The best value for a gaming mouse
The M711 Cobra is virtually identical to the Razer Deathadder in terms of overall feel. Unlike it's competitor, however, the Cobra has full RGB lighting (controllable both by software and a hardware switch) and what feels, to me at least, like superior build quality. It's very clicky. Not overpoweringly loud but you definitely can feel the feedback from a button press. It's also surprisingly well-balanced and has a great weight to it. Everything about this mouse screams quality. Holding it, you'd never know it only cost 20 bucks, and it is bar none the best value proposition for a gaming mouse. If you're not ready to throw down 100+ for a super fancy peripheral with interchangeable weights and other bells and whistles, this is the option you should choose. My only complaint is that I use both a Redragon mouse and keyboard, and yet need separate programs for each of them. Redragon needs to create a unified software package for their accessories.

Surprisingly good for the price, and favorable compares with my prior $60 and $80 gaming mice
I've run with this now for several months and it's been a pleasant surprise to not drop the expected $60-$80 on a mid-range gaming mouse, The last one lasted 4.5 years, so even If I end up using 2 of these I'll be ahead. I didn't care for the accompanying light show but you can turn it off, or at least switch it to a less intrusive pattern. This should come in the middle of the night and pushed out the back of a fast-moving truck without license plates, it's such a steal. Even the level of packaging at this price was more than expected,e.g If this was in a white box, bold black print saying "Gaming Mouse" I'd totally get the need to cut costs. Decent weight, glides on a decent gaming surface, rarely do I blame it for my getting fragged,:) Get one as a spare, you may end up using it way after your new , more expensive mouse arrives .

Feels much more expensive than it is.
Ive had a G407 and a Razer Chroma.. Ordered this one late drunken night before I fell asleep. It's been sitting in the packaging since because I just figured it was probably a cheap mouse and would perform like one.. Fell in love with this thing even before I plugged it in. Very comfortable even with my long fingers. Nice soft touch coating and rubber grips on the side. The button clicks are nice and clicky without being too loud. Just an absolute dream to me. The software took a little figuring out but ultimately seems to work pretty well. I like that the DPI changes can be done on the fly and are color matched when changing modes slowest to fastest so you know what setting is active. [SLOW]Red - Blue -- Green -- Pink - Yellow [FAST] Also can I just say.. this thing looks SWEET! You have to spend $99 to get a comparable name brand mouse that has the same amount of RGB this thing does... Overall it's a really great mouse and even if I'm being critical there just isn't anything chincy about it.. the materials and build quality are just as good as a name brand $70+ mouse. Just don't see how anyone could go wrong with this mouse. I absolutely love it even more than my previous two more expensive mice. Wonderful product!!

Get it!
I love this thing. Not even just for the price, just all around perfect mouse. Pros: -Cost. -Design. I've only had it for a couple months but I haven't noticed any issues. The wire is braided and I expect to last for years to come. -Aesthetics. I love the simple RGB strip along the side and back of the mouse. Simple, yet it looks great. I like the RGB logo. -The middle mouse wheel rolls nicely and has a nice feel to it. Not too hard to push but I do not accidentally push it when I get lead fingers. -The two side buttons are perfect. I can't imagine playing without them since the first time I got a mouse with the two side buttons. -The RGB control buttons in the middle/top of the mouse, right behind the wheel, are perfect. It's a small convenience with no drawback. Cons: -None I honestly can't think of any bad things to say about this mouse. Maybe in the future it will break down and become unusable, but if it lasts for a little as a year I'll be happy with it and immediately buy another one. Preferably it will last for a few years, but for the price I honestly would not consider that a point against it. I love the way it looks. This of course is subjective and people may disagree with me but to each their own. There are mice out there with more buttons, more RGB, and other features I don't even know about, but I don't think I would trade any of them for mine. I just hope they don't discontinue production for a long time to come, or realize their mistake in pricing and increase it.

M711 Best Mouse Ever!!
First I have to say that as a Computer Tech I have used a ton of different mice over the years. I had been using a Microsoft mouse that I have really liked fore many years. I wanted to add some pizzazz to my set up so I recently added a gaming keyboard. I wanted a mouse that would complement the keyboard so I started looking at different brands of mice comparing features and reading reviews. I wanted the best without breaking the bank. After much consideration, I purchased the M711 and it is the best mouse I have ever used, period. I use it for some gaming but also for daily use as well. Since I hate using any extra software, I wanted one that would have settings available when I first plug it in. Upon receiving the mouse, I was very pleased with the quality of the way the mouse was packaged. I already knew the quality I was about to find inside. The mouse has a quality and solid feel to it when using it. It is extremely comfortable. I have an average size hand and it feels so good to use it. No hand fatigue at all. The DPI settings are easily changed on thew fly with the pre-programmed buttons on the top of the mouse behind the scroll wheel. You can also make some fine adjustments with the mouse settings right in Windows. You do not have to install the included software to enjoy this mouse. I cannot review the software since I have never installed it or had a need to. There were enough settings to play around with just using the top buttons of the mouse. If you really want to customize the colors, you can install and do so using the software disc included. I am using this mouse mainly for everyday use and the couple of games I do play, it works like a charm. The scroll wheel has a solid feel and is very accurate. The left and right click buttons are wonderfully comfortable to use and are actually quite quiet. The lighting effects are great and add a nice touch to all the other great features. The best part, this device will not break the bank. This is a 5 star item all the way. Pros: Solid feel. Quality construction. No software needed. Comfortable and glides easily across the mouse pad. Perfect Price. Cons: None

Best Mouse Ever
I am incredibly thorough when I research any item I am going to purchase. I looked through an incredible variety of mice and was looking for one that would be relatively universally applicable to all programs and games to replace my Logitech G300 which is uncomfortable and awkward. I use my high end custom built pc for both work and gaming, I mostly play competitive shooters but I also play a number of RPGs and MMOs. I was looking for a mouse that would be first and foremost comfortable in my hand, and second be a very accurate and smooth mouse with higher DPI. I was originally steered towards the DeathAdder which is similar in style but after further investigation into some poor reviews I felt I needed to keep looking. This mouse is similar, but MUCH better even if the cost was the same. This mouse is very clearly well made with a beautiful wrapped cord and incredibly stunning LEDs. It came in a very sleek gray box (although I may throw out, this box is nonetheless a good first impression). It is beyond comfortable in my hand and smooth as butter. The mouse wheel is better than any I have seen and all of the button layouts are perfectly positioned. This mouse is top of the line, yet budget priced. Stop searching and buy this mouse.

Great mouse! Accurate! For right handed users!
This mouse is very responsive and the mouse button are very clicky. I like this mouse better than the previous one I used because there are less buttons other than the two on the left side. The one I had tried before had 4 extra buttons on top flanking the left and right sides of the mouse. That made playing games more complicated and I was often tapping the wrong button. The buttons to control the DPI while using the mouse are located on top of the of the mouse. They give you more accuracy and control when playing FPSs. The lights are colorful and are easy to see in the dark. If you are right handed and don’t want an over complicated to play games, this mouse is for you.

Lighting isn't super obvious, but mouse is solid and feels really great
This mouse is a nice size for me (adult female) but feels a bit small for my giant son (also adult). The texture on the surface that a hand rests on is gloriously smooth and the various options for controlling the cursor movement and scroll wheel are very nice and have wide ranges - from quite slow to super fast/quite small to super far, respectively. The light settings are fine - one color or effect affects the entire mouse (e.g., you cannot set the mouse wheel to be yellow, while the emblem and side lines are red). You need the software to select the color for each effect, and then you can use button #8 on top of the mouse to select which effect you wish to use (from full on to full off, rainbow, breathing, wave, etc). As far as usage of the device, it is plug-n-play. The software does much more than just allow the LED colors to be set. It also allows quite detailed customization of each button and the scroll wheel, and allows you to save five profiles so that if you want certain buttons set up for working in Photoshop, but want different buttons available for playing an FPS game, you can save both - that's going to be super handy for me. All in all, I think this is a fine mouse, and for the money it's top. I only gave 'ease of use' four stars because of the lack of instruction on how to set up the LED stuff.

Great mouse for the price
I love this mouse! The colors are pretty cool. Though the software could be WAY better. It's a bit confusing to use and when you hit save it doesn't always take. After playing around with it a bit it works fine. They really should work on updating that software. The mouse is great and I love the cable it comes with it. Way better then the standard cheap plastic other mice come with. Also the box this mouse came in was awesome! I felt like I had bought some top of the line mouse based on the packaging alone. Not some cheap plain cardboard box, but a nice cool plastic box that made it look like some weapon case.

Good Value
I was looking for a mouse to replace my Razer Death Adder, which had long ago developed the dreaded (and apparently common) double click issue. I wanted something sturdy, with a similar design and function. So far, the Cobra has been the answer to all of these - the shape is almost identical to the Death Adder that I loved, fitting my hand ideally, the buttons are responsive and clicky (this is a plus for me, it may not be for everyone), and the software to control it is easy to understand and set up. The movement is very fast and smooth and I've had to even lower the DPI to be able to keep up with the pointer. The lights are a nice bonus, but I'd love it even without them. And I can't beat the price. I'm hoping it will last me a good long time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mouse that doesn't cost you a second mortgage to buy it.
