I have a new electric wacker. Ive already gone through 3 rolls of B&D line. The line is typical in that it jams and has to be reset multiple times AND it uses an excessive amount of line to whack my measely .25 acre property! This product is thicker, stronger and uses less line because there's NO breakage. IT ALSO DOES A MUCH BETTER JOB OF EDGING!!. Its cheaper too, so what else do you need??? PS I have yet to reset the line during my first run around the property! Imagine that! 10 STARS!!!

Weed whacking is a thankless job: Seems like ya just get started and the line runs out. Stopping to remove the spool, search through the garage for the replacement line and then sit and wind it laboriously on the spool. By the time you're done, you're plumb out of the mood. So we thought it was a great notion to buy some extra spools and wind 'em up while watching TV, then just pop in the replacements as needed without losing the oomph to keep working. Boy, were we surprised to see these rascals came with the line already pre-wound on the spools. A really good buy!

I prefer these a lot to the Black & Decker brand. First, they cost a lot less than I paid at Home Depot where I bought the weed whacker. Not only are they a perfect fit, the inside of the spools (that you wrap your trimmer line around) is smaller, meaning that you get more line with them than you do with the Black & Decker brand if you buy them since they're pre-filled, and you can re-string them with more trimmer line when you refill them yourself. That's handy because you run through these spools quickly, especially when using the trimmer sideways to trim along walkways, etc. since the Black & Decker trimmer is designed to spin much quicker when used for that purpose. I run through two or three spools easily, depending on how quickly the grass is growing between cuts and trimming.

I just finished my first spool and am happy to report that I noticed no difference at all from these and the name brand spools. If anything, I like them better because they last longer with the extra length so you don't have to change them out as often. I had NO issues with the auto feed either. So I am very happy with this product and if they stay the better value, I will continue to buy them.

I use my electric trimmer for trimming and edging. I'm a weekend yard warrior, so I don't spend a lot of time making sure that I line the trimmer up to edge correctly. This line works great. No tangles, easy off and easy on and it gets the job done. No complaints from this user.

I looked at several brands of these spools, and this is by far the best price. Plus, each spool is 10 feet longer than most of the other brands I was looking at. Great price without sacrificing any quality.

Please note that even Black and Decker spools come improperly wound sometimes. For the money this cannot be beaten. You get 3 for the price of two B&D. Plus with the extra 10 feet per roll its like getting 4 rolls of B&D brand! So you get twice the value! Plus it's just as easy to use as B&D so there you have it, why pay more? It's just as good but last longer! Works for me!

The Mission 3 spool pack was half the price of the B&D three spool refill. Their spools are said to be loaded with 40' of line compared to 30' on the B&D spools. I ran out of line that came with the trimmer and replaced it with the Mission spool. My impression was that the new line was was stiffer than the B&D line. Used it mostly for edging and it performed well. Will buy again.

I bought a B&D electric trimmer back in July, and finally had the opportunity to use it. As expected, the spool that came with the beast ran out fairly quickly. When I bought the trimmer, I also invested in a three-pack of preloaded spools from Mission Cables. The swap was easy and quick, and the trimmer was back in business. To be sure that I had enough of them, I bought a second package of spools. As the saying goes, better to have and not need than to need and not have. Thanks to Mission for an excellent product. God bless!

Well I tried to keep using my string trimmer even after the cap was worn down very thin. When it comes apart the string gets to flyin' around and I found out how bad it stings when it does. I will not make this mistake again. LOL Order a new CAP when it gets worn down.
