Awesome for kids learning - GREAT buy!!

This Orboot was everything I hoped it would be. A totally upgraded and way cooler version of the globe I knew and loved as a young kid! It’s Educational, a STEM toy, encourages learning through augmented reality and is totally interactive. Once you download the app, you can download all the features onto your smart tablet or iPad and use without WIFI, which is a big bonus for me! Tons of features for kids to explore (plus they earn coins which my boys think is awesome)! You can go over any area of the globe and learn about animals, culture, food, stories, maps and locations. Really an incredible supplement to learning geography and about our world. It also comes with a passport for your kids to really make them feel like they are “traveling” around the world with each learning experience. My oldest 5 is already reciting facts he has learned. My 4 year old can do it all alone and loves the animals and stories. My 2 year old even has gotten the hang of it a little! You won’t be disappointed!!

The + reviews aren’t hype!!

I read reviews religiously before purchasing products I’m not familiar with. I was a bit skeptical about such positive reviews but after receiving our Orboot, I’m convinced they’re authentic. The first thing I liked about the Orboot is the packing materials aren’t excessive (read: eco-friendly). While the directions are accurate, I still had a difficult time putting the glove into the base and reached out to their customer service team. They responded promptly and I had it up and running before the kids were home from school! My children just turned 4 & 6 and took to this immediately (even figuring out features on the app that were over my head). They were excited to “travel” the globe and the included passport and stamp were a nice touch. Best: while on a recent trip to DC, we saw a helicopter overhead and my 6 year old excitedly told us they were invented in Russia. I love having a toy that engages them, is educational, and gives me less screen-time guilt! I’m excited to see the new features on the horizon.

Engaging, Exciting and Educational! GREAT PRODUCT!

Our family LOVED the Orboot globe! As a teacher mom, I try to find educational STEM activities and this did NOT disappoint! It is the perfect learning toy for our family as we love to travel and enjoy interactive and engaging products. I love how excited our kids were about it and how they could each work on "their mission" independently from one another. This was our first introduction to augmented reality and we definitely want more! Each of our kids (ages 3, 6, and 9) enjoyed different categories that were in the app. Our youngest (3 years old) loved "matching things on her screen with the globe." It was a perfect game of hide-and-seek for her! Our middle child (6 years old) loved learning about the monuments and thought it was SO cool to see some of the places she's traveled before. Our oldest (9 years old) could have listened to the facts and stories all day long. A truly great item for families and classrooms to have! We also liked how it worked with all kinds of devices and was easy to install! From our Kindles to iPads, iPhones to Android. The app was easy to find, use, and navigate!!

Fabulous Homeschool Tool

This product was so easy to assemble and the app has been running daily without any issues. My 4yo loves this Globe. We are learning so much about culture, native animals and monuments (my son's favorite) and having the AR on the globe works amazingly well to show my son why the sun sets and rises, how far continents are from each other and how much water there is in the world. The Mysteries feature is the most interactive imo - my son and I do the mysteries together and they keep his attention and curiosity upwards of 20 minutes at a time. He loves seeing things that he is already familiar with (Pizza and the Eiffel Tower) and we are building on getting him comfortable with retaining new information. Fortunately, he asks to "Play Globe" everyday, surely the recurring info is hitting the gray matter. Best of all, it's been a wonderful bonding experience, sharing my knowledge, insight and experience with the stories from around the world. I'm ecstatic with the Orboot Globe. I wish the makers of Shifu will introduce the entire solar system or even pop-up atlases!! - Hey, Vivek, Dineshh -- call me ;-)

An educational and fun toy for children of all ages

My oldest 10, was excited to open the box right away and start exploring. I downloaded the app on both the iPhone and iPad which was very easy to do. After everything was set up the kids were ready to play. The app has different categories for the different places. To name a few they are inventions, animals, and cultures. My daughter wants to travel when she’s older and this educational toy gives her the tools to explore different parts of the world all while she’s in the comfort of our home. She’s already listed a few places she wants to visit based off of what the app has shown her. My youngest 2 doesn’t quite understand but she loves looking and playing with the globe itself. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to learn more about all of the different countries. Its one of those toys that will be used for many years and we are so excited to have this product.

Educational and fun - my kids love it

Our Orboot arrived this week, and I couldn't be happier. The recommended age is 4+, but it is a big hit with my twin 2.5-year-olds. Obviously, they can't use it without help, but once the app captures the stars on the globe, they love to interact with the features on the app. They wake up asking for sharks and turtles because the app lets you feed them and move them around. They're obsessed. This AR toy gave me a great opportunity to help my little ones and learn with them. The information included with each star is for slightly older kids, but I was able to pull some of the facts to share and point out while we explored together. The globe isn't heavy like a traditional globe, but it is pretty sturdy. My kids aren't gentle at their age, and it is holding up nicely. We travel a lot, and I can't wait to pull this out for each trip we take. It will make where we go more memorable before we even hit the road. This is more than just learning where to find something on a map. It is about learning the culture, animals, food and so much more. Each globe comes with a passport, passport stickers, and a Visa stamp to mark where they have "traveled". My husband is from Brazil, and it was such a big deal when they could put the Brazilian flag sticker in their passport. This is such a great interactive augmented reality toy, and I feel sure we will use it for years to come.
