Love the insert

Love the insert, it’s bright white. Just know that the multiplush seat is NOT bright white so they won’t match exactly. It’s more of a cream.

From on guy to another.

The pictures showed the insert in the rocker. I thought I had ordered what I needed, but I only got the insert. Anyway I'm a guy and it's my fault I ordered the wrong one. But I have a 6 week old and when I explained this to my baby momma. Well I got in trouble I'm wasting money buy stupid things again on Amazon. I told her it's no big deall, I'll just order the right one and save the insert for the next kid. I was trying to justify my purchase. ( I don't want another kid, I was joking.) Didn't matter her eyes lit up she's so excited. I messed up men, don't make the same mistake I made.

So glad I purchased!

Was hesitant to purchase this insert because I wasn’t sure if I’d need it or not. However, ended up purchasing after we brought our daughter home. She instantly loved the mamaroo swing but was so tiny it swallowed her (She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz, 19.5”) when we brought her home). I highly recommend if you have a little baby to buy this insert!

Perfect for Premie but Expensive

Like the other reviews say, this inset should be included in the main unit because it is so expensive. That being said, the RockaRoo is amazing and has given me some freedom to do other things while the baby is sleeping. I’m not sure if it is recommended or not, but you can even clip in a swaddled newborn in this carrier which soothes the baby even more.

Comfort for your newborn

So very happy with this insert! First of all its reversible. For beauty reasons, it matches the toys when they are reversed on the swing. For more practical purposes, when the baby spits up you can spot clean it and use the other side. Both are equally comfortable (microfiber). Before, my newborn didn't really like this swing, now, with the approval of my pediatrician (baby has reflux and the swing pivots upright), he's sleeping 1-3 hours straight in it at night.

Absolutely perfect for up to 10 -12 lbs

We didn't use the mamaroo until this arrived because someone told us it is safer for newborn to have the insert. NOTHING comes before safety. Our baby girl fit perfectly into this . She was born 6lbs 10oz. First few days we used the mamaroo with the insert without the restraining belt (can't use it when the baby is swaddled). At around 12 lbs we thought it may not be giving enough support. We had a diaper failure and removed the insert for washing. The next day on a whim we used the mamaroo without the insert and the baby was very comfortable.

Pricey but must have for mamaroo when you have a newborn

Definitely a must have for a newborn. My little one was only 6lbs 12oz when born and she was tiny so this definitely helped when we wanted to put her down in her mamaroo for a little bit. It’s super soft & feels nice. I love that it’s reversible. She’s now 3 months & we’ll be removing it soon since she’s grown out of it. I wish it was a bit cheaper, I do think it’s pretty pricey for what it is.

Great for newborns and easy to clean.

Our baby had reflux when we first brought her home and did best when she was sitting up some. She was ~5lb and too small for the mamaroo. We ordered the insert and started using it just after washing. It’s so easy to clean, just throw it in the washing machine. My baby is 12 weeks old and we are still using the insert so definitely got our moneys worth

Good product

Good product. Cheaper than the rest. It is not two separate pieces though, just colored on one side and grey on the back.

Very easy to clean

Very satisfied with this product. Our second daughter is due in just over a month and we decided to buy the newborn insert to help with keeping her comfy and warm (I keep the house very cold) it came in and it’s so soft! It’s also reversible but it’s definitely worth the money! You can wash it as easily as the actual swing
