Update 1/2/19: I felt the jumbo was too large for my dog, so I got one size down for her. The smaller one was of far less quality. On the jumbo, the things I call the "railings" (the 2 armrests) are very sturdy. Great for your dog to rest her head, curl up against, etc. On the smaller size, the "railings" are much weaker, floppy. They don't support my dog. I don't know why the same manufacturer can't make an equal product in various sizes. So, unless your dog is tiny, I would suggest the jumbo... which I still maintain is GREAT. I don't know who likes this bed more, the cats or the dog. My dog loves, loves, loves this bed, and likes to prop her head on the side piece, although, since mommy's the other way, she usually sleeps on the opposite side. But since there are two side "railings," her body is usually against the long side. When she's not on it, the cats are. They sit huddled up in the corner where the "railings" meet. Sometimes I have to take them off of it, so that my DOG can use the DOG bed. This bed is HUGE, and I actually think I could have easily gotten the size down. Since I was just adopted by my dog, this is my first dog bed purchase... and any other bed would fail in comparison. Truly cannot say enough positive things, though I can make one suggestion: make the entire thing waterproof with the top cover washable. The top cover is removable and washable... but if they pee on it, it would soak to the mattress. A bed this big would be a bitch to wash, as you'd need a huge, industrial washer. I'm putting a single bed waterproof mattress over it.

We absolutely love this bed! My lab is 100+ pounds and getting up there in age (11 years) and this bed is perfect for him. I was genuinely surprised at how large/soft it ended up being - it's perfect to snuggle up with them on! It did take a little bit of getting used to...they are used to their Costco beds (which are also nice!) But once they realized it was a comfy bed it's all they lay on! I know once it gets colder in WA its going to be a favorite place for them to rest. For my lab it was a perfect size but we definitely could have sized down. Our dogs all like to sleep together though, so for that it was perfect :) we love!

My husband and I purchased this bed for our doberman. He is an elder dog who is terminal and needs an extra cozy bed as he is very thin, achy and needs the support. He wagged his lil nub tail and walked right over to the bed as soon as I unpacked it. He was excited and hopped right on. I swear he slept hours before moving which is rare for him. The bed was ultra cozy, soft, plush, comfortable and relaxing for our doberman. We all loved the color and style! Has a nice pillow lip along the bed which is perfect for when he wants to rest his head. He LOVES it, we LOVE it! <3

I am SO glad I ordered this bed. My lab is about 100 lbs and this bed is PERFECT. There is room to spare and he really likes using the pillow. The bed is 4 inches thick and the pillow area is 7 inches thick. The Stone Gray color is beautiful...very nice looking bed! My dog moves this bed around the house depending on where I am. It is super light and I LOVE it.

Bed is huge and after you let it air out it expands to the full size...my dog is about 110lbs and the bed does not sink in with him on it. Highly recommend! Do let it air out for a few hours though because it has a slight chemical smell when you open it as most foam products do.

WOW!! My big boy, Red, is a 13 year old, 115 pound Golden Retriever. He's been having trouble walking and I can tell he hurts. It's just old age. When I took this out of the package (ordered XL) last night and put it on the floor he stepped on it and that was it. He turned 3 times and was asleep. So Far so good. The real wonder came this morning when he stood up, He didn't struggle to rise and he stretched!!! It been a long time since I've seen him stretch. He walked down the stairs without help and went out side to help our younger dog, White, chase chipmunks into the wood pile. I'm not saying he was spry, just that he was interested in more than sleeping on the front porch. We've had it for one day... what a difference a day makes.

This bed is really nice for the price and is much more attractive looking than the Costco dog beds and any other reasonably priced one I’ve found. I bought this for my golden retriever. He’s still a puppy, right now he’s 5 months old and weighs about 45 pounds. I got him the XLarge so it would hopefully last as he grows; so far we’ve had it about a month and a half and it’s held up well to a puppy that abuses it somewhat. Luckily he’s not too much of a chewer-if your dog chews, the outer material of this bed isn’t super durable; it’s good quality but likely won’t hold up to much chewing. The inside is a thick piece of that egg crate-type foam and the raised side portion is a long single pillow piece that folds. There are two zipper pockets, one for each pillow. I’ve washed my dogs bed twice in hot water with regular detergent when he’s had fleas this summer and then air dried it so it wouldn’t shrink. My husband has always put it back together without any problems and it looks like when we bought it. Our dog enjoys sleeping on it and sometimes I sit in it with him to play. I’m glad it washes well because he likes eating chews in it and they get stuck to the cream colored center. I think it will be big enough for him to grow into and he’ll always fit in it. It honestly looks identical to the $200 dog bed I wanted from the fancy dog store.

I almost didn't purchase this for fear that I'd end up with an egg crate bed - check the description of the style to be sure, but I ordered the Deluxe Chaise and the inside is definitely thick memory foam topped with the cooling gel foam. I have a dog who regularly chooses to lie on cold tile to stay cool, and he took to the bed immediately. I have a 50lb Australian Shepherd who likes to sprawl out, and the Jumbo is probably bigger than he needs, but I don't regret it! Much better quality bed than similar styles in chain stores that go for double the price!

This bed is very nice and solid for the price. Only time will tell if it’ll stand up to regular use, but so far my 120 lbs. worth of dogs fit comfortably on it together, and it doesn’t sag under their weight. As I write this review, the Boxer’s snores are resounding in approval! If my two start sleeping apart more often, I’ll definitely buy a second one, but they mostly prefer to snuggle together and the jumbo size bed is big enough for them to share.

I bought this bed to put into my Boxer puppy's crate so he is off the bottom of it a little. It is by far one of the best beds I've ever bought! My guy loves it - he sleeps in his crate any time the other dogs are napping, he just goes and get in his crate, stretches out on his bed, and a snooze he is! The Chaise Lounge style is great having two cuddle sides. It works well for his crate set up and he lays with his head on one of the sides like a pillow. This is the third bed I've tried for him and it is definitely the charm, so much so the older Boxer will go get in the crate and lay on it. I imagine being an orthopedic bed it helps with the pressure points on her old bones as well as with the very rapidly growing puppy too! It is very well put together. The seems are good, the fabric is really nice, the main cushioning is not too thick and not too thin. It is easily cleaned. When it arrived I left it outside int he fresh air. There was a tag with it regarding maybe having a smell from manufacturing and to just let it air out. Which, I did and the smell went away. Just for reference, the puppy is 14 months old, he is 24 inches tall at his shoulder and goes around 70lbs. He fits on this size bed pretty well and it fit into the large size crate with just a fraction of a gap between the bed and crate side. I'll be buying another bed in the future! The price is great for the quality of bed it is. I would expect a bed like this to be $70 or more in the pet store. ...(Sorry for the law quality photo)
