will cause it to wipe off (save that for when you are ready to take your make up off for the night!). The Seductress color is the perfect everyday just-slightly-more-color-than nude. I change it up occasionally with other SuperStay Matte Ink colors, but this one is my daily go-to. LOVE IT.

Amazing!!!

I love this lipstick. I fell asleep with it on and it stayed on all night. It has amazing pigment and dries within about 5 minutes. As a busy mom I probably won't try another lipstick! Picture included is the color "loyalist"

pretty + indestructible

I've tried many indie and high-end liquid lipsticks, but none of them comes close to the SuperStay Matte Ink. This is the fourth color I've bought in this formula, and they all work great for me. It is fine to apply (some people don't like how thick it is, but if you apply it carefully and slowly, the result is controlled and smooth), the coverage is phenomenal, and once it dries, it's on all day — and the next day too, if you don't remove it. I remove it easily with coconut oil or Costco's makeup wipes. Once it's fully dry, you can eat, drink, and, uh, make merry, and it won't budge! Liquid lipsticks often dry out my lips something fierce, but this one is fine as long as I use a chapstick or moisturizer right before and after. (It would probably be drying if I wore it every single day, but I have never found a liquid lipstick that wouldn't; most do after half an hour!)
