AMAZING!!
This is a-mazing. No more days of ointments & multiple washings, flaking or inking up clothes & sheets. IF your tattoo artist uses saniderm & sends you home in it...after 24 hours you’ll remove the saniderm & put on a fresh piece. My big advice is to make absolutely SURE you have removed ALL of the sticky residue from your skin before applying a new piece on top. It WILL rip off your skin if you apply a fresh piece of saniderm over skin that already has sticky residue on it (mostly around the edges). Otherwise, this stuff is a dream. Just follow the instructions, stick it on and let the tattoo heal. It also acts as a protective shield that helps with accidental bumps & clothes rubbing.

I don't have the best immune system thanks to an autoimmune disorder
I don't have the best immune system thanks to an autoimmune disorder, and while I enjoy having tattoos healing them has never been fun for me. It usually takes a good 3-4 weeks for one of my tattoos to start significantly healing, which leaves my skin open and vulnerable to infection. I used this saniderm bandaging for 24 hours after my last tattoo (some color added to a large piece on my thigh) and I was seriously AMAZED at how well it worked. I kept the bandage on for 24 hours then took it off in the shower, and I was stunned to see a tattoo that looked to be at least a month old! It's been a few days since I took the saniderm off, and the tattoo has not wept at all since the bandage was taken off, although it is getting a bit dry. While in the saniderm bandage the tattoo wept and filled the bandage with plasma and blood, and it seems to have miraculously increased the rate at which my tattoos can heal. I'm so excited to have found something that my body seems to react quite well to, and it's no fun to get a tattoo and then have, essentially, an open wound for the next month. The ability that this bandage has to speed up the tattoo/wound healing process is unparalleled in my opinion. I only wish I'd had some last year when I scraped up both my knees super bad, then maybe I wouldn't have had a month and a half long healing process with that as well. I'm very impressed with this bandaging method and I'm definitely going to be using it from now on, on tattoos and any wounds I happen to collect.

Loved it.. but peeling part wasn't enjoyable
What not to love... Well except the peeling part ..can't get away with that pain...all my tattoo looks fresh.. I bring it will me for my artist to wrapped it up.. I took the first one off after 24 hours and cleaned and wrapped a new one and leave it on for 4 days and took it off and it created less scans and less peeling ...plus I can sleep and leave on while shower (of course less wet on that part)

Easy and convenient tattoo care in a fast-paced world, highly recommend!
This is an excellent product and is certainly a game changer in the tattoo healing process! Instead of having to clean and apply lotion a few times a day, being super careful and paranoid of keeping my tattoo away from any dirt or whatever else, the Saniderm gave me a piece of mind. I used it for a total of 10 days (3 applications) and I was carefree for the time I had it on. I'm always on the go, and this was just so convenient compared to other healing methods. After the ten days, my tattoo did incredibly well, looked great! All of the ink stayed well, and I almost need zero touching up. I did have one or two days where my tattoo was itchy; I normally would apply Hustle Butter to relieve it, but just had to deal with it - more than worth it though. I still wouldn't test it to its limits and spend your time in the pool all day long (why put a new tattoo in any situation that risks significant damage?), but I was able to go to work without the tattoo rubbing against my pants (tattoo on calf) or anything else, as well as play sports. Was easy enough to apply and their website has an awesome FAQ section. Was also easy to remove, doing so in the shower. After the 10 days, I followed with Hustle Butter and Hemp and Hive CO oil spray as I would normally do. I will be using Saniderm on ALL my future tattoos!! *The tattoo in the photo isn't completely healed so still a little shiny looking, I'll try to remember to update further down the road.

Game changer
If you’re like me and love tattoos but they always end up scabbing real bad and itching like crazy, this is your sure fire solution. My full color chest piece healed completely after just a week and a half of using Saniderm. Absolutely no scabbing, very minimal itching, full bad-assery. Extremely impressed. You will be too.

Wonderful for healing tattoos.
This is the real deal. I had purchased a substitute from a local pharmacy and when le it worked ok the bandages were too small for my tattoo and I had to overlap several of them. This roll contains a lot more Han I had expected which was fantastic, as I get new tattoos regularly. As a simple instruction for tattoo healing - Day 1 - after a few hours in the original bandage, clean your new tattoo with hot water and simple fragrance and purfume free soap. This will probably hurt/sting, but hell what did you expect? Let the tattoo air dry for about 2-3 minutes. Cover the tattoo with Saniderm, overlapping the edges of the tattoo about an inch or so. Make sure to press down and smooth over the tattoo. Then simply leave it alone for as long as you can. 3-5 days should be good. You can shower with the bandage on. Even swim (so I have heard). The wound will get a little gross looking as it heals, but at day 4-5 you can probably remove the bandage. Do that in the shower or bath to help. It doesn’t really stick to the fresh tattoo at all, way way less than any band-aid that you have used. Clean up the tattoo with hot simple soap and water and moisturize daily. You should have the best healed tattoo of your life! Enjoy

PERFECT for tattoo recovery
I got tired of my tattoo artist using Saran wrap and tape to cover my tattoos. It doesn't stay put, it doesn't breathe so there's a lot of sweat underneath....just an all-around PITA. Then I discovered Saniderm and it is my new best friend. There will obviously be folds and creases when applied to a non-flat area (like my calf, currently), so there will be some seepage of fluid (like into my sock, currently) when applied to a non-flat area. But it is a HUGE improvement over Saran wrap. It adheres very well, it breathes and doesn't cause me to sweat, and it's waterproof (you can shower with it on). It's not fun to remove from a fresh tattoo (do it gently, pull with the direction of hair growth, hold the skin taut while pulling the film), but the pros outweigh the cons. I will always use Saniderm for tattoo recovery from now on.

Best for tattoo healing; and it's like a Swiss Army knife with more uses…
Absolutely the best stuff in the world to heal a tattoo. I will never get another tattoo again without having Saniderm covering it during the healing process. The process is extremely easy: you wear the initial covering for up to 24 hours, depending on the amount of weeping, then remove and wash the area, let it completely dry, and apply a second covering. This covering can be left on for 5-6 days before removing. If another dressing is required then you can apply one more for up to another 5-6 days. Depending on the placement of the tattoo you can apply Saniderm yourself, but to make sure your body is in a neutral state you may need help applying Saniderm to the tattoo. After the initial dressing the tattoo is at the sunburn stage and you can avoid the scabbing stage. From there you can continue your healing regiment; mine is to continue applying lotion to the tattoo for up to another month and a half or more as it still continues to heal. Not only does it help speed recovery but it allows a much easier healing experience. With Saniderm applied you can take showers without risk of getting your new tattoo too wet, you have the ability to wear any clothing you would like, you don't have to worry about keeping it "clean" and moisturized all the time, it provides a clean breathable layer, and sleeping is easier (no weeping on sheets or having to sleep a certain way). Every tattoo I have gotten, until Saniderm, has had problem areas of healing, some worse than others; to the point it affected the finished tattoo look. I currently have 18 tattoos. After discovering Saniderm and using it on 11 of my most current tattoos the healing has been next to perfect, and again, I will not get another tattoo without using Saniderm. I haven't had any further healing issues or problem areas when using Saniderm. Also, you won't be able to avoid the itching stage if you're like me. About day four with the covering of Saniderm I get the healing itch, especially when you see the hair growing under the Saniderm. Hopefully you can avoid this stage as it's the most annoying but beware, you might still have to endure this stage. Get some for better tattoo healing! And it's versatile, I have used Saniderm on burns and cuts and other small injuries with favorable results. If I heard right this is the same stuff they use on burn victims. Every injury I have used Saniderm on, Saniderm speeds up the healing process and makes taking care of the wound sight effortless.

A complete tattoo game changer.
This product is a complete tattoo game changer. I got my 4th tattoo last week and this is the first time I have used saniderm, I will never look back! My tattoo artist put a piece on before I left the shop, and I kept it on for 24 hours. During that time it was weepy, my artist called it tattoo soup! After the 24 hours I showered, removed the saniderm and washed it with antibacterial soap. Then with the help of my wonderful patient boyfriend, I put the second piece on. I left that on for 5 days. When I removed it, I did it in the shower under running hot water - this is key!!! It came off so easily. It's almost basically healed. Just peeling now and it's only been 6 days! I've had some bad experiences with tattoos healing... This was super easy.
