Wonderful, colorful, deep plates

Perfect and pretty

These are awesome. Great size and I love how they go up on the sides so no spillage. My son believes he needs a gallon of syrup on his waffles lol and these are perfect. No more syrup on the table 😂 They wash great in the dishwasher. I know melamine gets hot in the microwave and I haven’t tried them yet so I haven’t tested them. I highly recommend!

Light, bright and beautiful!

I really can't say enough good things about these plates. They're considerably lighter than any Melamine plates I've ever had. The colors are as beautiful as the photo suggests and they can be on the table with Fiestaware any time. They have a shiny and durable finish that washes easily. They haven't scratched yet, and my knives are sharp. Another reviewer mentioned that they're not as large as they expected, but I don't agree at all. The sides are raised but not like a bowl or a pasta dish. I used them for Thanksgiving dinner and they held all the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes that I could eat. The raised sides and light weight make them easy to carry without spilling - perfect for buffet service. Are you sold yet? Hey, look at the price and try to find anything comparable in that range. I shopped around and found nothing that even came close. I'd be pleased to get these as a gift. I don't have a dishwasher so I can't address that. They clean easily when washed by hand.

Light weight large plates

Very large light weight plates for summer grilling and large family gatherings. Wanted something that was dishwasher safe And easier to handle. They take up much less space than china, etc... Only draw back is they are not microwave safe but you Have to take the bad with the good. Very pleased with this purchase and I have 24 plates that are tough, and the colors are very festive. May not work for the fancy dinner, but hey... if we are doing that we are going out for someone else to do the cooking and cleaning up.

We love them

Our family loves everything about these plates. They are not light weight as some reviewers state. The edges are slightly curved up, so gravy or liquid won’t spill. They do really well in the dishwasher. And the COLORS!!

nice color lightweight

I bought these plates because I like to have plastic light weight plates to use for parties, instead of throw away plates. These plates are all great colors sold in a set. They are big and have a lip around the edges which holds food and prevents spills. They are sturdy and are dishwasher safe. You can't microwave. They would be good for picnics, outside use, good for kids, etc.

Best Melamine Plates Ever!

These plates are terrific! They're nice and big, the colors are bright, they come out of the dish washer great looking as well as the microwave. Love them! I'm thinking of ordering more so I have a service for 12.

I've never heard of melamine before, wasn't sure what to expect. They're lighter than I expected so I assume melamine is a type of plastic. That said, they don't look or behave like plastic. I've had them about a month and used them everyday. So far there are no scratches like I'd expect from plastic. Even after being abused by steak knives. No color fading, no chipping, they seem to be indestructible. They're the perfect size and the raised edges are awesome if you eat off your lap on the couch instead of at a table. Guilty. The only thing I can criticize is that the raised edges make them sit in the dishwasher weird but that's my husband's problem.
