Great small pellet feeder

Love this feeder for small fish pellets, though I do not recommend it for flakes as the distribution method is that the cylinder turns and the pellets fall out of holes- therefore flakes would not come out and feeding would fail. The large food container is long and keeps the pellets from humidity so they stay dry and move freely. This feeder works great and have made life that much simpler for us, especially on vacation.

Simple and reliable

I got this to feed my fish while I was gone for a week and it worked perfectly! It was easy to set up the days and times you want to feed. It holds quite a bit of food! For my 10 gallon I think if I filled it up all the way it would last around 4 or 5 months before needing a refill. I've continued to use the feeder even after I got home from my trip simply because it's so easy to use.

Nice unit at a fair price.

Left my over crowded 55 gallon tank for 3 days and nights. There is a little figuring and understanding in the programming and dropping the correct amount of food. When I returned, the feeder only had a small amount of food left for the next feeding. The fish (large African Cichlids") were all doing very well. Yes, I would recommend this feeder for those who plan on leaving for only a few days "unless you have only a few fish", then longer. Made of plastic. I had to devise my own method of attaching the feeder above a small hole in the hood of my tank. The feeder comes equipped with an attached plastic vise to secure it. You may have to put your brain to work in devising your own place to locate it. This feeder saved me from asking possibly untrustworthy people in my house while away.

This fish automatic feeder has been a life safer. I bought this because we are mostly not home during the day a d we have big fish in our aquarium. This feeder is just what i need to keep my fishes well fed throughout the day. I set it up for 4 feedings every 2 hours. The Set up is easy because it is digital and you can also set how much food you would want to give. It’s perfect for my fish.

Works as described.

We got this to replace our super old one. It was super easy to install and use. Has a large door so it's not easy for the food to jam or crust over inside of it, unlike our old one. Does exactly as described. We tested it out for a few days before taking off for the weekend to make sure it worked properly and that our fish would be fed. We feed them a few times a day and was able to program this to continue on with the feeding cycle. I liked that this had the option to feed up to four times a day and do a double feeding, for if you had lots of fish, where our old one had twice a day, 12 hours apart and that is it. We are very pleased with this purchase. This feeder stays so much cleaner than our last one and is just all around easier to use.

Cleaner water, great feeder!!!

We ordered this before leaving for Thanksgiving. It is so easy to set up. We have 1 12” goldfish and 2 3-4” gold fish and set it up to feed 4 times a day at its max amount. It doesn’t feed much but my fish have stopped stalking me to feed them & the water is stays SO much clearer! Apparently I was over feeding them at too far spaced intervals. Great product I wish I had ordered 6 years ago! If over filled it doesn’t let much food fall at all, so don’t over fill. I’m sure I slightly over filled it and so far it has lasted 2 weeks. It appears it will easily feed a 3rd week & possibly 4. I’m impressed!!!

Auto fish feeder with 4 different feeding time.

Hello everyone, greetings. This review is about the auto fish feeder I’ve recently purchased. Initially, I must say that I’m happy with the feeder. In the 60g aquarium I got, I have all but tropical fish. My favorite is the pleco, as it blends with the substrate or rocks, it’s very hard to notice with a solid camouflage. Anyway, this fish feeder was what I needed to save my weekends from returning home to feed the fish :) though I’d never skip otherwise ;) The auto fish feeder came with batteries. As soon as it arrived, I was able to set it up in the front side end of the tank. I wanted it to be away from the water fountain and the filters because if the food gets humid, it’s a hassle to break it down and let it dry. In my case it worked out just fine. The feeder has a storage that says up to three months of supply if you fill it up. I’d never go beyond two weeks anyways because of water changes I get done periodically to keep the tank in good shape. Also I got some live plants growing and it’s a great addition to the tank. This feeder enables you to set up to four different feeding time right after you set the time right. I scheduled two separate feeding time which was good enough for the fish. One cool feature I liked is the food container adjuster. I don’t know if it’s called something else anyway. I adjusted the feeding amount to be about one pinch size. Something you have to figure if the fish food pieces are relatively large in size, then you have to play with the adjuster bar to see how much food is out at every turn. These were all pros and these make the feeder a fine product. Though, securing the feeder on the top part of the tank can be a bit of challenge. You can still secure it after playing with it. In my opinion, it’s easy to operate, everything can all be set after inserting the batteries, adding the food in the container and changing the adjuster to release certain amount. It takes minutes to get everything started. I hope you find this review helpful. Thank you very much. A note; as you see in the picture, the feeder was near the filter and after so many days, I noticed that the food inside turned to a big chunk food. I had to break it down so it could function appropriately. Then I had to move it away from the filter to avoid the problem. I hope that helps.
