Worth every penny!
I'm playing through the original Kingdom Hearts games on PS2, and having the option of using a newer and wireless controller on this console is nothing short of the dream to my 15 year old self. This thing works flawlessly, connecting to the PS4 controller I used immediately after tethering via USB briefly to sync. This is a no-brainer for any retro gamers with a PS2 and is well worth the money.

Exactly what I needed
I am a retro gamer, atari, nes, sega master system.. But I love my PS2. This lets me wire up a Dual Shock 4 and use it with the Playstion 2. No messing around - just plug it in and it works. Quality plastics as well. I wish they could have compacted it down so it was just an adapter and not a dongle.

Great product, works as advertised
Good product, works great as advertised. Allowed me to pair a ps4 controller to wirelessly play ps2 or ps1. Also seems to work with some ps2 to Other console adapters. I've gotten it to work with ps2 adapters for Original XBox and PC Engine Duo-R. It did not work with adapters I have for the gamecube or sega saturn, so... it varies. It's worth noting that all of these adapters work fine with the logitech ps2 wireless controllers, so not entirely sure what the issue is. It is a little pricey, but I couldn't find anything else to allow me to play with a ps4 controller on a ps2.

Great Adaptor - Fully Featured and Best Way to Play Wirelessly on PS1 & PS2
This adaptor is simply incredible and is worth the price. I was in need of a new PlayStation 2 controller but didn't really like the idea of going back to it after having grown so accustomed to the DualShock 4. First and foremost, I was surprised an adaptor like this even existed, secondly, I was a bit hesitant to purchase after seeing the price point and the relative lack of information about it. Thankfully, my skepticism was all for nought because these adaptors are simply incredible. They support rumble (a very nice feature) but also the toggling of analog on and off for older titles. I've also tired the PS3 controller with this adaptor and it works just as well if you're more accustomed to the feel of the PS1/2/3 controllers. This is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone who'd like to play older PlayStation titles with a more modern and wireless controller.

Better than Expected
Right away, I installed the 1.14 firmware update (8/15/19). Directions were unclear--First you download the software from Brook's website, then you have to hold the button down WHILE plugging it into your computer for the software to recognize it. After that, you update and you're off to the races. I tried this with my DualShock 4 and it works flawlessly. It's like with the PS4 itself--connect your controller via Micro USB to the Brook adapter, then press the DualShock 4 button to "register" it with the adapter. Now, it connects flawlessly and "remembers" the Brook device as the Bluetooth target to connect to. I was surprised to learn that USB power is apparently unnecessary, at least with my PS2 Slim. I discovered this when I was shutting things down after my first gameplay session—the red light on the Brook adapter stayed on when I unplugged from the PS2's USB port. Sure enough, my controller was still working! It's an expensive device, but it beats the hell out of hunting for old PS2 wireless controllers with dicey quality.

Works good
Hey, I got about 10 hours of game play on this here deal and it works flawlessly with a dualshock 3 and with my hori rap4. It loses connection every now and then with my dualshock 4. Oh there ain't no keyring coming with it but you get some stickers instead. I would definitely buy another for a second player if I had friends.

Works on both PS1 and PS2!
I bought this to use my PS3/PS4 controllers on my PS2. I'm happy to say that both types of controllers work flawlessly on the PS2. Surprisingly, I was also able to use this device on the original PlayStation! So now I can use PS3/PS4 controller on both PlayStation & PlayStation 2. On both consoles it was just plug & play. On the PS3 controller I had to press the Start button to activate it, and one the PS4 controller I pressed the Options button. Two thumbs up! /EDIT: BTW I didn't receive the key chain that was advertised with this product. I wasn't purchasing this product for the key chain anyway, but this product is made by Brook... not Game3Gear.

Why bother with knockoff wireless controllers when you can get this?
Wow. This is exactly what I've wanted all my gaming life. I have a lot of controllers for all PlayStation models, but having cables strung across the living room is annoying at best and dangerous at worst. I've tried the knockoff wireless Dualshock-esque cheap controllers and they eat battery like nobody's business. This is the real deal. The hardest part was finding a Mini-USB cable to pair it with a PS3 controller, but it's been a flawless experience otherwise. I haven't tried the button remapping, because out of the box the PS3 and PS4 controllers map exactly as you'd expect them to. This product is an absolute game-changer and I recommend it to anyone looking to go wireless with their original PS2.

Brook Does it Again!
It's unfortunate that Brook isn't as well known in the gaming community. They've been around for a while and have always created quality products that exceed expectations. Well known in the fighting game community for custom PCBs that are easy to install and use for custom arcade sticks - they also have a history of making quality controller converters. This device allows you to pair a PS3 or PS4 DualShock to use via a wired or wireless connection with either a Playstation 1 or 2. Even better, it also allows the use of your arcade sticks with these legacy consoles as well. My Hori Real Arcade Pro Hayabusa for PS4 hooks up via the USB connection on the device and also works flawlessly. As good quality, authentic PS1 and 2 controllers are becoming harder and harder to find - and brand new ones are quite expensive, this device will ensure you have plenty of controller options for your legacy Sony systems for quite a few more years. A little pricey, but trust me, the quality is well worth the price of admission.

Works surprisingly well
I'm skeptical of a lot of these sorts of cheap dongles. A lot of the time they *sorta* work but are flaky or have some weird gotchas. Not so here! This makes a PS2 function with a PS4 controller as if it was meant to be. The only feature you don't get, obviously, is using the PS button to suspend/shutdown the device.
