These are wonderful. I got these for weeding vinyl and doing hand sewing. It is so great to have the different powers of lens that you can exchange. I did not think I would use the light, but it has come in so handy. The batteries make the unit a little bit more heavy on the head, but not a big deal for the convenience of being able to really see all the details up close! I would recommend these to anyone that does close up detail work.

This is really excellent after you make a minor change. I noticed that the nose piece support was attached with two small screws. I easily removed the nose piece. After removing the nose peice I attached the elastic strap. The under the nose piece were two small bumps to align the nose peice which hurt if you put the head piece on. I attached a small piece of adhesive weatherstipping over those bumps. Now I can wear this with my glasses!!!! The elastic strap and the light weight of the magnifier work just fine without the nose support. Well built, lost of adjustments! Getting the batteries to make contact had a little trouble.

When I first got them, my wife teased me about my appearance when wearing them. Then she started "borrowing" them for any sort of detail work she might encounter. Hehehe. We've both used them a whole lot more than I ever thought we would when I ordered them. These are quite comfortable for short-term wear. The combination of magnification and LED lighting is a godsend for doing fine, tiny work like soldering small gauge wiring or threading a needle. If my current pair were to mysteriously disappear, I'd immediate order the exact same ones again.

Other day I wrote a review saying they just weren't working well for me. Here is what I learned why... If you already wear glasses keep them on. Then use these as extended bi-focal glasses...get it? The way they are designed is the lens sit farther out like 4 inches away from your face (nose). The piece that rests on your nose gives you room for your regular glasses. So now I don't feel so sick wearing them...because my view is still great with my glasses for close up reading. And the magnify lens that sits way farther out is not blocking my regular view...only when I want to get a closer detail view...SO NOW THEY WORK GREAT! for me. I don't put the 3 batteries in the compartment that is designed to be above nose. cause that adds more weight. Instead I have a bright working lamp that I love. But I guess if I was going to use batteries I would want the head band attached to not have the weight on my nose. So ***** 5 Stars now...! It does take a few days of use to figure out which lens to use...too. But pleased with my purchase now. Thank you!

An amazingly well-designed tool for the price. A bit fragile but should last years if treated with care. The LED light provides good illumination right where you need it. Even with the batteries installed, the extra weight on the nose pieces isn't that bad. The provided storage box for the 5 different lenses is a nice extra as are the detachable earpieces to allow attachment of the provided head strap. The only possible negative is the fact the one-piece lenses can't be adjusted to accommodate differences in people's.interpupillary distance. However, the lens holder can be moved in or out to somewhat compensate for that. I prefer this magnifier over my stereo microscope for inspecting and soldering printed circuit cards.

Very happy with them I feel they are of good quality and the lenses are better then I expected. They are high-quality acrylic (I don't think they are glass) and are very clear and along with the light make it very easy to see what I am doing. I also like that they have several different magnifications and are very easy to swap out. I wear glasses and I found if I put the nose rest behind my glasses and have them rest on my glasses works the best but they do get heavy.

These glasses are awsome, light weight, fit comfortably, large field of magnified vision, nice bright adjustable light and has a nice low profile box for the different magnification lenses. Eye glasses friendly to boot. Could not ask for more.

I was really impressed by the build quality of this headset. I got it to work on computers and circuit boards, and it does the job. The changeable eyepieces seem to be really well built. The headband can adjusted a variety of ways, from distance of glass to eyes, angle of the glasses, etc. I was able to see the tiny print on a circuit board using the 2.5x power. I have not used the headband, but like the idea for longer projects. The LED is super bright, and can be adjusted slightly to hit directly where I want to look. The description does say 3 AAA and not included, not sure why some of the reviews complain it didn't come with batteries. Possibly the description was updated? The directions that came with the band indicate they upgraded the product from 2 button style batteries to 3 AAA, which I like. I almost always have those in the battery cabinet. I'm glad I read the reviews and saw how heavy people described this, they weren't kidding. It's definitely NOT just a cheap piece of plastic with cheap plastic lenses. If you are going to wear it bent over for a long period, use the head band. I you need to look down for small work for a short time, as a pair of glasses.

I wish I would have had these 30 years ago. At least I have them now. Fantastic for close-up work as my eyes don't have the ability to see very small items as I get older. They fit and do everything well because of their adjustability. The built in LED lighting source and the variable magnification make these suitable for any type of work that requires hands free high magnification operation. I wish I could give these 6 stars! P.S. I'm so impressed that I just bought another one as a Christmas gift.
