This is a fun logic game! We were able to play it within minutes of opening the box (it's VERY easy to learn). Our 9-year old loves it! After helping her with the first 2 logic cards, she was able to figure out which cat committed the "crimes" by herself. I love that it makes her really read and comprehend all the words (she got the wrong answer on one, because she skipped over reading the work "not"; eg: Duchess was "not" sitting by the birdcage). It helps her think logically and read all the words accurately - and she has fun doing it!! I highly recommend this product. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

I chose this for my 8-year-old nephew for Christmas, and he loves it! He's an exceptionally bright child who likes to be challenged, and this game meets that requirement. The fact that it involves cats is a bonus since he's Team Feline. I love that the game allows him to use deductive reasoning without the mystery being something scary or too grown-up. No one dies in the conservatory with a lead pipe. Haha...

this game is so Fun for the whole family. It can be difficult in the higher levels. But we had a blast with it. We played with kids 10 years old and adults all in the same game.

This game is so cute! Yes, it's just logic puzzles all over again, but dressing them up as a game about naughty cats is incredibly clever. You'll be able to get kids who would not normally play logic games to play this game just because of the cute cats. The cards come in many levels so it can be used with a wide range of ages (even adults!).

When I bought this game, I didn't realize it was for a SINGLE player. That's okay. It's super cute and so much fun! My 8yo and I play it together.

This is a really fun game - well made - take turns solving or play as one person. Keeps kids busy solving the "crimes."

I am a huge fan of ThinkFun. I homeschool and like to use these games for critical thinking, logic solving, for my kids. I enjoy them for myself for fun as well. We had Cat Crimes and were worried it would be the same challenges/clues but just with dogs. It wasn’t. Such a great idea of a puzzle. I love that they get very difficult. And it can be replayed because I know I don’t remember the answers after awhile so I can redo the challenges without just remembering the answer from before. Great game as usual by ThinkFun. Looking forward to seeing what they put out next.

I played this with my two kids (5 and 9). The 5 year old enjoyed placing the kitties where we thought they should go and checking our answers when we were done. My 9 year old and I worked on the logic puzzles together. The easy cards were rather easy, but they were a nice intro to logic and my 5 year old could chime in with some suggestions. My husband tried an expert card and gave up after several fails. He might have done better it he read the bios of each of the cats in the instruction manual to find out which cats really have blue eyes..... My family loves animals, especially cats. The cat theme caught their interest and the joy of solving the mystery/ logic puzzle kept the interested. Older kids may try an easy card as a warm up, but quickly move to the more advanced cards. It would be nice if there were additional cards to purchase since the game is not very interesting after you have solved all of the puzzles. After you have solved all the puzzles, I suggest donating it your favorite elementary school teacher as an indoor recess option..... The pieces are made of sturdy cardboard and it takes up little space to play. If you like logic puzzles and want to teach your kids about them. I would highly suggest this game.

This is the fourth game we have bought- we have gifted 3. This game is a clever way to get children thinking in a logical, precise way. My husband and I enjoy playing it too- some of the levels are really challenging. It's tailored to fit a very large age range. Cute concept with the mischievous cats, the board and pieces are of good quality. The ONLY thing I feel could be improved on is the keywords for clues: They use 'Near' and 'Next to', which we all find confusing- even when referencing back to the instruction booklet. Overall, an adorable game with an excellent design to get kids (and adults) brains cranking.

Purchased this game for my oldest daughter for Christmas, but ended up showing her the game and asking her to donate it for a family evacuated from the Camp Fire in Paradise. The package angel said it was nice for that purpose, it is packaged in a small box that could fit in a small dresser or bin. I am going to buy this again next week my daughter really wants to play this with her sister - they're both teenagers that love clue and cats so win-win in that department.
