Perfect combination for remote use with tripod.
I was disappointed that the unit did not ship with the remote, I only saw the small box without any remote. I however took everything out of the box and found the missing remote tucked inside the packaging. It paired up quickly on the iPhone XS and will snap the picture if the camera is active. I will give it a test run during a class and give more on how far it works. The tripod adaptor is just ideal and fit the phone as stated by the Seller. Item is plastic but with light use expect it to work fine for most casual use. It is a 'smart' buy from Amazon. Update1-Feb-2019 Used this over a 3-day period and it was great and the remote worked perfectly. The tripod is made of plastic and easily worked to hold my iPhone XS and my friends XS Plus size phone. The holder is rigid and will keep the phone secure but make sure your tripod head can make the minor adjustments to handle alignment (mine has a small ball head). For the remote, it paired up automatically with the Bluetooth setting on the phone. The slide on the side turns it on and off so remember to turn it off to prevent accidental shots. I was able to use in a large room about 20-ft away from the tripod. Works the phone for photo or video, it is just like touching the phone. I plan on putting a paint dot on the 'on' side as it is hard to read which is the on/off position. This model from Jansite Direct is a great buy and I recommend it to anyone wanting remote and a solid phone mount.

Great Price for a Simple, "Perfect" Product
It's a $9 phone mount for tripods. It has two knobs to adjust clamp size and orientation (vertical, horizontal). And yet there are 3-star reviews that talk about taking time to figure it out, and "you get what you pay for." If the next cheapest alternative is rubber banks and popsicle sticks, I'd say these are AMAZING!!!

Great Deal, Works Great, but Not Made of Metal.
Works well, as decribed, good price. bluetooth remote works well, no issues there. its not super durable and not built super strong, so you will need to be gentle with it, but for the price, it works great and should last a while with appropriate use and if taken care of. I have not broken mine. It feels fine, but doesnt feel like it could take a beating. Very much would buy again. Dont really know why it needs 2 seperate buttons. I have an iphone and the android button doesnt do anything while connected. You do have to have the camera app running in order for the button to take a picture. It doesnt open the app when you press the button, nor does pressing the button open the camera app, while connected via bluetooth. Just thought i would share that.

Fits iPhone Xs (with case) easily!
The screw mount fit my 10-some-odd year old tripod shoe perfectly with plenty of room. Fairly well built device and I think very adequate for light to medium usage for phone photography work. For the PRICE it’s excellent! But if you really need high stability with zero movement under high wind conditions, say, and/or rugged mountain use out of a phone tripod mount you ..might.. want to go more expensive & sturdier built — or buy a few of these! But for indoor or light outside use, this thing is fine. My photo shows the outer rubber shell of my iPhone Xs Otterbox Defender case in the clamp area — naturally, I had to take my phone out to snap this pic. In my photo the upper clamp was unscrewed until I could take it out, then I screwed it back in with about 4 good turns - probably the minimum for making sure a larger phone was clamped securely. As you can see vs. my Xs case, *plenty* of clamp space for regular-sized phones with cases.

Good price, greater quality!
I bought this for my wife for her online teaching/tutoring, and videos and she loves it. Though it's a small cheaper made plastic item, it doesn't have the spring loaded clamp like most other brands, and even has little rubber pads for better grip. It does have the standard screw most (if not all) tripods have and it holds the phone quite steady. Plus the Bluetooth camera on/off button (for both Apple & Android) take the headache out of editing out the walking to and fro from the camera to turn it on or off. I haven't tested its full range out, but it works at 7ft, and that's more than enough for her.

Exactly as described.
Bought this phone mount so I can set up the Mobil phone on short tripod and be included in the shots. The mount is exactly as described. Seems well made. It fits my iPhone 7 with slim protective case on. Remote shutter release is easy to use, although at first i missed the tiny on/off switch on the side. It helped to follow suggestions of previous reviews of this Item since there were no instructions sheet to follow. It took only a few minutes to make the Bluetooth connection. I’m looking forward to trying this out on my next hike in the woods.

Excellent
Fast shipping from Jansite on phone tripod mount with bluetooth remote. Product exactly as described. Very reasonable price. Plastic components with metal where needed (screws and nuts). I think this will last me forever. Others may need all metal construction. I don't. Brand new condition, no scratches, scuffs or chips. Turned on the remote and it paired instantly with my iPhone XS. Sometimes I have to click the shutter button twice. I'm not sure why. If I use the shutter regularly, it works every time. If I let the remote sit for awhile and then click the shutter, the remote light blinks rapidly for a moment. The next click works. Maybe the remote goes to sleep. The android button also works on my iPhone. Having a lot of fun with this. No, I didn't get it free and I'm not a paid reviewer. I'm just pleased. I recommend this to anybody who wants to play around with a smart phone tripod mount.

Works Perfectly
Received the iPhone tripod mount today and for the money it works really well. It is made of a sturdy plastic that holds my iPhone X securely. Also, a definite plus, it rotates to any angle I choose. Initially, I could not get the Bluetooth remote to pair. Wrote to the seller, who answered in a relatively short amount of time, and I apparently missed the on/off switch on the side. DUH! Once turned it on, it paired within seconds. Would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for an economical solution for taking pictures using this adapter on a monopod/tripod. Next purchase will probably be a pair of glasses so I can see those little on/off buttons.

Great lightweight tripod mount with even more value than advertised
Both parts, tripod mount and remote, work perfectly. The mount holds my iPhone 7+ in its OtterBox Defender case very securely. Rotation is easy to adjust. PLUS there is a second, unadvertised, 1/4” mount - look at the product pictures - that I use on a ball head. It eliminates the rotation in the mount (but that’s what the ball head is for) and is more compact. Remote paired easily, worked immediately, uses common battery size. The mount is well designed and well constructed with a metal adjustment screw and threaded mount hardware, lightweight plastic elsewhere.

Works well for the price
I always get roped into taking the Christmas card photo every year for my family. My iPhone has far surpassed the quality of my old point-and-shoot camera, so I just needed a way to mount it on a tripod. The mount is dead simple to use - no instructions needed. The Bluetooth remote was a nice bonus which meant I didn't have to use the timer to run and get into the picture. I did find the range on the remote isn't great, likely due to the small battery and therefore limited power. If I tried to hide it behind my back, the signal was too weak to trigger my phone at a distance of less than 10 feet. As long as you can hide the remote by your side or give it line-of-sight, it works fine.
