WOW!!!!! Have a 2011 GMC Acadia with a thumb drive port. This has just converted my car into being able to play Bluetooth music with NO AUX cable. Been looking for this for quite some time. Even bought 2 other similar units in the hope they would do this same thing. Both failed. This one WORKED!!! I am very excited. :)

Gave this a shot to use the USB port on a Yamaha AV receiver as a Bluetooth input for my phone. Plugged it in, receiver immediately recognized it as “BT Music” input device. I paired it to my iPhone and the Yamaha receiver began streaming the music from the phone and allowed for remote volume control too. Simple and Awesome!!!!

I updated my iOS to the latest version, 12.3.1. Little did I know that doing so would completely remove my ability to listen to music in my car!!! I have a USB port in my glove box that I would connect my charger to and connect my phone, and my music would play in my speakers. After the STUPID update my screen read "No music." I was devastated!! I came across these Bluetooth USB ports and decided to try one not knowing if it was going to work and by golly it did! Now, the quality is not what it used to be and I can't skip songs by pushing the skip button on my stereo but I am glad I found a solution to play music from my phone in my car again. STUPID APPLE. >=|

This thing is the best version of a Bluetooth stick I have ever used. as soon as you plug it in, it casts its signal and you never have to charge it. when you plug it in, it makes a little ding in your stereo system so you know when its ready to play music without having to whip out your phone. one caviat is that if you have an apple only USB connection, this will not work with it. which is kind of why I got it in the first place. I use an android and I ended up having to replace my whole stereo system to get my phone to work with the sound system in my car. but that's a problem with apple exclusivity rather than this product.

For years I used the split audio power cable with my IPhone 4S, loved the setup. Every time I got in my Jeep I plugged it up, started the Pandora app, and was ready to go. Then I upgraded to an IPhone SE. Had to buy a new split cable to support the lighting connector. IOS 10.3 didn’t like that cable. So I bought a “better” split cable, that one simply didn’t work and was returned. I then realized I use my new phone using Bluetooth with my Turtle Beach - i30 Premium Wireless Mobile Headset (fantastic headset BTW) at my desk, and that works exceptional well. So I bought this small inexpensive Bluetooth device, plugged it into my Jeep cigar lighter and the 3.5 audio into the radio…and it sounded terrible. I had the audio volume on the phone too low, turned the phone up all the way and it sounded great! No more plugging in cables every time I get in the Jeep or launching Pandora. As soon as I turn on the ignition the unit pairs with my phone and my phone displays the play button for Pandora waiting on me to decide if I want music to play or not. It’s great.

I am in love with this product. I have a 2015 Fiat 500 and my Samsung 9 plus stopped connecting to the Blue and Me system. I got use to streaming my music and do not wish to purchase a new phone or expensive device. This product was able to work with both my car and phone. It connects all my speakers and the sound of the music is great!!! It is worth the buy!!!! Just rememeber you have to connect the cord to the device and to the phone first and conncet through bluetooth. Then unplug from phone and apply cord into Aux and then the device into the usb outlet.

I use it on my 2013 Mini Cooper which has a USB port adjacent to the auxiliary input. The USB is on my car only workable with music on the thumb drive but it works as a great charger for the device I just keep it plugged in at all times. And with the included mini jack cable it's super simple and works like a charm. The sound output quality is great and very reliable pairing to my Android phone over Bluetooth. For the money it's a good. So nice to have a Bluetooth audio solution for an older model car that dealing with those silly FM transmitters.

Here is the killer part - I have an Android and a 2013 Chevy Avalanche, and this thing gave me Bluetooth in a truck meant for a iPhone. Yes, it actually fixed my truck to accept Android and I am now streaming my Spotify and Waze together without that 3.5 wire hanging out if the stock stereo. With my truck and this plug and play Bluetooth converter, it doesn't need a charger connected. Just plug it in and it will will automatically sync. My Samsung loves it as much as I do!

The directions were not very clear at all. I sat in my car for 15 minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't working. Got frustrated, unplugged the cord and then replugged it in...should have thought of that first, since it started working as soon as I did. No explanation, but ah well. Anyway, my phone pairs up immediately when I start my car and I'm able to listen to all of my stored songs. And as a bonus, using this bluetooth instead of plugging my phone directly into my car with an av cord like I used to, actually has better sound quality.

Made using my device for music purposes cord free that much easier. No more 6ft long aux cord getting yanked from the aux port on a daily basis, now my phone just automatically connects to my Bluetooth device that stays connected in the car to my USB port and my aux line. I absolutely love it. This was super easy to install literally plug and play, turn on Bluetooth, find the device, connect to it, turn your aux on your car, play your music or take a phone call. It's amazing! Highly recommended.
