Finally, no need for AA batteries in 2018.

So far they've been working as described and are a great price for what they provide. I play my Xbox casually, but in 2018 I feel like we need to get away from batteries all together, so it's nice to simply charge these in a fairly quick fashion whenever the battery gets low without having to wrry about going out to buy more. They do fit very tightly into the battery compartment and almost had me worried they wouldn't work or fit, but it's actually the contrary. The nice thing about these also is that you can put on your original doors or having it exposed. It's definitely a bonus, however, that they come with spares just in case. I don't see myself ever having to use them, but better safe than sorry. Definitely worth the price, especially considering that $20 now will be the last $20 you ever spend on batteries again. If anything does happen to them, I will update the review, but for now, the last two weeks or so with them have proved that this was an investment that was well worth it, especially considering just one of these batteries alone is about $25 from Microsoft, and is about the same mAh if not worse.

Good rechargeable batteries

Bought these for my Xbox One controllers. Went through alot of different rechargeable battery reviews and settled on this one. What I liked about these is that they are similar to the one microsoft makes. It fits my recharging tower perfectly. The batteries last quite a few hours before I need to replace it on the charger. I have not really timed it, since I use it in different ways. I start playing a game, the a few hours later, I will start streaming a movie, and you really do not need the controller much after the show starts. I recommend this as a good buy.

It works the way it should.

I bought this because I was sick of swapping out batteries just for them to die two times a day. I don't play for eight hours straight though, so it's hard for me to give an estimate on battery life, but I do at least play four to five hours a day and it lasts me two days before I have to charge it. However, even when you do need to charge it, unless you're very far from your tv, most can usually play it while it's plugged in, given the length. As for the aesthetics, that black slot to keep the battery in place that it comes with, looks awesome. Pros The battery lasts a sufficient amount of time The cord is at least eight or nine feet.(2.4 to 2.7 meters) Perfect for many people. Especially in the living room while watching netflix or youtube. Comes with two batteries. Though this is more about the nice quantity and not the quality. Aesthetically awesome. Cons Short cord for large rooms. This is only a problem if you are a very far distance and it's actually tugged off the ground, causing a trip hazard. You'd order a longer cord in this case. tl;dr: Amazing product and it does what it's supposed to perfectly.

Great Customer Service!

The battery fully charged with this "plug and play" barely lasts a few hours for me. It always feels as though the moment I unplug it the battery is low again within an hour. It's virtually useless and now remains plugged in full time just so I can play. ***UPDATE 8/9/2018*** After initially leaving a poor review this seller reached out to help resolve the issue. They offered to replace the item at no cost. When my new plug and play with arrived I immediately noticed a difference. The LED on the plug was bright and clear, whereas the LED on the original was dim and flickering. It appears I originally just received a bad cable/battery (it happens). They were awesome and resolved the problem. Very pleased!

This is better than Microsoft's on Amazon.

I bought a rechargeable battery from Microsoft, here on Microsoft. It sucked. Worked for a few days and then could not hold a charge longer than 10 min. I wasted money buying from Microsoft. SO BUY THIS PRODUCT INSTEAD, if you're buying online. Simply put, this gets the job done. I've spent an extensive amount of time using both batteries (they send you 2 batteries). They charge very quickly and hold a charge for hours.

Solid battery pack

The battery pack is a good deal for the price point. It came with all parts as advertised (2 battery packs + 2 charging cables with indicator light + 2 black control cover) Batteries are pretty light and doesn’t affect the overall weight of the control. Indicator light is very usefull. I’ve not tried the batteries intensively, but they look to hold very well the charge. Time will corroborate that. Something noticeable is that battery status is not displayed in TV screen, so the control will turn off when battery is discharged without any notice. UPDATE Batteries hold charge pretty well, I will say for more than 16 hours each. Something noticeable is that the light in the cord of one of them doesn’t work properly (sometimes both blue and red are on at the same time). Besides that, and the fact that the controllers don’t show you battery life), it has been a good product so far.

When I ordered these batteries there weren’t any reviews so I wasn’t sure the quality of them. I decided you got a risk it to get the biscuit. I ordered them and I’m glad I did. These batteries are great the longevity of life in them is superb. I would definitely recommend anyone to pick up these batteries as you get the casing the cables and the batteries for a great price without compromising on quality. After a full charge I was able to play on and off (with a headset) for over a week before recharging.

Short charge time, decent battery life, very worth the price

I decided to go with this option compared with the official Xbox branded version, which was almost as expensive but only included one battery set. First off, the delivery was very quick, almost a week faster than the estimated delivery date (US-W, free shipping option). The battery itself is very light and actually made the controller notably lighter compared with using standard batteries. Despite the light weight, the batteries are pretty sturdy and fit into the controller perfectly, no rattling around or buzzing during use. The charging cords have indicator lights which stay red when charging and then turn blue when the battery is charged. So far this indicator light has worked perfectly. As far as battery life, I've gotten a good 3 hours of play out of one charge. This is less than you'd get from (decent) standard AA batteries, but it brings me to my favorite part of these batteries: they charge quickly! This may change over time, but right now I get that blue light after 20-30 minutes. Even so, my main goal was to stop using expensive and hard-to-recycle AA batteries, and these batteries do the trick. My one complaint: the charging cords are just a foot or two too short. I tend to sit on the floor in front of my TV, so it works out for me, but for most folks who tend to sit on a couch while playing, you will likely need to make sure you're charged up ahead of time. Overall: very worth the price. Good charging time, decent battery life, but the charging cords are a bit too short. UPDATE: 4 months of regular use. They still work great! I've tended to leave my controller plugged in more often than not, so I've paid less attention to the charge speed. I would say anecdotally the charging time has slowed, but if you can remember to plug in after a session, you should never have an issue with these. The freedom from AA batteries is deeply worth buying a charging system! Since this is on my mind, I'll say I played probably 6 hours straight of Fallout 4 this past weekend with the controller unplugged (charged overnight I think). Your experience may vary, but I thought it especially impressive because I have headphones plugged into the controller for that game.
