I like these. I’ve touched up a few furniture pieces. The coordinating color crayons help dull some of the marker color if needed to help blend. I’ve also mixed a few a little and that seemed to work ok. But the crayon on top of the stain marker, then wiping it into the surface to distribute it, seems to do the trick. I did this especially with the black on my black TV trays. I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up as time passes, but they look much nicer for the time being. As for my dresser furniture this product has been perfect filling in scratches and scuffs and other imperfections caused by wear and tear. I recommend testing a small spot first (maybe somewhere less noticeable) to make sure you picked the right or most matching color in this set, for the piece of furniture.

I recently bought an ottoman from Amazon which included some wooden tabletop trays that had some slight nicks in the faux leather and the wood. Otherwise they were perfect. With the leather I colored in the scratched area with the walnut marker then wiped it with my thumb, the scratch all but disappeared. The nicks in the wood vanished with the oak marker almost like an eraser. Of course if the damage is bad enough no amount of markers or crayons can repair damaged furniture, but if you have slight scratches that are in one of these primary furniture colors, unless you really try and look for them, the scratches are completely unnoticeable.

I love this product. We actually used on two pieces of furniture with excellent results. I have an inexpensive bedside stand that got chipped. I used the darkest crayon to color over the exposed light wood. No, it didn't fill in the chips, but it did hide the light wood. Unless one gets down close, the chips are no longer visible. The other fix was on an old piano bench that was worn and showing it all around the edges. This fix (used the marker for this) was even more effective as one would never know it isn't the original finish. There is a good variety of colors in this pack. The only drawback is having to buy all if one needs only one or two colors or wood shades. Still very much worth the money.

I like that this set comes with a variety of colors. I find that mixing the colors on the spot helps you get a better match to your color of wood. However, you do have to have a little artistic ability when applying the marker version. If you just apply the marker, it will look like you used a marker on your furniture. It won't blend well on the wood. I find the marker version very successful for around the edges of the table. I find be crayon versions to be more successful for the top of the table. If you Polish the table after you apply, it looks really great.

Amazing stuff!!! I have a really nice shelving unit with drawers and when we brought it home, we did not use a dolly since my husband thought he could get it inside just fine by ourselves. That didn't work out so well and we ended up smashing two corners. It's looked ragged on those ends for a couple years now. So I originally purchased this for the markers to see if they would match the dye in my husbands work pants that got bleach on them. I didn't' work, but I used the wax crayons on the two ends and then went over them with the walnut marker. It looks like nothing has damaged it!!! These are amazing and I can't wait to use them on our other pieces that were damaged from our last move. They are going to come in handy in the event that this next move does any more damage.

This is a very good collection of pens and crayons for furniture repair. The minor scratches or mars in furniture can be fixed with these markers and pens. The crayons should be used as a filler and then use the pen that matches the filler after the feller has dried. Test a small area first, and if it does not match quickly remove it with a cleaner or paint thinner. I've used wax shoe polish from time to time but usually go back to this set of pens. However, don't expect a miracle from these pens and crayons if the furniture has deep gouges or cuts and don't try to repair a piece of furniture that is an antique or the finish is highly polished with polyurethane or varnish. These are great items for fixing small nicks and scratches on wood and leather.

I am IN LOVE with these!! I had a cleaning lady come over and she moved the furniture and scratches up nearly my whole living room floors! The floors are only about a year old as well. I was very sad! However, I feel much better after using these! I have laminate wood floors. I used a combination of the markers and wax, depending on depth of the scratch. I also tested the colors as I went (they are not the same colors as cap). I do recommend rubbing the markers right away (fingers work best) to blend in before setting. This will also remove it from the floor, but not the scratch. As for the wax, I scrapped of the wax on the non-scratched part, but it stayed on the scratch, which is what I needed. I am so happy with these and so glad I chose them!

Great product. It worked for me. Comes with 12 pieces: 6 felt tip markers and 6 crayons in various shades of brown to match your furniture. I have a desk that had many scratches and big tear marks caused by ripping off scotch tape. I found the perfect felt tip marker and crayon to match my desk. It covered the scratches, It did a great job on the scratches and the big tear marks. Was very easy to apply. The desk looks very nice. I highly recommend this product. (To make sure you pick the correct color, read the instructions inside the package.)

I have a table that came from my husband's grandmother's house. It's a size that works perfectly in so many situations, and we've had it for years. Our last use had some computer equipment on it that left deep gouges on the surface. I wanted to move it to behind the sofa, but every time I looked at it all I could see were the gouges. I had been debating refinishing or painting it, but it is the original finish, and I love it. I was able to use a combination of the crayons and markers to fill in and disguise all of the gouges. You definitely don't see them from across the room. If you are looking directly at where the gouges were, you can see them, but I think you have to know where to look. Very satisfied with this product - it has given this piece of furniture a new life.

I have used two colors since opening the packet and loved the results for both. First I used the golden color on the floors where I scratched the finishing with a chair and then I used one of the middle browns on the edge of a dresser that had been scuffed. The markers don’t make the scratches completely disappear - you can still make out the difference in texture and when the light hits it, the color. But the before/ after is striking! A lot of our furniture is secondhand and has its fair share of dings, I can’t wait to touch up all of it.
