Ordered two just to see if they will satisfy my lighting need. I was originally thinking I'd need 12 to do my 40x104 barn. But after installing two I'm certain 8 will give me plenty of light. I love the safety cable that comes with it since this will be a gym for my kids. Lights seem very well made and unreal bright. If you have low ceilings they maybe too bright I'm hanging them at 16ft and they are pretty intense. Lights seem to directly light a 30x30 space per light at that height.

I just installed two of these lights in one of my shop bays. They're hung from C-purlins about 15 ft above the ground. I already had HID metal halide lights (converted to LED) running on a 240V circuit so I just added another switch to control the new lights. Hooking up to 240V is no big deal, one hot lead to the black wire, the other hot lead to the white wire and connect the grounds. They are just as bright as the 400 watt equivalent corn bulbs I installed in the HID fixtures. Nice that the lights included a safety cable and carabiner clip. They were too short for my application so I just slipped a short piece of chain over the purlin and hooked the carabiner to it. Now to see how long they'll last. I'll be surprised if the lights last the 5 years. My house is all LED and I've had several fail in 2 to 3 years. Out of my 4 metal halide bulbs that I installed 12 years ago, two of them were original.

I'll admit it: I was skeptical that so small a fixture could provide that much light over a large area. But these things are amazing! I used 6 of them in my 20x60 shop with 14' ceilings and they delivered an impressive amount of light. I was also impressed with the quality of the lights; they're very sturdy and have good quality hardware. The safety leash is also a nice touch. They're not cheap, but when you start comparing lumens per fixture, they're actually less expensive than traditional fluorescent strip lights or the LED equivalent.

I have a 72x66 barn and I was thinking I needed 6 lights. I just purchased 2 of the 200 watt lights to see if I would like them I was so impressed with the amount of light output that I only purchased 2 more. I since just purchased only one for my 30x36 hay barn and it’s plenty for the need there. I ran electrical receptacles all on one switch s and just plugged the lights in. I hope they have longevity now.

This product has a solid build and functions very well. We used eight - 6 100 watt and 2-150 watt with the larger units above the rolling doors. We have a barn that is 40' x 50'. We hung four on each side along the long length. We ran a conduit and installed single receptacles in the J-boxes. These plug in and that worked fine. We hung them on a steel beam. We drilled holes and mounted an eye-bolt. From there, we used a double length of 200 pound chain to the hook on the fixture with a carabiner holding the chain to the eye-bolt. The safety cable clipped to the eye-bolt as well. The code requires the redundant hang. The light is bright and well diffused from 15 feet. I am hoping these will last a long time. All-in-all a good value and a well made product.

In addition to receiving one of these to review, I purchased several more on my own. These are very bright, power efficient, and easy to install. I replaced 6 mercury vapor lights and now pull the same power as one while producing much much more light. These meet all safety standards that I can tell and will pay for themselves in no-time! They do get rather warm, but that's expected with LEDs. No complaints and highly recommended!

I ordered two 150W lights for my 48ft x 20ft barn that I am enclosing. The barn is a steel truss pole barn kit with five total trusses. I put the two lights on the second and forth truss. Although it is well lit and doesn't need a third one in the middle, I'm going to add it just because of how bright, light weight and easy these are to install. Because it is LED it doesn't get hot and turns on immediately. I really like how you can just plug them in and don't need to go through the hassle of hard wiring it if you don't want to.

I bought 1 just to try in my shop. I have an 18' high ceiling so after you hang it on an eye bolt and the hook on the light plus the body of the light it puts the actual lights at about 17'. I had 400 watt Metal Halide lights that are nearly 20 years old. The lumens rating is almost twice as bright and it is so nice to have the instant on feature that LED's have. The old lights you could hear the inrush currant (the transformer) when you turn them on. These lights have none of that so you feel you can turn the lights off if you are only gone for 30 min. lunch break. I really don't know about the longevity as I have only had them installed now for a month. But i loved them so much I purchased 3 total so my entire shop has new lights. I don't think you will go wrong with these. They seem to be very well built. To sum it up, I LOVE THESE LIGHTS.!.!.!

I bought this high bay light and one from another manufacturer just to see if there was a difference and I was blown away by the hyperlite. I hung both lights about a foot apart plugged in the light that was so post to be equal to the one from hyperlite and it seemed to be a good light, then I plugged in the hyperlite with the other light still on and I was so surprised by how much brighter it was than the other, you couldn't even notice when I unplugged the first light. I will definitely be getting more in the future.

Put 4 of these 150w units up in a 20x40 garage with 11-14 foot ceilings. Super bright. Almost wish there was some kind of diffuser to put on them to keep them from blinding you if you look up at them, even if it costs a little bit of brightness. Aside from that, good so far. I noticed that one of the 4 seems to "buzz", even when the light is off. It's not super loud but you can definitely notice it. Tried swapping plugs around to see if it was an outlet issue but the issue followed the 1 light. Would HIGHLY recommend them.
