My 3.5 year old LOVES it!

We went with all nature themed gifts for my 3 year old son this Christmas. We opened presents today with our family and my son LOVES this.. his favorite is the whistle/compass tool (which is a good pitch, thankfully not obnoxious like other whistles) he loves the magnifying glass and the flashlight as well! We have already had lots of nature exploring adventures in our garden today and I'm grateful for this little kit! Great for the outdoor explorer!

I love this outdoor kit! I bought this for my 1-year-old to take to Bryce Canyon. He loved carrying his little suitcase, and discovering nature with this kit. This kit helped him to become a Junior Ranger. I especially loved the way that that the flashlight doesn't need batteries! This helped me to not panic about always making sure that it was off, and I didn't need to pack extra batteries for it.

We love our adventure kit

We love our adventure kit, and will soon be ordering another, it is perfect size no to be a hindrance during a good hike, and gave the kids more to do on our hike and got them more involved, my daughter's favorite was birdwatching with the little binoculars, and my son seemed to always know the right way to go ;) thank you!

Cute for outdoor adventures with the kiddo

This is so cute. I got my almost 4 year old hiking stuff for her birthday. The exploration kit was all we needed to top it off. This is wrapped up and ready to give her on her birthday. I cannot wait to give it to her. She's absolutely going to enjoy our hikes with this explore kit. LOVE!

Neat product

My nephew loved this gift! The hand crank flashlight was an instant hit. "No batteries and it still lights up?!?!" He is five and his younger brother is 2 and even he was excited by this gift. I sent an email ~ the tin arrived quite dinged up. I was able to pop it out and the lid still closes, but there are still some dents. Also, the Compass doesn't work. It bobs around but doesn't change direction. I understand that this is a kids toy but I am curious to know if it is broken or intended to be "fake". Either way, I'm quite happy with this product. The kids have been playing with it for 3 days now and I haven't heard of any mishaps yet.

Good gift for young kids.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas (she's 6), and everything in the kit is pretty good quality, considering that it's meant for kids. The binoculars are really good, the compass is high-quality, and the whistle even has a mini compass on it. My only complaint is that after about a month and a half, the flashlight no longer works. It did work when we first got it, but now no matter how much you crank it, it won't hold a charge. But overall, it's still a good package, and my niece had it out the other night and told me she was pretending to camp with her explorer's kit. My goal in getting this for her was to inspire her to want to get outside more and explore, so it seems like it did the trick!

Great well made products!

Perfect for our five year old grandson! He loves exploring our property when he visits weekly. And he always wants to use our very good binoculars. Yikes! Look forward to giving it to him to keep at our house when he visits next week.

Great kit! Everything works and is good quality.

This is such a great kit. My (3) year old loves it. A gift for his birthday. He's a big outdoors guy. Now I have to buy another one for his sister (6). All the parts work and even with some dropping and dragging along the trail, nothing has broken! I would buy these for all my little adventure buddies!
