Great Range!

I am an amateur radio operator and purchased this product as an introduction to radio for granddaughter. They are great! I have had several Walkie Talkies the range is impressive easily covering the 0.5 miles between her house and mine. We have thoroughly enjoyed them.

Great For Family Camping With Kids!

Bought these to use between myself and my kids (both age 7) while on a camping trip. We were in a State Park that had lots and lots of trees, hills, etc. These worked VERY well for that type of terrain but only if they didn't go TOO far. I would say the farthest they went was about 3/4 of a mile. These walkie talkies worked amazing for when they would take off on their bikes and ride around the loop that everyone had campers parked on. They would check in and let me know where they were or I could contact them and ask where they were. My kids liked the 'talk' button in the front too. The sound was perfect and the clips stayed on the waistband of their shorts without a problem. I also like that if you hold the 'Menu' button down for about 4 seconds, it will lock the walkie talkie. So little hands from kids can't accidentally change the channel! The battery life also really impressed me. We had them on for at least 10 hours a day with no drainage! My one son accidentally dropped his in a creek and it still works just fine. Crazy. We bought the yellow ones in a 4 pack. These worked great, especially when you're camping in a place that you do not get cell service. We also used them between cars while riding home and they worked perfectly. The only issue I had was one of the walkie talkies was stuck in talking mode right out of the box and wouldn't un-release itself. We couldn't use it but Amazon gave me a 25% refund. I bought two more with the refund!

Great fun for kids

Kids ages 6-12 received 1 each of these walkie talkies for Christmas and have been loving them. Favorite present and great for playing nicely all together! I'm glad that I chose these rechargeable ones or we would have burning through batteries like crazy. I wouldn't really care about all the extra sounds, but the kids enjoy that feature. They've ridden their bikes out of sight and can still communicate so the distance is reasonable for what we wanted. Excited to bring them camping. I'm curious to see how well they last - will edit if necessary but hopefully they hold up well. Although I didn't get one for myself, there's nothing about these that make them for kids-only. Sound quality seems good. If they meet your distance requirements, I think they would be good for adult use as well.

UPDATE****** AFTER BEING CONTACTED BY THE COMPANY, THEY SENT US NEW RECHARGABLE BATTERIES AND WE ARE SO HAPPY!!! They work, hold a charge for days of inconsistent use and my kids don't get sad when it is time to charge them now. I COMPLETELY recommend this product and company Batteries don't last worth a crap. They held their charge once and now we can't get them to charge at all. Having to use the expensive disposable batteries.

Great value for the quality of radios that come with rechargable batteries and a dual charger.

I bought these for my 8 year old son for his birthday and he loves them. He uses them daily to play outside with his friends and also uses them with his 10 year old sister inside on rainy days. I showed them both how to use them once and they've never had any issues using them on their own and even show their friends how to use them. The batteries last quite a long time and recharge fairly quick. the range is really good in the neighborhood, I have no problem communicating clearly with them even when they take it around the neighborhood up to a 1/4 mile away to get their friends. They also work great with a wired earpiece and mic which makes them feel like secret agents my son says. In fact they love them so much I plan on purchasing another set of them in a different color for my daughters birthday. I would definitely recommend purchasing these for your kids and I might even get a pair for myself to. Hope this is helpful.

One clip broke off the back on one and then the same one just stopped working completely on the second use. Update: the company contacted me to replace the walkie talkies and they work perfectly! Would definitely recommend purchasing.

Walkie Talkies

I am very happy with these walkie talkies, they have great range and are rechargeable. I like that the charger is one piece but splits at the end to charge both at the same time, easier to keep track of one cord. There is a bright light you can activate on the top which I think will make it fun to use them in the dark. Also has a clip on the back to attach to a backpack or your pockets.They are lightweight so carrying one in my pocket doesn't weigh me down. They sound clear and I have yet to have any connection issues. These would be a wonderful Christmas gift.

I ordered the blue walkie talkies for my 4 and 8 year old boys for our campground. They love them and always make sure they have these on them at all times which is a plus for me so I can communicate with them! Super easy to re-charge and the same time. The display is bright and clear, range and frequency is great, and the sound quality is also great. The little flashlight on them is a plus too!

I bought a set of walkie talkies for my son and at first I had problems with the batteries and I reached out to the seller and he was AMAZING ! he mailed me batteries even though he did not have to because once he told me to change the batteries and charge the walkie talkie with the batteries IN the problem was solved. The batteries that this item comes with are not the greatest so you will think the toy is dead but wait for it.... it is not! Batteries are super cheap but quality of the walkie talkie is great. best money ever spent, my son loves them !
