With this product unicorns and rainbows flew out of my laptop the moment I set it into this dock. This legendary block of holding will forever ensure that your laptop will no longer be laying down on the job. As a benefit it works with Windows laptops!!! This means you can trash your fake glasses, low sagging beanie, that God awful V-Neck, and go take a shower you filthy ANIMAL! All in all the quality of this product is as if it was forged by the dwarfs deep within the mystic mountains and breath to life with the magic from the forest elves. If you are looking for something like this I would highly recommend.

I wanted to reduce footprint on my desk for my laptop. I had a makeshift thing under my desk but found it reduced my leg space by a ton. There aren't a ton of nice stands that can be used for any brand. I decided on this one as it looked small and sleek and I could use it for different laptops I have: work and personal. It comes in a plain cardboard box but not having a fancy box isn't going to hurt the product for me. Inside is the stand and hex key to adjust the width of the stand. The stand has some heft to it as it should in order to hold a laptop up. It was machined with nice clean rounded edges and is quite small for the footprint. There are 4 hex screws underneath that allows you to adjust the width of the sidewalls for any laptop. The base also has a rubber bottom to grip any surface and keep things from sliding once there is weight on it. The sidewalls and bottom center have rubber pads. The rubber pad in the middle is only so wide, if your laptop is wide enough or if you don't center the laptop on the stand, it won't be fully on the rubber pad. I tried the stand on both my laptops, and adjusting the stand was easy. I would just clamp it facing down on the laptop end that I choose. tighten the screws a bit and onto my desk it went. Very easy and held them with no issue. You can use the hinge or mouth side of the laptop on the stand and since both sides of the sidewalls are the same on the stand. You can reverse it without issue. This adds to flexibility if you plan to use the USB ports or other ports on your laptop. Removing the laptop from the stand is not an issue. The rubber grips hold tight but you can slide it off with a little pressure or loosen the HEX screws a bit, your choice. A built in HEX screw holder would have been nice so you don't lose it. Needless to say, it has really cleaned up my desk by having my laptop stand and also increases airflow for it so it doesn't get hot, which is always a problem with laptops sitting on any surface. Get one of these and a USB 3.0 docking station for multi-monitor use and you can't go wrong.

I use this to dock my work laptop when I want it to function as a desktop. This came with an Alan wrench so that I needed nothing of my own to set it up! It was easily adjusted to the exact opening width needed to fit my laptop securely. It's heavy and has a gel pad at the bottom to keep it from sliding. It doesn't tilt at all when I take my laptop in and out (usually several times daily). It's solid quality for a much more reasonable price point compared to the competition. I concur with another reviewer's comment that the gel lining on the inside doesn't cover the edges of the stand, so you want to be a bit cautious to keep from scratching your laptop if it has no case. I don't like logos (though this one is not particularly noticeable or obtrusive), so I just have the logo side face my back wall. I bought another product for my home laptop that had removal gel inserts of different thickness, but I found this adjustable feature to be superior, especially if you use a laptop case.

I use my computer at the dining table. I used it multiple time per day and I eat multiple time per day. The computer is constantly on the move on the floor, on the table and around again. I've had it slip from my hand 3 time this year. It got one small ding already. I kind of stumbled across this item while searching for something else. It works great, I don't lean it against the wall and hope it doesn't slid, I keep it right next to my chair, no problems with it sliding from my grasp it only travels inches now. $20 is a small price to avoid damage to my computer.

I have been wanting a "Dock" for my Mac Book Air for the longest time. But I did not want to spend a fortune for one. I ran across this and I am extremely pleased with its build quality. It is very heavy. So you can put your computer in it without having to worry about it falling over. Its Like a anchor, it keeps it in place. What I forgot to show in the pictures are the rubber pads. There are three of them; one on the bottom to prevent it from sliding, one on one side of the clamp and one on the other. So you don't have to worry about the metal clamping straight to the surface of your computer. Which is a plus because I do not like scratches. Seriously, a great product for $20. I am extremely pleased. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

It's simple, I know, but I love it! This stand is made with such high quality you can feel it. Everything about it is precision made (even the secure screws that hold the arms in place). I really appreciate when a manufacturer creates something that just perfect in every way. While the design is very minimalist, it has plenty of heft to keep from tipping over. This is exactly what I was looking for. Something to hold my laptop vertically on my desk so it didn't take up much space (and allowed me to keep my laptop off the floor). I'm happy! Trust me, you should buy this one.

If you use a thunderbolt , surface, or lenovo side plug docking station and you dont want to use the laptop as a monitor this is a must have. Its solid and has some heft to it so it wont move around on you or pull up when you grab your laptop. Very please with this purchase. I do IT support a for a living and trust me when i say this is a solid solution.

This fits my Lenovo E555 15.6" laptop perfectly, saves me a ton of space on my smaller desk, allows the laptop to run much cooler, I really love this product for what it is and what it does. A few small complaints as nothing is really perfect and this is no exception the screen of the laptop is ever so slightly opened maybe a Velcro strap would pinch it closed, but to be honest this is not the fault of the product itself, the price difference for colors I find somewhat annoying, I personally went with the least expensive color option but still what really is the difference in a color, why is Black always the most expensive, I get that it's probably the most popular color but come on, really,?, it's the same device regardless of what color it is. I do highly recommend this to anyone that wants to use their laptop as their desktop and save themselves some room on their desk, it's good and heavy, won't tip over even if bumped into, anti skid pad is perfect, I can't really be anymore positive about this product, will be purchasing another soon for a second laptop when I replace one of my desktops.

I have a large Wacom Intous Pro tablet that takes up a lot of space laying flat. I wanted to get a vertical laptop stand that would accommodate it, however the tablet is 0.3" thick so the stand needed to accommodate it's thinness. I decided to try this one because it is adjustable and seemed to have a slightly larger lip than some of the other brands I was looking at. When I ordered this stand I knew that it was only adjustable down to go 0.55 - to accommodate my wacom I got rubber tape that was 1/4" thick and stuck it to one side of the adjustable brackets. My Wacom fits perfectly - not too tight, not too loose! I will probably order a second one for my laptop.
