The SimpleHouseware Metal Desk Monitor Stand Riser with Organizer Drawer (I know, a mouthful!) is extremely well-made and intuitive to put together and use. The stand itself was plumb out of the box (it sat level on the desktop). The legs are in two separate pieces which slide into the tubular steel frame easily. Provided are the machine screws which lock the legs into place. The drawer is made of a strong mesh steel screen which slides via friction on the mount made into the top of the stand--a little WD 40 will make the drawer slide more easily. There are two, very conveniently placed baskets on both sides of the stand. They hold an iPhone 7 Plus in an Otterbox Defender case easily. The clearance beneath the drawer when it's open (see picture) is more than enough to pass over a mouse on a mouse pad. This stand is holding up a 22 inch monitor in the picture. I am extremely pleased with this stand. I purchased this to allow my secretary greater organization of her desk area--and it has helped her tremendously! It raises the monitor to a comfortable height to help prevent "slumping" to see the monitor while seated in front of it. I highly recommend this stand--well done!

Great for cleaning up the desk space and getting organized! There is also enough room to where I am able to push my keyboard underneath too when not in use. Putting it together took quite a bit of effort as the metal wasn't quite straight, but would still buy again. :)

I like this as it is sturdy, well made, I have a big 32" curved monitor and it fits perfectly with room to put other things on the top also, Did add a piece of non-slip shelf liner to keep monitor from sliding, it works perfectly. It has a spacious open from drawer that pulls out or can be removed. it is 11" deep front to back and 12.25" left to right; there is plenty of room for my keyboard to slip underneath, the pockets on the sides make great place to put things with out clutter to desk. when ordering consider the height of your monitor from desk top to the bottom on screen and add that to the height of the stand. It makes it eye level but I do have to look up to see the very top, however I am 5'5". It was easy to put together the holes are predrilled to attach legs. Would definitely purchase again.

Very nice desk riser. It was not expensive and arrived in a few days. Everything was better than expected. The stand is extremely sturdy and it holds a lot more weight than most other brands and materials. My monitor is a 32" TV and needed a strong riser. Love the little storage pockets on the sides. The drawer on the underside is very handy and there is still room to store the wireless keyboard underneath.

I recently changed my desk and the new style didn't allow for a lot of space for my office supplies, so I purchased this to take advantage of the air estate on my desk. It looks great and I love it.

I had originally planned to buy an under-desk drawer for my keyboard. But they were expensive and looked hard to install. I saw this product listed and decided to try it. I love it! It was easy to assemble, and now I can keep all my computer-related stuff handy. One benefit that I hadn't even realized is that now my laptop is at a better height for me; no more sore neck and back muscles! It works perfectly with my laptop and would be equally good with a desktop monitor. (I am using a separate keyboard with my laptop because the built-in keyboard is very difficult to use and very unforgiving.) Another plus is that the perforated metal of the desk stand keeps my laptop cooler than anything else I have tried. This is exactly what I was looking for, and I am very happy that I found it.

I really love this stand! It's sturdy enough to hold my 17" gaming laptop, and the pull-out drawer underneath has plenty of space to put my mouse and mouse pad. The "pockets" on the side are great for holding pens, USB drives, etc... Overall well worth the money spent. I am considering buying a second one. The only issue I could find was cosmetic - a dent near the corner of the top flat surface, which does not affect the stand in any way.

This is perfect and just what I was looking for in a monitor riser! Upon unboxing I was pleasantly surprised, the quality was more than I had anticipated. I also really like the height and side storage spaces. I have a full size keyboard and it fits perfectly underneath for when I need more desk space. There were four screws so make sure you have a Phillips head screwdriver, they all screwed in without a problem. I’m very pleased with this purchase! Thank you, this is just what I needed! :)

I originally bought this for its intended purpose - as a monitor stand but when I received it I realized I could fit my laptop quite comfortably on top of this stand. It's a great stand in that regard if you want something to put your laptop or monitor on top of. Material isn't the greatest, the steel and mesh are pretty thin and will not stand up to any level of abuse. Also there seemed to be a minor warp in the drawer of my particular product. It holds everything I need it to hold, and looks pretty good on my desk. My laptop is a Lenovo T460s 14 inch model. I think without a dock, you could set a 15 inch laptop on it if you want.

It took me quite a while to pick out that I wanted in a monitor stand. I knew I wanted one, and I knew it had to be sturdy. I have an older ACER Gaming Monitor, and the sucker is pretty heavy. I wanted something that could fit my giant Razer Cynosa Pro keyboard. And would have space to plop my Xbox One controller on. (Please don’t think I’m bragging, I just want you to know the dimensions I was working with.) at first I had been looking at a Bamboo stand. But then I thought about it more. Wood gets dirty easily, can warp, splinter, and if it’s not make correctly, it can be weak. So I started shopping around. I then saw another stand with a drawer, and figured how much of a boon that could be. So I put that into my demands. Finally I came across this one. It’s made of sturdy metal, has a nice powder coat finish which won’t show fingerprints, the top has a pattern of holes for breatheability, and he sides and drawers are great for storage. It’s easy to put together, you put the legs in, and they have one screw hole for each one. The screws are standard Phillips-Head. They’re also black. And they’re a good size. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a monitor stand, but doesn’t want to sell out $40+
