A Blu Ray player that works!

Its perfect. We just needed a blu ray player because our Xbox One only plays blu ray disks one out of every 200 tries. Haha. The Sony Blu Ray player is super small, light and has such a great picture. It shipped quick and cane with an HDMI cable and micofiber cleaning cloth. Very nice! 👌

Spectacular

Both Blu-Rays and DVDs look spectacular on the player. And the Wifi connected fast without any issues. This is a wonderful product.

Tiny size but impressive performance

A cute little Blu ray player, very small but big in performance. I can now place a hold on a DVD and return to my original place the next day, something I could not do with my former Sony player. The remote is also very tiny. Works very well using an ethernet cable which is more reliable for me than wireless. Has every service imaginable available on the Home screen provided you are a subscriber to that service. There is a bit of a delay getting connected to whatever you want to watch and requires multiple clicks but eventually you get to where you want.

Little box, big sound...

I've only recently learned that these little players existed. I'm sure there's better stuff out there but for what comes in this kit suits our needs just fine. I like the video upscaling and sound that makes my TV go boom like I'm in a movie theater. I also really like the fact that everything you need comes in a kit. To the seller, thanks for putting that together. Amazon prime video here too so finally we're able to get a little extra out of our annual prime fees. Thanks for everything. I'd recommend... 😉👍

Great Blu-ray player at a great price!!

Great little Blu Ray player!!! It's nice and compact and works great! Setup was super easy too! It was an even better deal because the seller threw in an HDMI cable with it so I didn't have to buy one separately. This has to be one of the best Blu-ray players out there!

Are you buying a dvd player?

I am a man who has a lot of dvds, blu-ray dvds and music cds. I can play them on this player, that's right even the music cds. I love it and it was easy to set up. Actual very simple and fast. Took my old one out and put this one in. If you had to start from scratch an install it, it come with every thing including a hi speed cable for the tv. The only thing you might have to buy is a cable for the internet. I hit the jackpot when I ordered this I bought two. Looks good and plays great!

You can't beat this quality at this price

A very nice, high quality DVD player. The unit was dead simple to hook up with the included high speed HDMI cable (required cables are rarely provided by manufacturers and vendors of A/V equipment, this is a very nice touch on the part of the vendor). The first power on and setup couldn't be easier - the only thing you have to do is enter your Wi Fi password if you are using Wi Fi. You can also hook it up using a Cat 5 cable. The first power on takes a minute or two and you are then prompted to install a software update. Just select "continue" and go pour a cup of tea while the update installs - about 5 minutes in my case. And then you are ready to go. Upsides: gorgeous picture even for standard (non Blu Ray) DVDs. Comes with a lot of Streaming services installed. Setup couldn't be simpler - everything you need to set this up is in the box; no last minute dash to the store for batteries or video cables. The remote can be programmed to a few brands of televisions. I can think of only a couple of very minor Downsides: The opening screen is pretty cluttered with a large number of streaming services and you have to use the down button to get down to play your DVD - not a huge deal. And you can delete them off if you wish. Also, the instructions are pretty sparse, but this player is so easy to set up and use, you really don't need them. However, the instruction sheet is pretty emphatic about making sure you have all connections made before hooking up the power, so I would be careful to follow that advice. I wish the remote were slightly larger so the buttons weren't so close together (I especially dislike the large dedicated "Netflix" button right next to the Play and Fast Forward buttons which is easy to hit by mistake). My Downsides are pretty minor and you won't go wrong in a nice Blu Ray player at this very reasonable price.

So far so good

Easy set up and FINALLY our movies with play the entire way through! I had another highly rated brand blue at player in two rooms of my house but they started messing up after a year. I’m hoping Tj’s one will last a lot longer. We’ve had for a few months now and so far so good. The only issues I have with it is that the remote buttons are labeled very differently than what I’m used to and I can only literally use it to control my blu Ray player. If I want to switch to the tv or even just turn the volume up on the movie I have to use other remotes. Super annoying but I’ll deal.

Works well

Shipped very quickly, thanks! Excellent value. Unit is smaller than I expected, which is a plus for me. At first startup the picture was jittery and would pop out momentarily every few seconds. I tried replacing my existing HDMI cable (which worked fine on my previous DVD player) with the HDMI cable that came bundled with the new Sony -- no more jitters! Perfect picture and sound. The streaming Apps selection is good but the interface is not quite as fast to load as my AppleTV unit, but works well. I bought the Sony for the Blu-Ray, not the apps, so they're a bonus.
