You need this to make no-knead bread dough!

Very nice product. I use this scale to make new batches of dough for no-knead bread. When dough container is almost empty I can just start next supply of dough by not washing container and using the tare function on the scale to make a new batch. The remnants of the old dough will help develop more flavor in the new dough batch. Indespensible!

Above Standards-Great Value

The price I paid during this review is 11.97. Well putting all into account this little machine it’s quite good. You definitely get your money’s worth. When I first got the package it felt like the item was going to be cheap based on the price. However, the item proved me wrong. The quality seems great and the measuring it’s quite accurate. The great thing is that it goes around different scales of weight which is quite helpful. Many purposes, not just for the kitchen but just weighting items in general. While searching amazon there were products that had the same scales and features and they were double or triple the price. I am quite happy with this item.

Easy to Use, Very Accurate

I am using this scale to first, build my son's Pinewood Derby car, and secondly, to measure out my bread ingredients. The scale has an easy to use tare function, and when weighing my son's car multiple times, the accuracy is spot on. I even tested the weights before adding them to his vehicle, then again to check the total weight, and they added up each time as expected. The one minor issue I had was that it only came with three rubber feet, missing its fourth one. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not nitpicky, at all, but you can't use a three legged scale. I just pulled off the three rubber feet so that only the plastic one's under were left, easily fixable. And clearly, it doesn't affect the use or accuracy.

Better power-off timeout than similar products.

Works fine, bright display, auto-tare works fine. I especially liked the power-off timeout. Most scales wait X seconds then shut down. This one shuts off the bright backlight fairly quickly (which really helps the battery life) but the actual scale keeps working and doesn't shut off until quite a bit later. if you just touch it, the backlight comes back on. This avoids you having to re-weigh.

It's great! It's a small scale

It's great! It's a small scale, which is great for storage. It looks pretty sleek. The weighing is consistent no matter where on the scale you balance the weight. I bought this because I was tired of reading "2 pounds of cabbage blessed by mother mary herself" on recipes, and being able to take care of the mother mary part, but not the 2 pounds part. Now I can make my soup with the peace of mind that I haven't egregiously miscalculated how much of whatever ingredient I need to add. I can cook very well, and I make it work, but sometimes its nice not to have to put in a lot of guesswork. The price is right, and it makes me happy. Now go weigh some cabbage.

Kitchen Necessity

After dropping our kitchen scale and shattered the tempered glass surface, we found the Mueller Kitchen Scale on Amazon. We received the item one day after placing the order. We have used the scale several times already. It is light and compact. I like the fact that you can weigh an item up to 11 pounds, not that this will occur often. It is easy to clean and easy to clean and easy to store. I like the fact that the scale uses "aaa" batteries. This product offers good value for the work it does.

5kg limit, Japanese precise weight tech, multi-unit display, LCD screen. I'm using this as a shipping package scale, where 5kg is a critical range of most packages and I will need very light weight precision for light weight packages, this scale will do all its job. And the reason why I won't buy an actual scale for shipping packages is because they are so huge, this kitchen/lab scale will do its job while I want to keep it as small as possible to save space. There is only one feature that I hope they can add which I see on my other body weight scale, the feature where once it detects weight being stabilizes, it will lock onto that weight recorded for 3-5 seconds, it's because sometimes the object that you are weighing is so big and it blocks the LCD screen. Overall, this scale is pure awesomeness for its price.

Great little kitchen scale

This little scale has helped a lot with Moms diet. She has to keep her carbs down and this little scale has 4 different weight measurement, the 2 used the most grams and ounces. I like the fact that I can zero it out after each item I add, allowing me to use one plate and building up on it. A great example of this is building a chef salad, so instead of measuring everything in separate container/plate I would just put the salad on, get the weight zero it out then add tomatoes get the weight then zero it out, and so on. I like the little rubber feet on the bottom and how easy it is to clean off. This scale has got a ton of use, in our kitchen, since purchasing it last month, I honestly don't know how we got along without it. This was a great buy!

Quality, well built!

I used this scale right out of the box. I pulled the plastic battery connector turned it on and started weighing the hamburger that I had freshly ground in the morning. The Tare function worked like a dream as I used the same plate to put the burger onto with each portion weighing 16 oz. I'll update the durability in a few months. For the reasonable price I was surprised by the quality of this scale!

Quick fix for reading digits on scale

I am already using my scale to measure ingredients for a bread making machine. The Mueller scale appears to be very sensitive, and extremely accurate.. and as a bonus takes up very little kitchen space. I would recommend it to friends and family and would buy another myself if something happens to this one! To those that need to be able to read the scale with the occasional large, wide bowl obscuring the digits.. Put a 4 inch Tupperware box on the scale, as a false floor, hit the TARE button to negate the weight of it and then put the wide bowl on top of the box!
