Weak support. Corrected!

I heard this company provided great products. This is not the case. Does not hold firmly,it IPhone X in VW Passat air vents. Wish I could return but I live outside the US. Seems well constructed though. Hopefully only my unit was defective. Edit, customer support was great. They sent a new one. No questions asked. Very satisfied

I just received the One Touch and it works perfectly in my vehicle. It was very easy to install and make some minor adjustments; also liked the air vent install point vs prior cd install point as provides better viewing point/visibility and I-phone holds steady in place- Ed Connell

Quick release quicker put in.

This is my second one, family members keep trying to steal it... But the ease of popping my phone on, and taking it out is a major factor for me. I travel a lot so being able to take it off my car, and on to a rental is gold! Works in all the vents I've tried it in about three types. You can tighten and loosen to get firm or moveable flexibility. Portrait or landscape movie or directions. Pretty nice and simple and light design. Waiting for their over the bed head version.

Sensible features, easy to use.

Bought this for travel / rental car use. Nifty push-in design trips the arms to auto-grip the phone. Very smart ball/socket design allows fine-tuning the phone angle / orientation.

Prefer this phone mount to any other ones out there

Not sure why other reviewers are saying that the vent falls off. I’ve had mine for 4 months now and I’ve only had to re-fasten it once due to me accidentally hitting the holder pretty hard. It’s been super sturdy to me and the one hand mechanism that iottie has for their products is amazing. I would personally recommend this product since it’s now a law in my state of California where even holding your phone in your hand is illegal.

Great mount that is very sturdy

I've had phone holders that are suction cups or magnets. Suction cups surprisingly suck (meaning they do a poor job of holding your phone). The only suction cup holder that I've had success with are the Ram X-Grip mounts and even then, in certain weather, the suction cup will lose grip and fall. Magnetic disk holders are good if your phone is small and your case is thin. I have a Note 9 with an average case (in my opinion) and the magnet doesn't hold very well. It does the job, but it has fallen before if I go over a large bump. This holder seems to be very sturdy. It inserted into the vent of my 2009 Corolla rather well and after a little bit of twisting and turning, I was able to tighten the holder down pretty well. I don't think the holder is coming out of the vent unless I loosen it. I like the ball joint since it allows me to turn the phone in a direction without having to redo the whole mount. The only 2 downsides are: 1. It holds my phone pretty close to the vent and the center console. This isn't entirely the holder's fault since a) it is the vent, b) The Note 9 is a large phone and c) The Corolla is just set up that way 2. The holders snap in when you place your phone into the holder. I don't entirely believe that the phone is 100% seated in the holder since it snaps so quickly so my OCD requires me to push the phone in. I've only had the holder a few months, so we'll see how it holds up over time.

Works great! The best mount I've ever had

So glad that in my extensive research, I chose this mount! I absolutely love it! It's never fallen off or failed, even with my occasional spirited driving ;) It does just what it's supposed to - hold my phone securely, and swivel around for the perfect position. Set up was a snap. I will recommend this mount to anyone looking for a solution. My phone is an iPhone 6s, and I'm confident if I upgraded to a larger 7 Plus, it would be fine.

Easy install

This thing is great. Went on a 2000 mile road trip with it. Was easy to attach an iPhone 6s and Samsung galaxy s7, both with otter cases. Easy to attach to the car too.

Does what it says it does

Just barely stretches far enough to fit the iPhone XS Max. It clicks right into place and is really sturdy. If you attach the vent connector properly and tighten it well it won’t jiggle at all while your driving I think it did exactly what I wanted it to do. I still can’t use the heater though the vent heats up the phone and shuts it down so don’t go the vent clip mount route if you live somewhere that’s cold.

I chose a vent holder because I was worried that the suction kind would damage my dashboard, or even melt, as I read from some reviews. This one works much better than my other vent holder because you can tighten up the part that inserts onto the vent. The trick is to position the phone so that the weight doesn't make the holder tilt down, but where you can touch the screen without the phone moving. Doesn't move at all the way I positioned it. A little worried that the spring release will break after multiple uses, but works great so far.
