If you are a bag and gadget person - look no further
I am definitely a Peak Design fan boy; I have several of their camera straps, lens pouches and also the 10l Sling. I find the sling design super practical and comfortable - the weight is generally supported between your shoulder blades (like a backpack) however, the whole thing swings round to the front for easy access. I use the 10l to carry my mirrorles camera, lenses plus all the other gadgets of daily life.....but sometimes that's simply too much to schlep....and that's why the 5l is fantastic. I hate carrying things in my pockets - on the other hand, I always want the essentials "on hand" -wallet, coin pouch, pen, keys, sunglasses, spare phone battery and - of course, one camera with one lens. Since buying the 5l Sling I find that I am using it more than the 10l - it's more practical not to carry so much, all day. The black is very discreet and low key. Like all Peak Design products - it is superbly designed and manufactured - with great Customer Service to back it all up. (I once had a small issue and the whole thing was replaced by Peak Design immediately) If you are a bag and gadget person - look no further. Highly recommended www.DavidShire.photography

The perfect small kit grab and go bag, just keep in mind the size of it before ordering.
I got this bag for day hikes using my cannon T7i. I do primarily macro photos of moss, lichens, wildflowers and mushrooms and use a cannon 100mm macro lens and a mini tripod. This bag let's me carry my camera body with the 100mm lens attached, my mini tripod, and a lens cloth. That maxes out the bag though so if you are carrying more gear, this might not be the bag for you. The build quality is fantastic and it's pretty weather resistant, the zippers are strong and seal up well and the material wicks away water pretty well.

Very well thought out, and holds more than you might expect
I bought this bag for my 3-prime kit: a Sony A7RII camera with the Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8, Sony 35mm f/2.8, and Sony 85mm f/1.8 lenses. The kit fits easily into the bag, and the lenses can be swapped while the whole set still fits nicely, with Peak Design's folding FlexFold dividers protecting everything. What pleasantly surprised me was that the bag will also hold my camera and my 2-zoom lens kit, with the Sony 16-35mm f/4 and 24-105mm f/4 zoom lenses. It's small, light, waterproof, and has numerous well thought-out features. The strap could be a little wider, but you're not going to be able to weigh it down too much because of its small size, so it's not much of a negative. Highly recommended!

Nice and well designed little bag! Perfect for daily or street photographer.
I love this bag, the design is great size for carry around and I have my new XT30 with XC15-45mm f3.5-5.6 + XF35mm f2 in it and yet still have space for my ipad mini or my switch and both charger in it too. And the design just look not like camera bag at all. I am designer myself. This bag even just the design itself I will already go for it. But it is a well made camera bag and even is weather prove. Yes, the price is not low, but I do think the build quality and the design it more than worth it, and yet is comfort! This bag is perfect for daily or street photographer (mean is not going to carry a lot for you). But if you need to bring more gear with you, than you may look into 10L bag that have even stronger material than 5L and can carry way a lot for you. But really, still down to what you need, check out some review video on youtube and see what fit you better. For me this is perfect.

10/10 Best Everyday Sling I Have Ever Gotten
Before this, I had the Peak Design 10L Everyday Sling and I loved it for carrying my cameras around when I’m traveling light. But when I wanted to travel REALLY light, the 10L was way too big. So then I purchased this Peak Design 5L Everyday Sling. Best EVERYDAY SLING hands down. This bag deserves that name: Everyday Sling. I carry various items from pens, phones, to Mirrorless and Small DSLR’s in the 5L bag. I use my 10L for light shoots and this 5L for EVERYDAY use. Literally, I can’t emphasize this enough on how amazed I am with this bag. Not only can it carry my phones, cameras, wallets, etc., but it can also protect them because this bag is waterproof (as i have been told). I have yet to test it in heavy rain but so far my expectations of this bag have been met and surpassed. I used to carry a sling bag that can only carry items OTHER THAN CAMERAS. Now i can go out to the mall, to the restaurant with my camera and still be stylish. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. I use my 10L for light photoshoots and use my 5L for everyday on-the-go items and still remain stylish with my friends.

Well designed, well made bag
This bag satisfies the extremely high expectations of my picky husband. The bag is obviously made with quality over price in mind with good seems and nice finishes. The inside of the bag organizes well and fluidly depending on what lenses he is carrying. Special spot for batteries and USB cards. Comfortable strap. Spend a little more and get this bag for something that you'll enjoy using.

Excellent bag for mirrorless kit
This bag fits my gear perfectly. I have a 2016 iPad pro (the smaller one), and an Olympus m10 ii with a few lenses, and it all fits perfectly. I was thrilled to be able to find such a nice compact bag after investing in this smaller camera. I switched to mirror less as I wanted to cut down on bulk and make it more comfortable to take stuff with me where ever. This fit the bill perfectly.

Peak Design Everyday Sling 5L
This is a great quality bag. More storage than you can imagine. By far one of my favorite bags as of yet. Build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy. (Keep in mind I have had this less then a month as of this review). I purchased this to hold my DJI Osmo Pocket and accessories and my Freefly Movi Cinema Bot while out doing low key style shooting of video. It hold everything nicely. I could swap out equipment and use this for traveling light with my DSLR, a few lenses, batteries and some accessories. If you are looking for a good quality slingbag I would highly recommend.

Great sling bag for small apsc Mirrorless cameras.
Was hoping it would fit my a7iii and my tamron 28/75 lens. While this does fit, i loose both side storage dividers. Works fine for walking around with one attached lens only. For my a6000 it works much better and have dedicated this bag for that kit. Good quality, lightweight, and looks good. Fanny pack mode works as lon as it is toward your side or back. Guys should not wear it in front as it can sag down and hit sensitive areas. Picked up a 20l backpack for my a7iii and might consider the 10l sling for lighter travel for the larger lenses.

Perfect for the canon sl2
I love this sling bag , I’m very minimal when it comes to my camera gear I have my sigma 10-20mm lens my canon sl2 my canon 24mm and my yognu 50mm plus my two batteries and my sd card case and I was carrying a big backpack for all this and it fits perfectly into my peak design sling bag I love it ! I actually ended up buying more products from peak design and love them so far they have been very durable. I was actually stuck in the rain with my sling 5L bag and was worried about my camera getting wet but they did a fantastic job with this bag and their every day backpack as well. I love this brand
